[OVERVIEW]
Despite its great HP, Attack, and Defense, Rhyhorn is outclassed by Rock-types such as Onix and Tirtouga, as they have better bulk and access to decent utility options, which Rhyhorn lacks. Rhyhorn's poor Special Defense and Speed in tandem with its common weaknesses mean that many special attackers are able to outspeed and easily KO it, which worsens Rhyhorn's defensive presence. The presence of Onix, a check to Flying-types check with higher Speed and better abilities and Pawniard, a better offensive Stealth Rock setter that checks Flying-types, makes it hard to justify using Rhyhorn on any serious team.

[SET]
name: Rhyhorn

move 4: Megahorn / Fire Fang / Poison Jab
item: Eviolite
ability: Rock Head
nature: Careful
evs: 36 HP / 156 Atk / 156 Def / 116 SpD

[SET COMMENTS]
Rhyhorn can be used as an offensive Stealth Rock setter that can threaten opposing leads as well; however, it's not worth using due to its low Speed and Special Defense stats. As pointed out above, Onix and Pawniard outclass Rhyhorn due to their better Speed, abilities, and presence as Stealth Rock setters and checks to Flying-types. .

[OVERVIEW]
  • The very beginning of this analysis should talk about how it is outclassed. Eg: "Rhyhorn is outclassed as a Flying-type check despite its decent Attack and Defense stats due to its poor Speed, Special Defense, and typing..." and then explain why each of these is bad. Right now I think the analysis skews a little bit too positive
  • Mention that its weaknesses to common types compound with its poor speed to make it defensively worthless

[SET]
This is fine. I'd consider slashing Double-Edge last slot and running Rock Head as the ability.

[SET COMMENTS]
  • Using the word respectively is weird here. Both Onix AND Pawniard are better flying checks and rocks setters than Rhyhorn. Rephrase the last sentence to reflect this please.

[OVERVIEW]

First sentence is way too loaded right now. Would recommend making two smaller sentences, the first about how despite Rhyhorn's great HP, Attack, and Defense it's outclassed as a Flying-type check by Tirtouga and Onix (pick whatever flying type checks you want for the examples) and then say why very briefly. Then do a second sentence explaining that Rhyhorn's low SpD and Speed paired with its poor typing make it a bad defensive pokemon in general.

[SET]

I don't think you need the Double Edge slash, realistically you're never going to actually use the move. Rhyhorn's just kind of stuck with no useful ability and that's fine.

I also got a second opinion and definitely think you should have Megahorn as the first slash here, hitting Snivy is more useful than hitting Ferroseed for a hazard setter.

[SET COMMENTS]

Looks fine.

Implement these and you're 2/2

Despite its great stats of HP, Attack,(AC) and Defense, Rhyhorn is outclassed by Rock-types such as Onix and Tirtouga, as they have better bulk and have access to decent options of utility, which Rhyhorn lacks of. (you were right when you originally had these words as plural) Stealth a Rock setter and Flying-check.
