  • Follow all rules listed here.
  • Schedule via Smogon VMs. It's easier for me to make decisions for activity calls when I can actually see what went down with scheduling.
  • If you are unable to schedule with your opponent, please let your managers know ASAP so they can communicate that to me or the other team's managers for a potential substitute.
  • Substitutions may be made after a week has started. When making a substitution, please tag myself, the managers of the opposing team, and all of the players affected by the substitute to ensure that everyone is made aware. Players who have already played in the week or were subbed out in the same week cannot be subbed back in.
  • If a match remains incomplete by the time of the deadline, it will be subject to an activity call.
  • Replays are mandatory. Not only are they useful for confirming wins, they contribute to usage stats and allow the people who couldn't watch the games live to watch them later.
  • Managers: Please send me your lineups in the same format that I used to post pairings. It makes it much easier to post future rounds more quickly.

4/12 not looking so good as far as it goes, kinda feels like it's in Deja Vu from UMPL again, but perhaps not...:worrycargo:
Week 2 has been shifted into more bulkiness as not only there's increased usage of defensive mons like Skarmory, but as well bulkier structure overall. A highlight for me would be Susciety's Double Sand team because who expects both Hippo + Tyranitar on the same team, Le Don is indeed disgusting for building that team. I expect this and next week to be more Magnets or more bulky offenses focused on pressuring Shed Shell Skarm and Zapdos teams.


DPP OU: BluBirD vs Lazuli - Lazuli has been playing well even if they got haxxed last week. What they have brought atm has given them the right matchups so it makes it confident for me to see them take this week as well. It also feels like if BluBirD loses momentum in mid-game it becomes over with a clear win path for the opponent. If BluBirD fixes the early to mid-game turns then I can see him taking the win, if not then Lazuli will become a hard opponent for BluBirD.
DPP OU: TLTK vs JabbaTheGriffin - Against the odds, I'm betting for TLTK to win this one here. Will say I'm not happy with what TLTK has been bringing, lacks a good amount of double steel... Jabba's probably going to lame him out with para spam or just make progress that's gonna end up wearing him out since his team kind of lacks the longevity. If TLTK gets the MU and those annoying positions tho>>>>>, Jabba's not gonna be happy for sure.


DPP OU: Gondra vs Susciety - Offense vs someone with some suspicious teams. Good thing Susciety brings it in the right matchups so I can expect him to be picking a good one vs Gondra here. I think both win paths come down to if Gondra gets to overwhelm Susciety and be ahead in the match or if Susciety is going deter and disrupt their progress by playing like a wall, or bringing a mon that just shuts down their momentum. Betting Susciety since he's been playing well, but I can easily see Gondra swipe him out tbh.
DPP OU: -Tsunami- vs TyCarter - I have a feeling that Tsunami's going to troll Tycarter by para spam or just something gimmicky, and not gonna lie I can see them cheese a win like that. TyCarter will easily take a win if they get the right matchup, but I'm betting Tsunami to win since I am not expecting this match to be a clean one regardless.

It should have been Susciety vs Tsunami instead but alas.


DPP OU: Sharow vs Le Don - Another battle between the French players! Which is like half of DPP matches anyway since half of the player base is somehow from France MDR. Le Don should be prepared for whatever offensive teams Sharow is going. Le Don could get lucked, but overall take this win here in a clear fashion.
DPP OU: QWILY vs Pideous - Upsets can always happen, but Pideous has been on fire and I ain't see QWILY stopping his momentum this week.


I'll be playing vs Stallion at 12 pm (not midnight) gmt+2 on Sunday for anyone that's curious. Been playing too many matches vs him at the ladder and very excited we're going to play in a tournament setting :quagchamppogsire::quagchamppogsire::quagchamppogsire:
