[SET COMMENTS]

Roselia is one of the most effective offensive Spikes setters in the tier; its solid Special Attack stat combined with a STAB combination that lets it hit everything neutrally bar Pawniard, Mawile, and Klang, the former two of which are both hit heavily by Leaf Storm, allows it easily wallbreak and set Toxic Spikes or Spikes on switches it forces against Pokemon like Palpitoad, Gourgeist-XL, and Raichu. Roselia can further supplement this by running Sleep Powder, allowing it to cripple Defoggers like Vespiquen and Vibrava, offensive entry hazard setters like Crustle and Mawile, and prevent Pokemon like Klang and Type: Null from recovering against it with Rest. This, however, comes at the cost of not being able to consistently pivot into Pokemon like Dubwool, Gourgeist-XL, and Raichu, which Synthesis allows. A Timid nature allows Roselia to outspeed Modest Mr. Rime and Adamant Falinks, however a Modest nature is an option for better damage, notably allowing Roselia a chance to KO Pawniard with 2 consecutive Leaf Storm's after Stealth Rock. Eject Pack is an option that pairs well with Leaf Storm, offering momentum on switch-ins like specially defensive Mawile, however, it comes at the cost of a lot of the deefensive utility Roselia provides in checking Pokemon like Raichu.

Roselia's entry hazard support makes it a prime teammate for wallbreakers like Raboot, Falinks, and Basculin, helping to wear down their checks like Mareanie, Throh, and Palpitoad. Raboot in particular is a fantastic option that can pressure Mawile for Roselia, and benefits greatly from Spikes variants, which pairs excellently with U-turn.

Other Volt Switch or U-turn users such as Raichu and Silvally-Electric also pair well with Roselia, helping to provide it with free opportunities to set Spikes or wallbreak against Pokemon like Type-Null, Gourgeist-XL, or Paplitoad. this bullet should be framed about raichu and elecvally being elec-types, they're great partners but they don't even run pivoting moves all of the time. rose helps them with grass-types, they help it with type null and klang that rose quite struggles with, and they further pressure to mare, maw, and pawn.

Specially defensive Mawile is a great partner to check Psychic- and Ice-types like Mr. Rime and Glaceon that can pressure Roselia, while providing Stealth Rock to further support Roselia's teammates, and inviting in Mareanie and Palpitoad for Roselia. Pawniard is also a good option, being able to deter Defoggers like Silvally-Psychic and Vespiquen with Defiant, and offensively checking the above Pokemon. Ghost-types such as Drakloak and Dusclops are also helpful to help Roselia keep its entry hazards up more reliably vs Rapid Spin users like Hitmontop and Mr. Rime; physically defensive Dusclops can also help to check threats like Raboot and Stonjourner for Roselia, while Drakloak appreciates Roselia's Toxic Spikes allowing it to more freely click Hex. Psychic-types such as Musharna and Mr. Rime can take advantage of Toxic Spikes absorbers like Mareanie and opposing Roselia, and potentially clean up late game with Calm Mind or Nasty Plot sets respectively. Both Pokemon appreciate checks like Pawniard and Mawile being weakened and potentially slept with Sleep Powder by Roselia. Other cleaners such as Persian and Pikachu greatly appreciate Roselia's spikes support wearing down their switch-ins.

[SET COMMENTS]

Specially defensive Roselia serves as a decent Toxic Spikes setter and answer to threats like Ludicolo, Choice Specs Basculin, Raichu, and offensive Roselia, for bulkier teams, which further appreciate its ability to absorb Toxic Spikes. It, however, faces competition in this role as a grounded Poison-type and Toxic Spikes setter from Mareanie, who can provide a solid answer to threats like Falinks and Dubwool and threatening Fire-types like Heatmor and Raboot that are otherwise very difficult to defensively deal with. Giga Drain is used as a consistent Grass-type STAB that can help to supplement the low PP of Synthesis, which can be quickly worn down. 36 Speed EVs allow Roselia to outspeed Palpitoad. Natural Cure is Roselia's best ability, helping to limit the effects of Scald burns from Pokemon like Mareanie and Will-O-Wisp or Thunder Wave from Drakloak and Togetic.

Roselia appreciates strong checks to offensive Ice- and Psychic-types such as Glaceon, Mr. Rime, and Beheeyem that can take advantage of it, such as specially defensive Mawile, which can also provide Stealth Rock, and Type: Null. Specially defensive Mr. Rime can also assist with the former two and provide Rapid Spin support to prevent Roselia being overwhelmed by entry hazards, however, it must be careful of Shadow Ball. Teammates like Palpitoad, and Throh can help to check Fire-types like Raboot and Heatmor that can repeatedly threaten Roselia and are immune to its entry hazards due to Heavy-Duty Boots, as well as providing checks to other physical threats like Pawniard, Crustle, and Stonjourner that can force out or set up on Roselia. Palpitoad can further provide a more reliable check to Manectric than Roselia and deal with physical Basculin, while Bulk Up Throh can provide a late game win condition that appreciates Roselia's hazard support. Dusclops is another great option to pair with Roselia, providing a spinblocker against Pokemon like Hitmontop to keep up Roselia's entry hazards, and also being able to help deal with other physical threats like Swords Dance Silvally-Psychic, Stonjourner, and Falinks. Other bulky set up sweepers like Klang and Musharna are good options with Roselia; Klang can further check Glaceon and Mr. Rime for Roselia, while Musharna can help to check threats like Falinks and pressure Toxic Spikes absorbers in Roselia and Mareanie.

Roselia is one of the most effective offensive Spike setters in the tier; its solid Special Attack stat combined with a STAB combination that lets it hit everything neutrally bar Pawniard, Mawile, and Klang, (maybe just say steel-types) the former two of which are both hit heavily by Leaf Storm, allows it easily wallbreak and set Toxic Spikes or Spikes on switches it forces against Pokemon like Golurk, (yasss) Gourgeist-*, (u struggle against offensive regular gourg tho, specify which form) and Raichu. Roselia can further supplement this by running Sleep Powder, allowing it to cripple defensive checks like specially defensive Mawile and Defoggers like Vespiquen and Vibrava, at the cost of not being able to consistently pivot into Pokemon like Mawile, Dubwool, and Raichu, which Synthesis allows. (mention how u-turn pairs really well with spikes, too) Specially defensive Mawile is a great partner to check Psychic- and Ice-types like Mr. Rime and Glaceon that can pressure Roselia, while providing Stealth Rock to further support Roselia's teammates. (also invites in pokemon like mareanie and palpi for roselia, and knock offs klang's eviolite) Pawniard is also a good option, being able to deter Defoggers like Silvally (specify psychic here) and Vespiquen with Defiant, and offensively checking the above Pokemon. Ghost-types such as Dusclops and Drakloak are also helpful to help Roselia keep its entry hazards up more reliably vs Rapid Spin users like Hitmontop and Mr. Rime; Dusclops can also help to check threats like Raboot (specify physdef dusclops; spdef versions lose to bulk up raboot im p sure) and Stonjourner for Roselia, while Drakloak appreciates Roselia's Toxic Spikes allowing it to more freely click Hex. A Timid nature allows Roselia to outspeed Modest Mr. Rime and Adamant Falinks, however a Modest nature is an option for better damage, noteably notably allowing Roselia a chance to KO Pawniard with 2 consecutive Leaf Storm's after Stealth Rock.

talk about how it provides some defensive utility even when uninvested as it can counter grass-types like gourg-xl and shiinotic

add a mention of eject pack

Roselia's entry hazard support makes it a prime teammate for wallbreakers like Raboot, Falinks, and Basculin, helping to wear down their checks like Mareanie, Throh, and Palpitoad. Other Volt Switch or U-turn users such as Raichu and Silvally-Electric also pair well with Roselia, helping to provide it with free opportunities to set Spikes or wallbreak against Pokemon like Type-Null rose doesn't break null, and that's not how u spell null btw, Gourgeist-XL, or Paplitoad this bullet should be framed about raichu and elecvally being elec-types, they're great partners but they don't even run pivoting moves all of the time. rose helps them with grass-types, they help it with type null and klang that rose quite struggles with, and they further pressure to mare, maw, and pawn. It also invites in Mareanie and Palpitoad for Roselia, and can Knock Off Klang's Eviolite for it it doesn't help rose in any way really, rose is getting walled regardless. ik gum told u to add this btw, i talked to him and it's fine to remove. Pawniard is also a good option, being able to deter Defoggers like Silvally-Psychic and Vespiquen with Defiant, and offensively checking the above Pokemon them. Ghost-types such as Dusclops and Drakloak are also helpful to help Roselia keep its entry hazards up more reliably vs Rapid Spin users like Hitmontop and Mr. Rime switch these around, drakloak is a bad rime switch-in; physically defensive Dusclops can also help to check threats like Raboot and Stonjourner for Roselia, while Drakloak appreciates Roselia's Toxic Spikes allowing it to more freely click Hex. Psychic-types such as Musharna and Mr. Rime can take advantage of Toxic Spikes absorbers like Mareanie and opposing Roselia, and potentially clean up late game with Calm Mind or Nasty Plot sets respectively. It, however, faces competition in this role as a grounded Poison-type and Toxic Spikes setter from Mareanie, who can provide a solid answer to threats like Falink Falinks and Dubwool, as well as threatening i wouldn't say threatening bc mare isn't threatening, it simply deals with them Fire-types like Heatmor and Raboot that are otherwise very difficult to defensively deal with. Giga Drain is used as a consistent Grass-type STAB that can help to supplement the low PP of Synthesis, which can be quickly worn down. 36 Speed EVs allow Roselia to outspeed Palpitoad.
