The end of the tomato season is finally upon me! This means no more countless hours peeling and canning, and most importantly I get to wear shirts of other colors and not be afraid to stain them! Also, I've been wanting to do another giveaway.

So yeah, answer at least 8 of these questions right and you get one Pokemon that's listed here. If you get them all right, you can have them all!

I MIGHT need a distributor or two, but that remains to be seen.

1. How heavy was the world's largest tomato?
2. What is the name of the anthropomorphic tomato that sings a certain song with a cucumber?
3. We picked 11 gallons (measured by one 5 gallon bucket and six 2 gallon buckets) of tomatoes. About how many quart jars did we get after the processing?
4. What other fruit's juice is used with salt in the process of canning?
5. What does boiling tomatoes for half a minute do?
6. What is the name of a large, green bug that blends in with and eats the tomato stalks?
7. Can tomatoes help prevent types of cancer?
8. Name 5 recipes that call for tomatoes.
9. What causes tomato blight?
10. What vitamin or mineral do tomatoes have the most of?

My distributors are Tombstoner and Luxpluff91.

I will accept submissions up until this Friday, August 12th. PM me your answers so you don't tip anyone else needlessly!

A2
: Bob the Tomato from Veggie Tales.

The benefits of lycopene as a cancer preventing antioxidant are evident in a number of lab studies, but as a doctor I would be hard pressed to say that tomatoes would give you enough lycopene to mimic those results. As a result, there is no compelling evidence from medical trials or otherwise that tomatoes prevent cancer. Another handy hint: if you get kidney or bladder stones, it is best to avoid tomato products due to their high oxalic acid content.
