[OVERVIEW]

Rotom-F is able to distinguish itself from its fellow Electric-types thanks to its unique typing and access to powerful STAB attacks in Blizzard and Thunderbolt. Its Speed tier is important to note because it allows Rotom-F to outspeed notable threats such as Mesprit and Skuntank. Moreover, Rotom-F's access to Substitute and Pain Split enables it to threaten bulkier teams that rely on passive walls like Audino and Type: Null. On the downside, while its Speed tier is above average, Rotom-F is still easily revenge killed by commonplace offensive Pokemon such as Pyroar and Primeape. Unfortunately, Rotom-F's typing and lack of coverage options leaves it walled by prevalent bulky Electric-types such as Lanturn and Eelektross. Furthermore, Rotom-F sports a Stealth Rock weakness, which, when combined with its lack of reliable recovery, low HP stat, and poor defensive typing, can cause it to be worn down quickly. Finally, Rotom-F faces competition from Abomasnow and Aurorus, which boast a 100% accurate Blizzard due to Snow Warning and have an easier time dealing with specially defensive Pokemon like Lanturn that Rotom-F isn't able to handle.

Moves
========

Substitute enables Rotom-F to capitalize on switches and common bulkier archetypes that utilize Pokemon such as Audino while simultaneously shielding it from status and forcing mind games with Sucker Punch users. Pain Split gives Rotom-F a form of recovery that allows it to cripple bulky Pokemon with high HP stats. Blizzard is a powerful STAB move with no drawbacks other than its shaky accuracy that threatens Electric-resistant and -immune Pokemon such as Eelektross and Gastrodon. Thunderbolt is a reliable STAB attack that hits Pokemon that resist Blizzard such as Pyroar and Poliwrath.

Set Details
========

Maximum investment in both Special Attack and Speed maximizes Rotom-F's offensive capabilities, with a Timid nature allowing it to outspeed Pinsir, Skuntank, and Mesprit. Levitate gives Rotom-F a useful immunity to Spikes, Toxic Spikes, and Ground-type attacks, thus allowing it to pivot into them throughout the match. Icium Z transforms Blizzard into Subzero Slammer, giving Rotom-F access to a reliable, one-time nuke against weakened foes like Eelektross.

Usage Tips
========

Rotom-F can be utilized at any point in a match, whether it be early-game to revenge kill a foe like Swanna or mid-game to annoy bulkier teams with its Substitute + Pain Split combination. Use Substitute against bulkier teams with passive Pokemon like Audino that cannot do enough damage in return to Rotom-F. Similarly, Rotom-F should use Pain Split against bulky Pokemon that have recovery moves, such as Type: Null, in order to heal itself up reliably; however, be wary that the opponent could predict Rotom-F using Pain Split and go into an already weakened Pokemon to make Rotom-F weaker and force mind games. If Stealth Rock is on the field, Rotom-F should avoid switching into attacks unless it resists them because of its poor typing and weakness to Stealth Rock. Rotom-F can be switched into predicted Ground-type attacks thanks to Levitate or be hard switched into Stealth Rock setters and use either Blizzard or Volt Switch for momentum as they switch out; however, be aware that almost all Ground-types will have coverage to hit Rotom-F. The ideal ways of getting Rotom-F onto the field safely are through pivot moves like U-turn and Volt Switch and when one of its teammates is KOed. Make sure to use Subzero Slammer when Rotom-F cannot risk missing Blizzard or to finish off weakened bulky Pokemon that might be out of range of Blizzard such as Eelektross.

Team Options
========

Strong physical wallbreakers such as Kingler and Lycanroc are ideal partners, as they can tear through specially defensive Pokemon such as Clefairy and Lanturn. In return, Rotom-F is able to deal with physically defensive Pokemon such as Gastrodon and Weezing for them. Entry hazard support is appreciated, since Rotom-F fails to break specially defensive Pokemon like Lanturn, so setters such as Mesprit, Ferroseed, and Weezing pair well with Rotom-F. Mesprit and Weezing, in particular, can check Fighting-types, and Mesprit provides U-turn and Healing Wish support. Additionally, entry hazard removal from Pokemon such as Hitmonchan, Skuntank, and Swanna is appreciated, as Stealth Rock hinders Rotom-F's longevity. Hitmonchan, in particular, checks Lanturn and Eelektross for Rotom-F and comes with the advantage of not removing any potential entry hazards set by Rotom-F's team. Pokemon such as Clefairy and Lanturn are also ideal because they can take on Fire-types like Pyroar that Rotom-F struggles against; however, Clefairy is shaky due to Pyroar having access to Taunt. Lastly, Abomasnow and Aurorus, while not offering much defensive synergy, can make for decent partners due to Snow Warning increasing Blizzard's accuracy and making it more spammable. The former two also wear down Ice-resistant foes from Rotom-F, which gives it an easier time cleaning up.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

A Choice Scarf set with Blizzard, Thunderbolt, Volt Switch, and Trick is a viable alternative that can turn Rotom-F into more of a revenge killer, but Rotom-F prefers being able to switch between moves, since both of its STAB moves are relatively easy to exploit when locked into. Life Orb is an option that powers up Rotom-F's attacks, but this comes with the drawback of recoil damage. Leftovers can be used to give Rotom-F passive recovery if the team it's on already has a Z-Move user. A defensive set with Substitute + Will-O-Wisp allows Rotom-F to cripple physical attackers, though Rotom-F has trouble dropping an attack for Will-O-Wisp. Likewise, Thunder Wave provides Rotom-F's team with a method of keeping faster Pokemon in check, but Rotom-F experiences difficulty dropping a move for it as well. Hidden Power Ground can be used to hit Probopass and Togedemaru for 4x super effective damage, but its other moves are more critical, and Hidden Power Ground doesn't deal enough damage to its main counter, Lanturn. Lastly, Rotom-F can make for a decent offensive user of Defog, since it has a good matchup against common entry hazard setters such as Golurk, but the lack of reliable recovery coupled with its weakness to Stealth Rock hampers the viability of such a set.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Specially Defensive Pokemon**: Specially bulky Pokemon such as Audino, Clefairy, Eelektross, Hitmonchan, Lanturn, and Type: Null are all capable of taking at least one attack from Rotom-F and either recovering off the damage or KOing it. In particular, Lanturn is annoying for Rotom-F to deal with, since it's immune to Thunderbolt and Volt Switch, it resists Blizzard, and it can stall Rotom-F out with Toxic, while Clefairy can use Rotom-F as complete setup bait with Calm Mind to further boost its Special Attack and Special Defense.

**Revenge Killers**: Rotom-F's only decent Speed tier leaves it outsped and taken care of by common offensive Pokemon such as Primeape, Pyroar, and Alolan Raichu. Priority from the likes of Gurdurr, Hitmonchan, Lycanroc, and Shiftry can also pick Rotom-F off if it has taken enough damage beforehand, although it can potentially play around Sucker Punch with Substitute.

**Residual Damage**: Rotom-F's weakness to Stealth Rock, lack of reliable recovery outside of Pain Split, vulnerability to Toxic, and usage of Substitute all leave it worn down rather quickly, meaning that it can have trouble with remaining around.

First amcheck, implement what you agree with, and leave whatever you don't like.

[OVERVIEW]
  • Rotom-F's access to high Special Attack in combination with its near-unresisted dual STAB combo and high-powered STAB moves in Blizzard and Thunderbolt grants it a unique niche in the PU metagame.
  • Its decent Speed allows for it to outspeed some of PU's most common offensive threats such as Magmortar, Mesprit and Skuntank.
  • Due to the combination of Substitute and Pain Split, Rotom-F can serve as annoyance to some of the best specially defensive Pokemon such as Audino and Clefairy.
  • On the downside, while its Speed tier is decent, Rotom-F can still be easily revenge killed by commonplace offensive Pokemon such as Archeops and Primeape.
  • Rotom-F's typing also isn't too solid because it leaves it vulnerable to prevalent Electric-types such as Lanturn and Eelektross. This point is kinda funny; how does its typing worsen its matchup against said mons? Bridge the gap between these two points. I also dunno how I feel about Eelektross being mentioned, as SubSplit and Subzero Slammer wear it down a lot. I guess it does annoy Rotom-F, though, so keep Eel there if you like.
  • Unfortunately, Rotom-F also sports a Stealth Rock weakness, and lack of reliable recovery outside of Pain Split, which isn't very reliable, only makes matters worse. I'd also mention its poor defensive typing outside of just rocks: fire, fighting, lack of resistances. The Pain Split point, also, is contradictory: you mention Rotom-F's lack of reliable recovery outside of Pain Split, implying it's reliable, before going back on that point and saying that it isn't.
  • Lastly, Rotom-F faces competition from Abomasnow and Aurorus, who boast a 100% accurate Blizzard due to Snow Warning and have an easier time dealing with specially defensive Pokemon that Rotom-F isnt tasked to handle, like Lanturn. I'd explicitly mention that it faces competition with them as an offensive Ice-type.

Moves
========
  • Substitute allows for Rotom-F to capitalize on switches it forces, guards it from status, and allows for it play around Sucker Punch from Pokemon such as Absol, Shiftry, and Skuntank.
  • Pain Split, although not the most reliable, gives Rotom-F a form of recovery that annoys bulky Pokemon with high HP stats, and allows for it to stay healthy throughout the match.
  • Blizzard is Rotom-F's only Ice-type STAB move. Despite its lower accuracy, it is fairly powerful, allowing it to threaten Pokemon that are immune to or resist its Electric-type moves such as Palossand and Eelektross.
  • Thunderbolt is a reliable, fairly strong STAB move that hits a lot of what resists Blizzard for either neutral or super effective damage. Like which mons?
Set Details

  • Maximum investment in both Special Attack and Speed maximize Rotom-F's offensive capabilities, with a Timid nature allowing it to outspeed Pinsir, Skunktank and Mesprit. You mention Skuntank and Mesprit in the overview, so maybe some different examples?
  • Levitate, Rotom-F's only ability, gives it a useful immunity to Ground-type attacks, allowing it to pivot into them if need be. I'd give examples of Ground-types/Ground-type coverage users here.
  • Icium Z turns Blizzard into Subzero Slammer, giving Rotom-F access to a reliable, one-time nuke. Mention some Pokemon that Subzero Slammer help break/KO.
Usage Tips

  • Rotom-F should avoid switching in on stronger, neutral attacks due to its mediocre bulk, especially if Stealth Rock is up.
  • The ideal ways of getting Rotom-F onto the field safely is through U-turn, or after one of its teammates is KOed.

  • Use Pain Split once Rotom-F begins taking damage so that it can remain healthy and switch onto the field comfortably throughout the match.
  • Rotom-F should use Icium Z when it cannot risk the missing Blizzard, or to finish off weakened Pokemon that are out of range of Blizzard. Or to nuke walls?
No mention of setting up sub on forced switches?

  • Entry hazard support is appreciated since it Rotom-F is weak, entry hazard setters such as Mesprit, Ferroseed, and Weezing make for good partners. Mesprit and Weezing can also check Fighting-types, while Mesprit provides a slow U-turn and Healing Wish support.
  • Entry hazard removal is also appreciated as Stealth Rock hinders Rotom-F's longevity. Pokemon such as Hitmonchan, Skuntank, and Swanna make for good teammates. Hitmonchan, in particular, comes with the advantage of not removing any potential entry hazards set by Rotom-F's team.
  • Pivots such as Mesprit and Silvally-Fairy are also good partners because they can get Rotom-F in safely against Pokemon it otherwise would not be able to switch in on.
  • Abomasnow and Aurorus, while not offering much defensive synergy, can make for interesting partners due to Snow Warning increasing Blizzard's accuracy and making it more spammable. The former also wear down Ice-resists from Rotom-F, which gives it an easier time cleaning up.
I dunno about that last point; I get it helps out Blizzard, but it seems unnecessary to stack weaknesses just to increase Blizzard's accuracy, which seems to be the main point.

I'd also mention Pokemon that appreciate Rotom-F wearing down or denting certain walls, like setup sweepers.

Mention competition with other scarfers and p meh speed tier, slower than most speed-boosting setup sweepers and opposing scarfers.

3 points on switching in, 2 on how to use subsplit, 1 on how to use z-moves. none of this is original or gives anything really specific to rotom. id expect a bit more out of anybody but especially when u wanted to take this over. even tho im stamping, im gonna look back at UT once u implement the check to make sure it gets better than this

  • Rotom-F's access to high Special Attack in combination with its near-unresisted dual STAB combo and high-powered STAB moves in Blizzard and Thunderbolt carves Rotom-F a small niche in the PU metagame. (basically stress it's unique typing and how it's an amazing offensive typing)
  • Its decent Speed allows for it to outspeed some of PU's most common offensive threats such as Magmortar, Mesprit and Skuntank. (you ain't doing shit to magmortar so i think it's a bad mention)
  • Due to the combination of Substitute and Pain Split, Rotom-F can serve as annoyance to some of the best specially defensive Pokemon such as Audino and Clefairy. (due to the rise of the calm mind stealth rock set, i don't think mentioning clefairy is wise. you're absolute set-up bait for this pokemon)
  • On the downside, while its Speed tier is decent, Rotom-F can still be easily revenge killed by commonplace offensive Pokemon such as Archeops and Primeape. (weird one mentioning archeop's purely because stone edge isn't the most common move on it and acrobatics struggles hard against this rotom form. maybe another, more solid answer, would be appropriate)
  • Rotom-F's typing also isn't too solid because it leaves it vulnerable to prevalent Electric-types such as Lanturn and Eelektross.
  • Unfortunately, Rotom-F also sports a Stealth Rock weakness, and lack of reliable recovery outside of Pain Split (pain split isn't classified as reliable recovery), which isn't very reliable, only makes matters worse.
  • Lastly, Rotom-F faces competition from Abomasnow and Aurorus, who boast a 100% accurate Blizzard due to Snow Warning and have an easier time dealing with specially defensive Pokemon that Rotom-F isnt tasked to handle, like Lanturn; however, Rotom-F is able to differentiate itself from the former due to its Speed tier. (i disagree. it's not that rotom-f directly faces competition from anything, it's more that it just struggles because of typing and such. i'm really just not feeling this bullet point)

  • Substitute allows for Rotom-F to capitalize on switches it forces, guards it from status, and allows for it play around Sucker Punch from Pokemon such as Absol, Shiftry, and Skuntank. (also allows it to mess with defensive pokemon, as previously mentioned in the overview)
  • Pain Split, although not the most reliable, gives Rotom-F a form of recovery that annoys bulky Pokemon with high HP stats, and allows for it to stay healthy throughout the match. (something something sub split is a good combo because set name) (maybe reference its low hp stat meaning it can fully abuse pain split)
  • Blizzard is Rotom-F's only Ice-type STAB move. Despite its low accuracy, it is fairly powerful, allowing it to threaten Pokemon that are immune to or resist its Electric-type moves such as Palossand and Eelektross.
  • Thunderbolt is a reliable, fairly strong STAB move that hits a lot of what resists Blizzard for either neutral or super effective damage. (just list a few example)

  • Icium Z turns Blizzard into Subzero Slammer, giving Rotom-F access to a reliable, one-time nuke. (can you possibly expand this and list anything that subzero slammer breaks that blizzard does not?)
Usage Tips
========
  • Rotom-F should avoid switching in on stronger, neutral attacks due to its mediocre bulk, especially if Stealth Rock is up. (expand this point, it's super generic. overall rotom-f shouldn't be directly switching into attacks unless you're certain they cannot do anything)
  • The ideal ways of getting Rotom-F onto the field safely is through U-turn, or after one of its teammates is KOed. (not specifically u-turn, basically any pivoting move. you may have 2 volt switch users) (potentially into very weak attacks or far more passive pokemon like audino)
  • Likewise, Rotom-F can be switched onto predicted Ground-type attacks thanks to Levitate or be hard switched into Stealth Rock setters like Palossand and Blizzard or Volt Switch for momentum as it switches out. (the contrary should be brought up that this is risky as almost all ground-types will have coverage to smack the shit outta rotom-f)
  • Rotom-F should use Substitute against passive Pokemon like Miltank in order to prevent it from being crippled from staus moves like Toxic.
  • Use Pain Split once Rotom-F begins taking damage so that it can remain healthy and switch onto the field comfortably throughout the match.
  • Rotom-F should use Icium Z when it cannot risk the missing Blizzard, or to finish off weakened Pokemon that are out of range of Blizzard.
okay. on the last 3 points i see why you needed help. basically talk about how pain split and substitute can be used to mess with bulkier teams and screw around with more passive pokemon that cannot do enough damage. pokemon with recovery can potentially heal up rotom-f if they recover. talk about how the opponent could predict rotom recovering and go into an already weakened pokemon to either make it lose health or force 50/50s. rotom-f's unique typing also seriously punishes switches as almost nothing wants to deal with its stab combo. the subzero slammer point should also be expanded and then applied to some relevant examples.

Team Options
========
  • Strong physical wallbreakers such as Kingler and Stoutland are ideal partners as they can tear through specially defensive Pokemon such as Clefairy and Lanturn. In return, and Rotom-F is able to deal with physically defensive Pokemon such as Palossand and Weezing for the former. (you list two wallbreakers which absolutely destroy both of these pokemon, which seems kinda weird? i mean they're not bad partners but maybe different examples would be ideal)
(not quite sure i agree with rotom-f being called "weak". it's got a fantastic stab combo and decent special attack. i do get the point though, because chipping lanturn and other specially bulky pokemon is very useful, especially as this directly compliments the subsplit set. basically talk about how hazards chip down these pokemon)
(i'd expand a little on these mons because they all support it more. hitmonchan can beat both lanturn and eelektross which is pretty fucking sweet for rotom-f. yah feel me?)
(both break lanturn and aurorus pressures eelektross a lot. good point though)
  • Pokemon such as Clefairy, Hitmonchan, and Lanturn are appreciated because they can take on Fire-types like Magmortar and Pyroar that Rotom-F struggles against. (i'd maybe slightly mention how clefairy is a shaky check due to taunt. little bit on how rotom-f supports these mons. hitmonchan was already mentioned earlier though)

=============
  • A Choice Scarf set with Blizzard, Thunderbolt, Volt Switch, and Trick can be used to turn Rotom-F into more of a revenge killer, although it much prefers being able to switch moves since both of its STABs are relatively easy to exploit when locked into.
  • Leftovers can be used to give Rotom-F a form of passive recovery if the team its on already has a Z-Crystal in use and doesn't want to deal with Life Orb recoil, but it is weaker without either.
  • Substitute + Will-O-Wisp can be used to cripple physical attackers that attempt to break Rotom-F's Substitute and passive Pokemon, but it has trouble dropping a move for Will-O-Wisp.
  • Thunder Wave provides teams with a form of Speed control, but it also has trouble dropping a move for it.
  • Hidden Power Ground can hit Probopass and Togedemaru for 4x effective damage, but its other moves are more significant and Hidden Power Ground does very little damage to its main counter, Lanturn.
  • Rotom-F can make for a decent offensive user of Defog since it has a positive matchup against common entry hazard setters such as Golurk and Palossand, but the lack of reliable recovery coupled with its weakness to Stealth Rock hampers the viability of such a set.
  • Life Orb is another option that powers up all of Rotom-F's attacks if your team already has a Z-Move user, but keep in mind that this comes with the drawback of recoil with every attack.
basically all of these options near as dammit are inferior and such. apart from that this is fine. hate oo anyways

Checks and Counters
===================

**Specially Defensive Pokemon**: Specially bulky Pokemon such as Audino, Clefairy, Eelektross, Hitmonchan, Lanturn, and Type: Null are all capable of taking at least one attack from Rotom-F and either recovering off the damage or KOing it. Lanturn in particular is annoying for Rotom-F to deal with since it's immune to Thunderbolt and Volt Switch, resists Blizzard, and can stall Rotom-F out with Toxic. Subzero Slammer does put a dent in most of them besides Lanturn and Type: Null, however. (calm mind clefairy uses it as set up bait)

**Revenge Killers**: Rotom-F's only decent Speed tier leaves it outsped and taken care of by common offensive Pokemon such as Archeops, Primeape, Pyroar, and Alolan Raichu. Priority from the likes of Gurdurr, Hitmonchan, Lycanroc, and Shiftry can also pick Rotom-F off if it has taken enough damage beforehand, although it can potentially play around Sucker Punch. (again, archeops is a shaky mention)

**Residual Damage**: Rotom-F's weakness to Stealth Rock, lack of reliable recovery outside of Pain Split, vulnerability to Toxic, usage of Substitute, and potential Life Orb recoil all wear it down rather quickly, meaning that it can have trouble with remaining around. (good section overall tbh)
Implement this and I'll give it another scan over before I stamp this, okay? A solid analysis though.

[OVERVIEW]
  • Rotom-F's unique typing and access to high Special Attack in combination with its amazing offensive typing and high-powered STAB moves in Blizzard and Thunderbolt carves it a niche in the PU metagame.
  • Its decent Speed allows for it to outspeed some of PU's most common offensive threats like Mesprit and Skuntank.
  • Due to the combination of Substitute and Pain Split, Rotom-F can serve as annoyance to some of the best specially defensive Pokemon such as Audino and Type Null.
  • On the downside, while its Speed tier is decent, Rotom-F can still be easily revenge killed by commonplace offensive Pokemon such as Pyroar and Primeape.
  • Rotom-F's typing also isn't too solid because it leaves it vulnerable to prevalent Electric-types such as Lanturn and Eelektross.
  • Unfortunately, Rotom-F also sports a Stealth Rock weakness, and lack of reliable recovery, which only makes matters worse.
  • Lastly, Rotom-F faces competition from Abomasnow and Aurorus, who boast a 100% accurate Blizzard due to Snow Warning and have an easier time dealing with specially defensive Pokemon that Rotom-F struggles against because of its typing, like Lanturn; however, Rotom-F is able to differentiate itself from the former due to its Speed tier.

Moves
========
  • Substitute allows for Rotom-F to capitalize on switches it forces, guards it from status, allows for it play around Sucker Punch from Pokemon such as Absol, Shiftry, and Skuntank, and messes with defensive Pokemon.
  • Pain Split gives a form of reliable recovery to Rotom-F by allowing it to fully abuse bulky Pokemon with high HP stats, thanks to its low HP stat.
  • Blizzard is Rotom-F's only Ice-type STAB move. Despite its low accuracy, it is fairly powerful, allowing it to threaten Pokemon that are immune to or resist its Electric-type moves such as Palossand and Eelektross.
  • Thunderbolt is a reliable, fairly strong STAB move that hits a lot of Pokemon that resists Blizzard for either neutral or super effective damage like Pyroar and Magmortar. (both mentions are neutral, so maybe a water-type mention or something)
Set Details
========
  • Maximum investment in both Special Attack and Speed maximize Rotom-F's offensive capabilities, with a Timid nature allowing it to outspeed Pinsir, Skunktank and Mesprit.
  • Levitate, Rotom-F's only ability, gives it a useful immunity to Ground-type attacks, allowing it to pivot into them if need be.
  • Icium Z turns Blizzard into Subzero Slammer, giving Rotom-F access to a reliable, one-time nuke against weaken foes like Eelektross.
Usage Tips
========
  • Rotom-F should avoid switching into attacks unless resisted because of its mediocre bulk and Stealth Rock weakness.
  • The ideal ways of getting Rotom-F onto the field safely is through pivot moves like U-turn and Volt Switch, or when one of its teammates is KOed.
  • Rotom-F can be switched onto predicted Ground-type attacks thanks to Levitate or be hard switched into Stealth Rock setters like Palossand and Blizzard or Volt Switch for momentum as it switches out; however be wary that almost all Ground-types will have coverage, which may be risky.
  • Rotom-F should use Substitute against bulkier teams with passive Pokemon like Type: Null that cannot do enough damage in return. (type: null breaks the sub. more passive mention needed)
  • Use Pain Split once Rotom-F begins taking damage so that it can remain healthy and switch onto the field comfortably throughout the match. Likwise, Rotom-F should use Pain Split against bulkier Pokemon that have recovery moves like Audino, so it can heal itself up reliably; however, be wary that the opponent could predict Rotom-F using Pain Split and go into an already weakened Pokemon to make Rotom-F weaker and force 50/50s.
  • Rotom-F's unique typing punishes switch-ins as not many Pokemon want to deal with its perfect STAB combo; however it should use Icium Z when it cannot risk the missing Blizzard, or to finish off weakened bulky Pokemon that are out of range of Blizzard such as Type: Null and Eelektross. (again, getting type: null this weak is rare. something different would be nice)
Team Options
========
  • Strong physical wallbreakers such as Kingler and Archeops are ideal partners as they can tear through specially defensive Pokemon such as Clefairy and Lanturn. In return, and Rotom-F is able to deal with physically defensive Pokemon such as Palossand (change to gastrodon) and Weezing for the former.
  • Entry hazard support is appreciated since it Rotom-F fails to break specially defensive Pokemon like Lanturn, thus entry hazard setters such as Mesprit, Ferroseed, and Weezing make for good partners.
Hitmonchan, in particular, comes with the advantage of not removing any potential entry hazards set by Rotom-F's team and checks Lanturn and Eelektross for Rotom-F.
  • Pivots such as Mesprit (change because mes was already mention) and Silvally-Fairy are also good partners because they can get Rotom-F in safely against Pokemon it otherwise would not be able to switch in on.
  • Abomasnow and Aurorus, while not offering much defensive synergy, can make for interesting partners due to Snow Warning increasing Blizzard's accuracy and making it more spammable. The former also wear down Ice-resists from Rotom-F, which gives it an easier time cleaning up.
  • Pokemon such as Clefairy, Hitmonchan (change because hitmonchan has already been mentioned), and Lanturn are appreciated because they can take on Fire-types like Magmortar and Pyroar that Rotom-F struggles against; however, Clefairy is shaky due to Magmortar and Pyroar having access to Taunt.

[OVERVIEW]

Rotom-F is able to distinguish itself from its fellow Electric-types, thanks to its unique typing, and access to powerful STAB attacks in Blizzard and Thunderbolt. Its Speed tier likewise takes into account (not gp, but this doesn't make sense.) because it allows Rotom-F to outspeed notable threats such as Mesprit and Skuntank. Moreover, Rotom-F's access to Substitute and Pain Split enables it to threaten bulkier teams that rely on passive walls like Audino and Type: Null. On the downside, while its Speed tier is better than average, Rotom-F is still easily revenge killed by commonplace offensive Pokemon such as Pyroar and Primeape. Unfortunately, Rotom-F's typing (and lack of coverage options) leaves it walled by prevalent Electric-types such as Lanturn and Eelektross. What's more, Rotom-F sports a Stealth Rock weakness, and this combined with its lack of reliable recovery, and lackluster Defense stat (107 defense is not lacklustre, it's just that it can't make the best use of it due to the low hp + poor defensive typing, which btw you should mention.) can cause it to be worn down fast. Finally, Rotom-F faces competition from Abomasnow and Aurorus, who boast a 100% accurate Blizzard due to Snow Warning and have an easier time dealing with specially defensive Pokemon like Lanturn that Rotom-F isn't tasked to handle.

Moves
========

Substitute enables Rotom-F to capitalize on switches and common bulkier archetypes that utilize Pokemon such as Audino, while simultaneously shielding it from status and forcing mind games with Sucker Punch users. Pain Split gives a form of reliable recovery (earlier, you said that this isn't a reliable form of recovery, which it isn't, so change this part.) to Rotom-F by allowing it to fully abuse (don't say abuse, it has bad connotations.) bulky Pokemon with high HP stats such as.... Blizzard is a powerful STAB move with no drawbacks other than its abysmal accuracy that threatens Pokemon that are immune to or resist its Electric-type moves such as Palossand and Eelektross. Thunderbolt is a reliable STAB attack that hits Pokemon that resist Blizzard such as Pyroar and Kingler. (kingler probably isn't the best example, since it has like 0 spdef.)

Set Details
========

Maximum investment in both Special Attack and Speed maximize Rotom-F's offensive capabilities, with a Timid nature allowing it to outspeed Pinsir, Skunktank, and Mesprit. Levitate gives Rotom-F a useful immunity to Ground-type attacks, thus allowing it to pivot into them throughout the match. (also gives it an immunity to spikes + tspikes.) Icium Z transforms Blizzard into Subzero Slammer, giving Rotom-F access to a reliable, one-time nuke against weakened foes like Eelektross.

Usage Tips
========

Rotom-F can be utilized at any point in a match, whether it be early-game to revenge kill a foe like Swanna or mid-game to annoy bulkier teams with its Substitute + Pain split combo. Use Substitute against bulkier teams with passive Pokemon like Audino, that cannot do enough damage in return to Rotom-F. Similarly, Rotom-F should use Pain Split against bulky Pokemon that have recovery moves like Miltank, in order to heal itself up reliably; however, be wary that the opponent could predict Rotom-F using Pain Split and go into an already weakened Pokemon to make Rotom-F weaker and force mind games. If entry hazards (it's only rocks, since it avoids spikes and tspikes bc of levitate.) are on the field, Rotom-F should avoid switching into attacks, unless resisted. (this point could use a bit of expansion.) Rotom-F can be switched onto predicted Ground-type attacks, thanks to Levitate or be hard switched into Stealth Rock setters like Palossand and Blizzard or Volt Switch for momentum as it switches out; however, be wary that almost all Ground-types will have coverage. Ideal ways of getting Rotom-F onto the field safely is through pivot moves like U-turn and Volt Switch, or when one of its teammates is KOed. Rotom-F can punish many switch-ins with its perfect STAB combo (not perfect, but near unresisted.); however make sure to use Icium Z when you cannot risk missing Blizzard, or to finish off weakened bulky Pokemon that might be out of range of Blizzard such as Eelektross. (it might just be me, but i don't see how these two points connect. each are fine on their own, but they don't make much sense together.)

Team Options
========

Strong physical wallbreakers such as Kingler and Archeops are ideal partners as they can tear through specially defensive Pokemon such as Clefairy and Lanturn. In return, Rotom-F is able to deal with physically defensive Pokemon such as Palossand and Weezing for the former two. (kingler shreds palossand, it just can't switch directly in, so i'd probs give another example of a physical wall.) Entry hazard support is appreciated since Rotom-F fails to break specially defensive Pokemon like Lanturn, (even with them up, lanturn walls you to hell and back.) so entry hazard setters such as Mesprit, Ferroseed, and Weezing pair well with Rotom-F. Mesprit and Weezing, in particular, can check Fighting-types, while Mesprit provides U-turn and Healing Wish support. Additionally, Entry hazard removal is appreciated as Stealth Rock hinders Rotom-F's longevity. Pokemon such as Hitmonchan, Skuntank, and Swanna make for good teammates. Hitmonchan, in particular, comes with the advantage of not removing any potential entry hazards set by Rotom-F's team and checks Lanturn and Eelektross for Rotom-F. Pokemon such as Clefairy and Lanturn are also ideal because they can take on Fire-types like Magmortar and Pyroar that Rotom-F struggles against; however, Clefairy is shaky due to Magmortar and Pyroar having access to Taunt. Lastly, Abomasnow and Aurorus, while not offering much defensive synergy, can make for decent partners due to Snow Warning increasing Blizzard's accuracy and making it more spammable. The former two also wear down Ice-resists from Rotom-F, which gives it an easier time cleaning up.

A Choice Scarf set with Blizzard, Thunderbolt, Volt Switch, and Trick is a viable alternative that can turn Rotom-F into more of a revenge killer, but Rotom-F prefers being able to switch between moves since both of its STABs are relatively easy to exploit when locked into. Additionally, Leftovers can be used to give Rotom-F passive recovery if the team it's on already has a Z-move user. A defensive set with Substitute + Will-O-Wisp allows Rotom-F to cripple physical attackers, nonetheless, Rotom-F has trouble dropping an attack for Will-O-Wisp. Likewise, Thunder Wave provides Rotom-F's team with a form of Speed control, yet Rotom-F additionally experiences difficulty dropping a move for it. While unorthodox (not that unorthodox imo, just not the best option.), Hidden Power Ground can be utilized to hit Probopass and Togedemaru for 4x effective damage, but its other moves are more critical, as Hidden Power Ground does not even chip its main counter, Lanturn. Rotom-F can make for a decent offensive user of Defog since it has a good matchup against common entry hazard setters such as Golurk and Palossand, but the lack of reliable recovery coupled with its weakness to Stealth Rock hampers the viability of such a set. Lastly, Life Orb is an option that powers up Rotom-F's attacks but keep in mind that this comes with the drawback of recoil damage. (this should be, like, after the scarf mention imo, since it gives rotom an easier time breaking and it can use pain split to prevent lo recoil from completely wearing it down.)

Substitute enables Rotom-F to capitalize on switches and common bulkier archetypes that utilize Pokemon such as Audino (RC) while simultaneously shielding it from status and forcing mind games with Sucker Punch users. Pain Split gives Rotom-F a form of recovery to Rotom-F by that allowing allows it to cripple bulky Pokemon with high HP stats. Blizzard is a powerful STAB move with no drawbacks other than its abysmal shaky (only changing bc 70% isn't THAT bad.) (i respectfully disagree but w/e non-issue either way) accuracy that threatens Pokemon that are immune to or resist its Electric-type moves most Electric-resistant and -immune Pokemon such as Palossand (rip palossand) and Eelektross. Thunderbolt is a reliable STAB attack that hits Pokemon that resist Blizzard such as Pyroar and Poliwrath.

Set Details

Maximum investment in both Special Attack and Speed maximizes Rotom-F's offensive capabilities, with a Timid nature allowing it to outspeed Pinsir, Skunktank, and Mesprit.

Usage Tips
========

Rotom-F can be utilized at any point in a match, whether it be early-game to revenge kill a foe like Swanna or mid-game to annoy bulkier teams with its Substitute + Pain split combo combination. Use Substitute against bulkier teams with passive Pokemon like Audino, (RC) that cannot do enough damage in return to Rotom-F. Similarly, Rotom-F should use Pain Split against bulky Pokemon that have recovery moves like Miltank, (RC) (rip miltank) in order to heal itself up reliably; however, be wary that the opponent could predict Rotom-F using Pain Split and go into an already weakened Pokemon to make Rotom-F weaker and force mind games. If Steath Stealth Rock is on the field, Rotom-F should avoid switching into attacks, (RC) unless resisted it resists them because of its poor typing and weakness to Stealth Rock. Rotom-F can be switched onto into predicted Ground-type attacks (RC) thanks to Levitate or be hard switched into Stealth Rock setters like Palossand (rip palossand) and use either Blizzard or Volt Switch (volt switch is nowhere in moves, so add a quick section for it.) for momentum as it switches out; however, be wary that almost all Ground-types will have coverage to hit Rotom-F. The ideal ways of getting Rotom-F onto the field safely is are through pivot moves like U-turn and Volt Switch, (RC) or and when one of its teammates is KOed. Make sure to use Icium Z Subzero Slammer when Rotom-F cannot risk missing Blizzard, (RC) or to finish off weakened bulky Pokemon that might be out of range of Blizzard such as Eelektross.

Team Options
========

Strong physical wallbreakers such as Kingler and Archeops are ideal partners, (AC) as they can tear through specially defensive Pokemon such as Clefairy and Lanturn. In return, Rotom-F is able to deal with physically defensive Pokemon such as Gastrodon and Weezing for the former two. Entry hazard support is appreciated, (AC) since Rotom-F fails to break specially defensive Pokemon like Lanturn, so entry hazard setters such as Mesprit, Ferroseed, and Weezing pair well with Rotom-F. Mesprit and Weezing, in particular, can check Fighting-types, while Mesprit provides U-turn and Healing Wish support. Additionally, entry hazard removal from Pokemon such as Hitmonchan, Skuntank, and Swanna is appreciated, (AC) as Stealth Rock hinders Rotom-F's longevity. Pokemon such as Hitmonchan, Skuntank, and Swanna make for good teammates. Hitmonchan, in particular, checks Lanturn and Eelektross for Rotom-F and comes with the advantage of not removing any potential entry hazards set by Rotom-F's team and checks Lanturn and Eelektross for Rotom-F. The former two also wear down Ice-resists Ice-resistant foes from Rotom-F, which gives it an easier time cleaning up.

Other Options
=============

A Choice Scarf set with Blizzard, Thunderbolt, Volt Switch, and Trick is a viable alternative that can turn Rotom-F into more of a revenge killer, but Rotom-F prefers being able to switch between moves, (AC) since both of its STAB types ("moves" prob) are relatively easy to exploit when locked into. Life Orb is an option that powers up Rotom-F's attacks, (AC) but keep in mind that this comes with the drawback of recoil damage. Additionally, Leftovers can be used to give Rotom-F passive recovery if the team it's on already has a Z-Move user. A defensive set with Substitute + Will-O-Wisp allows Rotom-F to cripple physical attackers, nonetheless, though Rotom-F has trouble dropping an attack for Will-O-Wisp. Likewise, Thunder Wave provides Rotom-F's team with a form of Speed control method of keeping faster Pokemon in check, (speed control works here too, works with any move that affects turn order like twave / icy wind / tailwind / whatever, you've probably seen this change in a context w/ choice scarf users, where "speed control" cannot be used) yet but Rotom-F additionally experiences difficulty dropping a move for it as well. While unorthodox, (again, unorthodox implies 'unusual', and it's not that it is an unusual option. just not a very useful one.) Hidden Power Ground can be utilized used (see overview, this isnt really needed either) to hit Probopass and Togedemaru for 4x super effective damage, but its other moves are more critical, as and Hidden Power Ground does not even chip doesn't deal enough damage to its main counter, (RC) in (also not really needed) Lanturn. Lastly, Rotom-F can make for a decent offensive user of Defog, (AC) since it has a good matchup against common entry hazard setters such as Golurk and Palossand (rip palossand), but the lack of reliable recovery coupled with its weakness to Stealth Rock hampers the viability of such a set.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Specially Defensive Pokemon**: Specially bulky Pokemon such as Audino, Clefairy, Eelektross, Hitmonchan, Lanturn, and Type: Null are all capable of taking at least one attack from Rotom-F and either recovering off the damage or KOing it. Lanturn In particular, Lanturn is annoying for Rotom-F to deal with, (AC) since it's immune to Thunderbolt and Volt Switch, resists Blizzard, and can stall Rotom-F out with Toxic, .(AC, remove period) while Clefairy also can uses Rotom-F as complete set up setup bait with Calm Mind to further boosts its Special Attack and Special Defense.

**Residual Damage**: Rotom-F's weakness to Stealth Rock, lack of reliable recovery outside of Pain Split, vulnerability to Toxic, and usage of ("reliance on" would be less awkward, if that's accurate) Substitute, (RC) all wear leave it worn down rather quickly, meaning that it can have trouble with remaining around.

this is honestly really good and i'm a fan of your eye for prose, just be wary of unneeded minor one-word changes / a couple objective things, lmk if you've got any questions

Furthermore, Rotom-F sports a Stealth Rock weakness, which, (AC) when combined with its lack of reliable recovery, low HP stat, and poor defensive typing, can cause it to be worn down quickly. Finally, Rotom-F faces competition from Abomasnow and Aurorus, which boast a 100% accurate Blizzard due to Snow Warning and have an easier time dealing with specially defensive Pokemon like Lanturn that Rotom-F isn't able to handle.
