Rotom-S functions a little differently to other Rotom formes in that it has less defensive utility due to its worse defensive typing; however, it gets Air Slash and therefore is able to run a threatening sweeper set. As well as this, it is able to set up on Ferrothorn a lot more easily than some other Max Airstream sweepers such as Gyarados. Thunderbolt and Air Slash are Rotom-S's STAB moves, with the latter boosting Rotom-S's Speed whilst Dynamaxed. Nasty Plot is needed to boost Rotom-S's middling Special Attack to threatening levels. The last move is generally Shadow Ball to cover Dragapult and Mimikyu, though Will-O-Wisp and Thunder Wave can provide some utility in matchups where Rotom-S is unable to sweep or is not the primary Dynamax user. A variety of items can be used on Rotom-S, and all aim to increase its damage output. Sharp Beak and Weakness Policy in particular are significant because the former boosts the power of Max Airstream whilst the latter gives Rotom-S the opportunity to sweep with the boosts. A Timid nature is preferred due to allowing Rotom-S to outspeed Dragapult at +1.

Good teammates for Rotom-S include those that can mitigate its Rock-type weakness, specifically from Tyranitar, and break through special walls such as Snorlax. Therefore , Pokemon with strong Fighting-type attacks such as Galarian Darmanitan and Conkeldurr can work well in breaking through these Pokemon. Aside from that, Mimikyu can be a stop to Rotom-S, so Mold Breaker Excadrill is also a decent potential teammate.

I'd probably put Weakness Policy as the 2nd slash in, and directly mention it and Sharp Beak since they're pretty important. Sharp Beak for the extra boost to Max Airstream, and Weakness Policy because Rotom-S is more than capable of sweeping through teams while Dynamaxed with it! You might also want to mention that compared to other Max Airstream sweepers, Rotom-S does a pretty good job of setting up on Ferrothorn, which is pretty unique at the moment!

Otherwise, Rotom-S is probably the simplest Rotom forme to cover, so you got most of the basics, QC Approved 1/2!

I don't have much to add here, but the writeup looks good. As Theorymon mentioned, Rotom-S isn't an overly complex mon, but it is also still an interesting choice in the current meta with Plot + Airstream.

QC 2/2

I want to make the following changes

move 4: Shadow Ball / Will-o-Wisp / Thunder Wave

->

move 4: Dark Pulse / Shadow Ball

The reasoning for this, as I have been reading in Japanese Blogs of why Dark Pulse is generally preferred over shadow ball is because of Max Darkness lowering opponents spdef. Shadow ball is still there sometimes specifically in mimikyu matchup. Twave/WoW which are more niche and can just be mentioned under other options.

Asides form that.

Items:

Sharp Beak / Weakness Policy / Expert Belt / Sitrus Berry

->

Sitrus Berry / Life Orb + (possibly other fat berries/lum)

Sharp beak isn't really a thing any more and there are far better pokemon at taking advantage of WP.

please be familiar with the naming conventions (Rotom-S, not -Fan, which is, admittedly, weird) and also please capitalise stuff like Pokemon on your own
