Rotom-H can serve as an offensive pivot thanks to its acceptable Speed tier when holding a Choice Scarf. Rotom-H is able to switch in on prominent threats such as Zacian-C, Galarian Darmanitan, and Excadrill thanks to its unique typing and ability in Levitate, resisting Fairy-, Steel-, and Ice-type moves while being inmmune to Ground moves. and can threaten them back with super effective moves. Overheat is Rotom-H's strongest attack and targets Steel- an Grass-types, as well as the aforementioned Galarian Darmanitan. Volt Switch targets Gyarados, grants momentum, and provides free switches. Trick shuts down walls whenever speed control is not necessary. Will-O-Wisp cripples physical attackers, while Thunderbolt may be an option to beat bulky Water-types and pressure Corviknight. Choice Scarf is essential to outspeed Zacian-C and Gyarados after one Dragon Dance.

Zacian-C, Dracovish, and offensive Eternatus appreciate the free switch-ins Rotom-H provides. Dracovish in particular can pressure bulky Ground-types so Rotom-H can Volt Switch freely. Rotom-H is weak to Stealth rock, so hazard removers such as Corviknight and Excadrill make for good teammates.
