Welcome to the inaugural edition of the RU room leaderboard invitational!
After four months of grinding room tours in the RU room and showing their prowess, we have 8 competitors who will duke it out in a single elimination invitational.

Specific Rules
  • The format for this tournament is SV RU BO3.
  • Replays are required. Sharing the battle links in the RU room (and in the RU discord) is encouraged!

All standard clauses apply:
  • Sleep Moves Clause: Sleep Moves are not allowed
  • Species Clause: A player cannot have two of the same species of Pokémon on their team, based on the National Pokedex Number. For example, a player cannot have two Koffing on his or her team.
  • Evasion Clause: Players cannot use Double Team or Minimize in any of their Pokémon's movesets.
  • OHKO Clause: Players cannot use Horn Drill, Guillotine, Sheer Cold, or Fissure in any of their Pokémon's movesets.
  • Timer Clause: If a player exhausts the timer, he/she loses.
  • Endless Battle Clause: Any moveset on any pokemon that is capable of intentionally causing an endless battle is banned from competitive play.

Prizes
The prize for winning the invitational consists of the following four things:
1. room prize winner rank for 4 months
2. a special RU discord role for 1 year (until the end of the next iteration)
3. custom join phrase for the RU room for 1 month
4. a profile custom avatar made by Astrø

Heatranator vs hjkhj -- Heatranator improved a lot recently so this is going to be a great series but I'd say hjkhj is still favored given their superior ingame -- 40/60

THE_CHUNGLER vs gooberclimbton3 -- Chungler is the smogon player so he should win this one, gooberclimbton3 is alright but tough draw for them -- 20/80

HoopsspooH vs Txunt! -- let's do something different and bold Txunt here, they have been farming room tours for numerous months and have showed solid level, hoop is a pretty discreet player so I'm not sure where he's at right now part from his incredible research arc. They did qualify during the same month so they probably know each other at least a bit and have faced in room tournaments before so it should be a cool series too. 45/55

Feliburn vs Canard -- I truly want to believe in Canard and I think that he can definitely win here if Feli doesn't play at 100% of his capacities/motivation (which is pretty likely) but Canard being a one-trick poney means an experienced player such as Feli should never lose against him in theory 60/40
 
Heatranator vs hjkhj If I pull this one out of my ass, I will be so happy. But that ain't ever happening in a million years. Coughing baby vs hydrogen bomb moment matchup, and I am the baby.
 
Heatranator vs hjkhj -- hjkhj winning is the likeliest outcome but i believe in the GOAT and it's not over till it's over
THE_CHUNGLER vs gooberclimbton3 -- the strongest tour farmer in history vs the strongest tour farmer of today, very bad roll for gooberclimbton unfort, 80/20
HoopsspooH vs Txunt! -- two players with a very solid level imo, will be very interesting, 50/50
