predicts???

Team Liquidations (4) vs Sassy Stantlers (4)

SV: toinha vs eternal spirit: never predicting against Gama even if I look stupid doing so about half the time
SV: FlamingoPokeman vs Seed Sower : somehow willed a Suicune that won at preview into a losing position I'm not going against that
SV: TomatoZause vs Corperate n : neither of them can spell but I am going with the slight upset here
SS: xXcrossbowXx vs HaxxSel : solid SM fundamentals that I think translate well here with solid team choices (I only saw his semi game)
SM: TyCarter vs lpz: Plays the gen regularly, though I think this is fairly close
ORAS: Oathkeeper vs Miyami~~~ : Strong oras cook, probably the teams I look forward to seeing the most every week
BW: neomon vs Sneakyplanner: close, but I think sneaky has a bit too much honesty in her, whereas neomon has shown a deep interest in using the Dark Arts
ADV: Queen of Bean vs Tack : I have heard from various sources that she is indeed Quoat of Boat, though Tack is someone I really value and think could pull the upset next Sunday at 11:50pm - 4

ADV: Queen of Bean vs Tack

Honestly I forgot what my record is rn but idt it matters, I think this is a match i've wanted to see for a while. Queen of Bean has been dominant through the entire season and if she caps it off with a win thatd be such a cherry on top to the phenomenal record, I believe QoB to have the more dominant experience factor here, while Tack is a skilled player QoB has an edge by building for herself. I don't think I've seen Tack build for RUGL in ADV while they had to play BW. QoB has a big momentum streak and I think it all accumulates to QoB leaving 7-2. But we'll see. I might commentate over this match with some other people for RUtube, very excited to see this one. I'm glad to have partook in predicts, this has been very fun seeing this whole season unfold.

Team Liquidations (4) vs Sassy Stantlers (4)

SV: toinha vs Eternam Spirit one loss doesn’t erase all of toinha’s great success this tour.
SV: FlamingoPokeman vs Seed Sower SEEEED proved me wrong last week and good on him, but he has to beat FLAMINGOPOKEMON, who is at the top of the mountain right now and has an off week before ZUPL starts.
SV: TomatoZause vs Corperate n Has potential to be the best match of this finals. Zause will be locked in just like his teammates, but faces arguably the Stampede’s toughest SV.
SS: xXcrossbowXx vs HaxxSel This should be a fun one. Both have shown up and who knows who takes it? Xbow should be confident that even if he doesn’t win, the team he helped build is strong enough to win.
SM: TyCarter vs LpZ this may be the hardest week to bold Ty vs likely the best overall player on the stantlers (and maybe the whole tour), but he has wowed recently in SM and that’s enough for me.
ORAS: Oathkeeper vs Miyami~~~ Miyami seems very comfortable picking outside of the box to abuse the standard ORAS cores with something the opponent doesn’t expect. Very excited to see what she’ll bring and how Oath will counter.
BW: neomon vs Sneakyplanner the Sneaker has played great in the bw slot outside of maybe 1 week, and I’ve seen some of her recent SV games too, she appears to be locked in.
ADV: Queen of Bean vs Tack great matchup, QoB is one of team liquidation’s best.

Late predicts and Haxxsel might hurt me if I don't post them

Team Liquidations (4) vs Sassy Stantlers (4)

SV: toinha vs Eternam Spirit --> Toinha seems more comfortable in the tier, altho I found their team very honest last week in the post shifts meta, I still think they have the edge here. 60-40

SV: FlamPoke vs Seed Sower --> Both main the tier so it should be an interesting game and I'm hoping to see more than just 5 setup sweepers in one team, I'm bolding FP because I think their in-game is more solid and it show in his overall record. 70-30

SV: TomatoZause vs Corperate n --> Also a cool matchup and despite zause's perfect record, Corp impressed me more during this tour so I'm pretty confident they have what it takes to break the perfect. I'm not entirely sure of zause's involvement in the new meta and honestly I don't think extreme structures like stall and HO will work that well against an experienced player such as Corp. 40-60

SS: xXcrossbowXx vs HaxxSel --> That's a game I definitely want to watch between the two top SS players of the tour which is super hype. Important to note that crossbow won in week 2 so they might be the favorite here, but alas I can't not bold my guy Haxxsel because I fully trust him and I know he very often delivers for these high pressure games. 45-55

SM: TyCarter vs LpZ --> LpZ hasn't lost for five entire weeks on this slot and I don't expect it to happen now. LpZ is an excellent player and there are very few I would feel comfortable bolding against them. 30-70

ORAS: Oathkeeper vs Miyami~~~ --> Same record for both players and I think they both are quite motivated by the tier and know it nearly perfectly so this might be the most even matchup we have this week in my opinion. Miyami has been bolded twice in the other predictions so I'm bolding Oath. 50-50

BW: neomon vs Sneakyplanner --> Sneaky has been popping off on that slot for a few weeks now so I'm confident she can win this game as well. Not too familiar with neomon so can't really judge their in-game and team choices. 40-60

ADV: Queen of Bean vs Tack --> I'm not bolding anyone against QoB in ADV, she's the goat and is probably the player I enjoyed watching the games the most in this tournament so far. Her in-game is more on point since she knows this tier extremely well and the teams she brings reflect this as well. 70-30

it's boring every predictions end up in 4-4 so hmm, Oath-Miyami being the most volatile matchup I predict the Stantlers to win this first RUGL bop. If it comes down to a tiebreaker, Team Liquidations is probably winning tho since their SV is better and they have a very strong ADV slot.

No predictions format, unviable unfortunately :(

:araquanid: Team Liquidations (2) vs Sassy Stantlers (1) :stantler:

SV: toinha vs Corperate n This for me is the deciding match, whoever wins this wins the tour. toinha is a harder scout with insane builders behind him.

SS: xXcrossbowXx vs LpZ I get to bold LpZ cause I bolded against him last week and somehow got it right. It will be tough to play against Crossbow and Mac3 support.

ORAS: neomon vs Miyami~~~ neomon and Miyami will both be absolutely ruthless. This is the match where the razor blades will be brought out from both sides. I don’t know what I mean by that either but it feels right

:araquanid: Team Liquidations (1) vs Sassy Stantlers (2) :stantler:

SV: toinha vs Corperaten: alongside a very few other people, these two have just been the best SV players throughout the whole tournament. However, I have a feeling that despite Corp absolutely killing it and being in a shape that I've rarely seen him in, I don't really think toinha is being stoppable whatsoever at this point. Not sure how to explain.

SS: xXcrossbowXx vs LpZ: might be a hot take but to me LpZ is simply one of the best and most consistent players on the site currently. No matter the tier nor the generation, he's a real machine that farms wins wherever he goes. See him playing... SS? is lowkey weird, but as I said he always manages to do his thing right. Although Crossbow has been doing really great and is - kinda surprisingly, I never really saw him play outside SM - surely the best SS of the tour, I'd give a slight edge to LpZ. This will be a heat match, for God's sake please bring teams that won't make us discussing a deletion of this gen. Capy, é hora de lembrar pq eu digo q vc é o goat do 2024.

ORAS: neomon vs Miyami~~~: watching neo play ORAS feels like a throwback right into 2020 (I was not around), this is a brutal game we're gonna have right there. See, some of y'all may be doubting Neo, being that he's had a tough season in BW, but don't forget that any mf out there signing up before 2020 is automatically good at ORAS, I don't know why is that, but it is. I'm ngl I know nothing about his ORAS skills just wanted to throw it in front of yo eyes. (edit: neo can bring crazy things, this was the most useless edit but I'm here to hype the ORAS gaming)
I'll take this opportunity to give props to Miyami for turning into a very strange and rare but wanted species that I thought was gone for too long: an ORAS builder. This joke can cost me the waste of my longevity on Smogon so let's get right into the real business. It has been refreshing for me to see someone being truly invested in ORAS this whole tour, trying some - well, maybe not so new but still - stuff by herself instead of downloading omastar_glalie.txt into regimolavenu_no_knock_resist.txt for 7 weeks and then yapping about this tier being solved. The variety in her mons choices is something I absolutely love in any player. I don't necessarily think this is what will make THE difference but I hope it would at least give us something that we're slowly losing in ORAS: fun and originality.

This is the match where the razor blades will be brought out from both sides. I don’t know what I mean by that either
Chungler, this is what we call a "fight" in Bleach, 2001.

Through writing these predictions, it kinda made me realize that this tiebreak looks as saucy as a damn West African dish. Six of the best players in the whole tour, some of them having already mastered their craft, half of this in zoomers gens, what else can we ask for? Ah yeah, please play at viable European times. Do you donuts have any idea how important we are to ourselves???

Hoping for my Stantlers' friends to win this. اِن شاء الله اتى وقتك Tsuki <3
