Noble Guardians (5) vs (3) Crunchwrap Supreme Overlord Juniors

SV - umbry vs Kushalos (60-40): As much as I have always been a huge fan of Kushalos and someone I consider to be a close friend of mine, umbry has been having a terrific season and this match banks on Kushalos bringing the best dish he has cooked this tour, which can either be a banger or a bust. I think umbry is more consistent as a player but other than this I am rooting for my friend.

SV - frankjosh vs avarice (55-45): frankjosh's perfomance in the tour made me a fan of him, he's consistent and has a good grasp of the tier. I initially had my doubts after the draft, but he has proven me wrong. Avarice is also very consistent as a player but he does have a bit of a trend in his teams and this is why I'm leaning a bit towards the former.

SV - Lily vs hjkhj (30-70): Lily made Mew a trash mon to an actual threat in the tier, but hjkhj is a far more consistent builder and a very consistent player.

SS - Attribute vs Fogbound Lake (70-30): I am never not bolding Attribute in SS, he's a stellar player and a builder, and while Fogbound is also very consistent, the metagame knowledge of Attribute leans me to bold him.

SM - Gondra vs Denial (40-60): Both amazing players, but Averardo has been playing this for a long time, and she has more metagame knowledge if her motivation is good (which should be since this is RUPL finals).

ORAS - Cielau vs Yay (60-40): I liked Cielau's game vs Floss last round, as a player he has the edge. This matchup is going to be pure matchup fishing.

BW - Piyu vs ninjadog (55-45): If you asked me 2 weeks ago, I'd bold ninjadog in a heartbeat. Piyu is owning this cursed tier, and this will be a classic better player vs better builder type of matchup.

BO3 - Punny vs mncmt (45-55): Both phenomenal players, but I think mence has the edge slightly mainly because I liked the teams he have used so far.

Very hype finals, happy to see this tour come to a satisfying end and even more happy to have been a part of it, so here are some simple predicts, and thanks kab you are also beautiful and gorgeous!

Noble Guardians (4) vs (4) Crunchwrap Supreme Overlord Juniors
SV - umbry vs Kushalos
SV - frankjosh vs avarice
SV - Lily vs hjkhj
SS - Attribute vs Fogbound Lake
SM - Gondra vs Denial
ORAS - Cielau vs Yay
BW - Piyu vs ninjadog
BO3 - Punny vs mncmt

SV - umbry vs Kushalos - Clutchalos in another final after all these years, what year is it? Gawddamn. Umbry has looked untouchable and terrifyingly consistent but on a bo1 and how the right call can make the whole difference in this metagame I believe Kushalos has a solid chance, just gotta ride that clutch spirit tbh

SV - frankjosh vs avarice - This game is all about momentum and letting that momentum build your confidence to a point you are gonna be making the wildest plays work. Frankjosh has that momentum so I believe he can take this game pretty convincingly

SV - Lily vs hjkhj - Uuufff, aint this the ugliest damsel you could get on the dance hall. hjkhj can be a terrifying player given his consistency and just how hjkhj he is just not a one-trick pony capable of using anything. Lily has an extremely rough one on her hands, would be quite the upset if she pulls this tbh, could lead to a team victory. hjkhj is the bold on this one but I do love me some upsets

SS - Attribute vs Fogbound Lake - Awful tier, Attribute manages to be one of the most consistents players on it with notable handling of a lot of things. I believe he should take this one solidly

SM - Gondra vs Denial - It seems that I been out of the blue when it comes about name changes, and it seems this one can definitely tell a story. Nosiness aside, Averardo in SM is a pretty tough rock to crack all things considered (even tho one doesnt like running fire resists for whatever reason). Gondra can pull this off, but the bold definitely goes for the other lane

ORAS - Cielau vs Yay - On the least matchup reliant metagame of this whole list, a proper build and route planning will be key. Both approach will be pretty safe, probably looking for some form of consistent win conditions. In those situations I believe both players can handle these type of builds, but on a bo1 in these instances the experience is everything and I believe Yay has a good edge of experience playing ORAS RU in finals. I believe history and coincidence for another chance at a trophy will make Yay want to play his part more than ever, I will bold him here

BW - Piyu vs ninjadog - ninjadog is honestly one of the most consistent in this whole mess of a tier. At least the selection of mons are fun but I believe in the experience and control ninjadog has on this tier

BO3 - Punny vs mncmt - Predicting against Lord Punny in a bo3 in finals? mncmt is goated but Punny is slightly better imo in 2 out of 3 tiers so I believe this will be a complete bo3 all the way until an awful close gen7ru game. I give Punny the slight edge

Rooting for Yay´s team. I took away a chance for him to be having a crown, hopes he gets it now.

the predictions down below have been written for entertainment and haha laughing purposes pls dont jump me gang

SV - umbry vs Kushalos -> bolding against umbry straight forward sounds a bit insane and at the same time kush is just too good at RU gaming, surely the only game where I wouldn't be able to decide on a winner, this is the most exciting SV game among those three imo
SV - frankjosh vs avarice -> (i lied) I very much regret that frankjosh does not have tiramisu as their smogon pfp, otherwise I'd have bolded them
SV - Lily vs hjkhj -> I'm a big fan of both gamers but I got too many funny standings for hjk's name
SS - Attribute vs Fogbound Lake -> this tier has turned into a fucking awfully disgusting piece of not enough burned beef tongue mixed with some weird cunt donkey shit HOWEVER I like attribute and I think he's just the best SS we've had this season so here u go big boys
SM - Gondra vs Denial -> Luna once said I was bad I can't ever forgive this
ORAS - Cielau vs Yay -> trust the process
BW - Piyu vs ninjadog -> this game should be closer than we could think but ninja has lowkey been pretty much unbeatable yet (yes this is the only serious prediction right here)

this looks like a very great finals with busted players which is everything we could've asked for. I'll be rooting for the Guardians this time!

We did it team wooooo :))) 12 weeks later! This has been an exhausting tour, from a certain unnamed 9-1 player forgetting the name of the current gen in his signup to being forced to fight through tiebreaks in both semis and finals. It's also been super rewarding though. Learning SV RU has been super fun, and as always I've been super glad to have Ming549 TsuShirogane leading RUtube + everyone else that has posted predicts throughout the season. Y'all made it entertaining and worth it to fight so hard, and I'm glad people enjoyed watching and following.

Shoutout to our playoff opponents too (though I recognize it's a bit corny). Guardians and Hustlers, you both pushed us to our absolute limit and either of you would've been deserving winners. Scouting for and playing against yall gave me an appreciation for how good the talent at the top of your lineups was, and how creative you were with your SV building approaches. Thanks for being gracious about my players somehow never showing up on time. To the Guardians in particular, sorry I was a pain when it came to scheduling the Umbry-Kush tiebreak game.

shoutouts to our guys below:
mncmt: Nah, we'd win. Had a blast running it back with you this tour too... SCL next? You're super funny and a massive troll but also a very talented player, and you dominated SV and SM all season. Despite not really being thought of as a RU player you came up with 2 amazing wins, saving our season vs Beraldo in an incredibly well played bo3 and taking down Attribute, who has been on fire in SS, to win the tour. As always, you also balance out my tryharding and keep the ship going steady when things get tough, and we def needed that because EVERYONE ON THIS TEAM HATES WHEN I TAG THEM. UNGRATEFUL ASSHOLES

Kushalos You're amazing, nothing else to say. Your ability to build and pilot SV RU is just 10/10, no notes. You came a long way from the Void paraspam... with no mainers we all had to learn the tier together and you absolutely led the way on that. Your support in other slots was also excellent, and despite carrying the team you always stayed patient with people who were struggling. Thanks for caring as much as you did, depriving you off a trophy after 9 wins wouldve been horrible so congrats :)

ninjadog Awesome job this tour. We had you down for about 15k in the draft plan so getting you at 9k was awesome and gave me a lot of confidence in the team. I appreciate u somehow having almost 0 "bw moments" all tour. We gave you like 8 teams to choose from in finals tb LMFAO and you made an excellent choice. Even though u trolled on occasion your ceiling is incredible, your play against GoldCat in particular stood out as being flawless

hjkhj THE PEOPLES CHAMP!!! Thank u for giving RU a reason to root for us by being our only RU community representation. For your first time starting, going positive alone would be great, but you did well enough to go in tiebreak and then saved our season in a deciding game, 1-1 at semis tiebreak. You shed the label of "stall mainer" and piloted basically every style. Bonus points for winning in insane ways, I remember being mad as hell half-watching the week 7 terrain game in a furniture store and then you somehow swept with an alcremie. Excited to see what you accomplish going forward!

Denial I know you had a disappointing season but enjoy retirement:) your dominant 3-0 start showed everyone what you're capable of and I don't have any regrets about drafting u (win or lose). Thanks for providing lots of ORAS support early on too, and advising us to draft hjkhj as well. ZERO thanks for your sv "support" though:mad:

Fogbound Lake: Teaming with u was funny as hell tbh LMAO you asking to stall, being mad when i was against it, then stalling 3 straight weeks with THE SAME STALL and winning 2 of them. Then somehow building your own teams, all of which were really intelligently made.... which I'd appreciate more if you ever posted the pastes. Regardless, your huge win in semis kept us alive and you played great in the epic finals match. Thanks for sliding into SS and letting kush SV in the first place too

avarice another RU ring yayy:) thanks for being active with tests and juggling + keeping ORAS afloat in the regular season. Your semis win was also super important, breaking our 0-7 SV3 streak was massive. And somehow you weren't the most annoying scheduler on our team:)) so glad we got u a new experience this tour.

Yay congratulations! i cant say enough about how big that finals win was. Very glad u got to make up for the semis game which ik you were upset about. it was disappointing to have much less activity from you this year than in 2022 rupl. however I'm glad you stepped it up when asked in the playoffs and that we got to finish our journey from back then. Thanks for actually answering my q&as too i felt very lonely otherwise.

hellom i def sabotaged u a bit by not providing too much mainer support in the early weeks of SV. Glad we figured the meta out eventually but sry u had to be a guinea pig. Thank u for giving Kushalos some of your 10-1 blessing too. Also thanks for these screenshots because i was laughing at it randomly for like a week

olivebranch custom coming up :row:ty for the team name suggestion it's been very fun! and thanks for motivating me to learn sv ru for tests and laddering sessions this tour. sorry you got ROBBED with awful matchup in your games but your revenge will come someday.....

LBN thank you for all the help and discussions throughout the season! Really appreciated having u around to share some of your many, many ideas. I do think you can be a little abrasive/agressive and sometimes are too absolutist in ur meta takes. However you are a very helpful and dedicated teammate and it's a shame you weren't drafted this tour. I hope the budget is tweaked next RUPL -- I would def draft/vouch for you in the future and am proudly on team #FreeLBN

after starting in RU in like 2014 and returning to it when SS came out, it's very rewarding to finally win a team tour here. thanks for the fun ride crunchwraps!!

Congratulations, your name is way too long but it made me hungry so I guess that's a good in bad

Regardless of who won, I would like to thank both Attribute and mncmt for playing an entertaining SS game with cool teams, which has been something rare enough this year to be mentioned. Props to you guys. I particularly liked your season a lot Attribute, losing on the final step surely sucks but following you through it all has been a pleasure, hope to see you play this in a future tour. Here I come with a gift:
