[SET COMMENTS]
Sableye is a good pick for Dark teams thanks to its Fighting immunity, spinblocking prowess, and ability to pester opposing teams with a wide array of status moves. Night Shade provides a consistent form of damage, preventing Sableye from being too passive, as well as letting it deal with Zamazenta one-on-one. Prankster Will-O-Wisp shuts down Physical attackers, such as Sneasler, Excadrill, and Urshifu-R, regardless of their Speed. Encore locks foes into passive moves, such as Recover and Roost, as well as setup moves such as Dragon Dance and Iron Defense, usually forcing a switch thereafter. Thunder Wave is an alternative option that can be used to slow down opposing Pokemon in order to make Dark's threatening breakers, such as Choice Specs Greninja, outspeed faster foes, such as Dragapult and Choice Scarf Enamorus.
Ting-Lu is a great teammate for Sableye, as it can supply a multitude of entry hazards in the form of Spikes and Stealth Rock. Coupled with Sableye's Rapid Spin immunity, some teams will have a very difficult time removing entry hazards as long as Sableye is around. Alolan Muk is another fantastic teammate for Sableye, as its Poison typing is key when it comes to dealing with Fairy-types, such as Hatterene and Primarina. Bisharp can utilize Swords Dance to help deal with bulkier Pokemon, such as Galarian Weezing and Toxapex, and pick off Flutter Mane via Sucker Punch. Bisharp can prevent hazard removal as well, as its Defiant ability will make foes think twice about using Defog. Strong wallbreakers such as Choice Specs Greninja, Darkrai, and Hydreigon are good teammates, as are Choice Scarf Hoopa-U and Meowscarada; the pressure applied by entry hazards makes it incredibly difficult for defensive Pokemon, such as Clodsire and Archaludon, to switch in repeatedly. Furthermore, they can deal with Pokemon that Sableye is largely ineffective against, such as Hatterene, Gholdengo, and opposing Dark-types. In return, Sableye can switch in on threatening Fighting-type attacks from Pokemon such as Zamazenta, Skarmory, and Corviknight.
