Sableye

The Dovahneer

UPL Champion
[OVERVIEW]

* Decent bulk and typing combined with a rare ability in Magic Bounce allow it to function as anti-hazard support as well as a defensive check to many Pokemon such as Dusk Mane Necrozma, Deoxys-A, Marshadow, Ultra Necrozma and passive Pokemon who either can't break past Mega Sableye's bulk or who primarily rely on toxic for damage.
* Being one of the few defensive megas and the bulkiest Magic Bounce user let it find use on stall and balance teams which appreciate the ability to bounce back entry hazards and Toxic.
* Fake Out combined with Magic Bounce allows it to anti-lead many suicide leads and break their Focus Sashes, however keep in mind almost all of them possess some tech options to beat Mega Sableye such as Deoxys-S' Skill Swap, Excadrill's Mold Breaker, and Cloyster's powerful offenses with Shell Smash.
* Mega Sableye's bulk, while decent, is let down by it's poor base 50 HP stat. This allows Primal Groudon, the most popular Stealth Rock user in the tier, to overwhelm it with Precipice Blades and Overheat.

Moves
========

* Fake Out provides menial chip damage and allows Sableye to mega evolve freely as it is almost useless in base forme.
* Foul Play gives you meaningful damage output and allows you to prevent Pokemon such as Dusk Mane Necrozma or other physically offensive threats from setting up on you.
* Toxic gives Mega Sableye a way to beat support Arceus and other bulky Pokemon which otherwise simply recover off the damage from Foul Play and burns.
* Will-O-Wisp is an option over Toxic to cripple physical attackers and provide chip damage to Steel Types such as Dusk Mane Necrozma or Ferrothorn.
* Recover gives Mega Sableye longevity and without it Mega Sableye will get chipped down easily and be effectively useless.

Set Details
========

* Max HP and Defense with Bold allow it to hard check Dusk Mane Necrozma, only losing to a +2 Searing Sunrase Smash.
* A spread of 252 HP/ 24 Def / 232 SpD can be used if things such as Deoxys-A or other special attackers are a concern however keep in mind you'll lose to Dusk Mane Necrozma and Marshadow.

Usage Tips
========

* Mega evolve as soon as possible as without the stat boosts and Magic Bounce Sableye is basically useless. Leading with Fake Out lets you evolve turn one and is usually the best idea, however keep in mind that most dedicated leads have tech against Magic Bounce and you take 86.8 - 102.6% from 0 SpA Primal Groudon Overheats, however if you survive you can recover off the damage due to the SpA drop.
* Switch Mega Sableye in on things such as support Pokemon with neutral or resisted attacks or walls to turn their annoying status against them and stall them out. Things such as Lugia, Chansey, and some support Arceus are excellent targets for this.
* Using Toxic often allows you to spread a lot of status as Mega Sableye tends to force switches versus the aforementioned passive walls and support Pokemon. If you run Will-O-Wisp then using it often can allow bulky support Pokemon to stall you out, so spamming that isn't advised.
* Spamming Recover versus
