Dragon Temple Proving Grounds
Seated at the base a soaring pillar mountain, this reclusive temple houses several Orders of monks dedicated to perfecting the art of training Dragon-type Pokemon. The temple boasts a long history and asserts itself in the pedigree of many world-renowned Dragon-type trainers, such as Indigo Plateau's very own Lance.
While people do sometimes travel here hoping to join the various Orders of monks, many more pass through the temple to attempt the ascent. The mountain plays host to the Dragon's Might Challenge: A succession of battles, overseen by the different monk Orders, that test the aspirant's aptitude at catching, wielding, and battling Dragon-type Pokemon. Depending on their performance, the monks will judge them worthy of training increasingly more powerful Dragon-type Pokemon.
Habitat Info:
Trek 1: Ordeal of the Fang
The might and savagery of the Dragon-type is exemplified by the ferocious Order of the Fang. In their ordeal, aspirants must balance on wooden stakes, protruding high above the battlefield below. As the aspirant's Pokemon battles the Dragons, more and more stakes will be toppled, until the aspirant has nowhere to stand.
The battlefield starts with 200 stakes.
When a Pokemon takes damage from an attack: Destroy that many stakes.
When the last stake is destroyed: The explorer loses the battle.
Camouflage: Grass | Nature Power: Dragon Hammer | Secret Power: Inflict the condition created by Ingrain on the defender
Wild Items:

Level 2
Typing: Bug/Dragon
Abilities: Neutralizing Gas, Hyper Cutter Hidden Ability: Compound Eyes
Con.Reward: 10 pooled EXP

The Pokemon can't help but pick up every piece of food they find.
Between Treks: Select two Berries at random from among all Berries. (They can be the same.) Add fresh copies of the selected Berries to the explorer's backpack.
Capture Assist: Accurate Captures
The Pokemon expertly distracts wild Pokemon, making it easier to throw Poke Balls at them.
The lower bound of the explorer's Fatigue Rolls, except for Poke Balls and Great Balls, is increased by 50%.
The upper bound of the explorer's Fatigue Rolls, except for Poke Balls and Great Balls, is at least the lower bound plus three (+3).

[Following the scent of abandoned lunches from past challengers, the Miasmaw enters into view, picking at the scattered and trampled berries on the ground. It looks up! And sees... fresh meat... Hungry, it skitters forth, huge tail behind it swaying violently, desperately, as it charges what is sure to be another weak-willed trainer!]
