PU Salazzle

Pengu

just stretching <3
is a Top Team Rater
Salazzle @ Heavy-Duty Boots / Focus Sash
Ability: Corrosion
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
IVs: 0 Atk
Tera Type: Ground
Timid Nature
- Nasty Plot
- Flamethrower
- Sludge Bomb
- Tera Blast

Salazzle blasts its way through PU! Salazzle is able to outspeed almost the entire unboosted metagame as well as boosted threats such as Choice Scarf Hisuian Decidueye. Salazzle can take advantage of Florges to set up with Nasty Plot. Tera Blast Ground can threaten Rhydon, Bellibolt, and opposing Salazzle. With Heavy-Duty Boots, Salazzle can ignore entry hazards set by foes like Gastrodon and Coalossal. Focus Sash grants Salazzle a guaranteed turn of set up or damage to help with its frailty, but it should only be used on hyper offense. Salazzle struggles to break through bulky Water-types such as Gastrodon, so allies that can hit them hard like Decidueye can be helpful. Slow pivots that can help Salazzle get in safely like Bellibolt and Hisuian Decidueye can be good. Salazzle is able to threaten Pokemon like Alolan Sandslash for both Decidueye formes while also beating out Zoroark. Salazzle can also threaten foes like Rhydon with Tera Ground Tera Blast, assisting Bellibolt.

Salazzle blasts its way through PU! With Heavy-Duty Boots, Salazzle can ignore hazards such as Stealth Rock and Spikes set by foes like Gastrodon and Coalossal. Focus Sash grants Salazzle a guaranteed turn of set up or damage, due to its fragility. (While the content here is overall good, I would add a few things that Sash allows Salazzle to set up on it otherwise really couldnt (stuff like golurk comes to mind here, and how its mostly a HO item. Also, this should go after the section on moves.) Nasty Plot powers up Salazzle, allowing it to OHKO bulky threats, including the likes of Florges and Assault Vest Copperajah. (Mostly filler.) Flamethrower and Sludge Wave are powerful STAB options, while Tera Blast paired with Tera Ground can threaten Arcanine, Bellibolt, and opposing Salazzle. (Not a fan of the K9 Example here cause its still taking alot from sludge / rocks chip + honestly it will just espeed you. Would mention a Poison resist here in this place, like say Rhydon or Qwilfish.) Tera Ground struggles to succeed as a defensive typing (I wouldnt say struggles? I mean, the volt immunity is super helpful and the psychic neutrality is also good. I would rather say "is still a bit lacking" over flat out saying it struggles.), still being weak to Water-types. Salazzle struggles to break through bulky Water-types such as Gastrodon, so allies that can hit them hard like Decidueye can be helpful in accompanying Salazzle. Slow pivots that can help Salazzle get in safely like Bellibolt (mention another example here) can be a good help, as Salazzle is very frail. (You probably want to mention a thign salazzle can do for its teammates back, example threaten Pokemon like Zoro and Alolaslash for deci.)

1/1 after this, nice work

Tera Type: Ground
Timid Nature
- Nasty Plot
- Flamethrower
- Sludge Wave (it's really minor, but can you put sludge bomb over sludge wave? the damage difference isn't a huge deal, but bomb's higher poison chance can be really valuable for chipping things into KO range or just poisoning a counter like coalossal.)
- Tera Blast

Salazzle blasts its way through PU! Flamethrower and Sludge Wave are powerful STAB options, while Tera Blast paired with Tera Ground can threaten Rhydon, Bellibolt, and opposing Salazzle. With Heavy-Duty Boots, Salazzle can ignore hazards such as Stealth Rock and Spikes set by foes like Gastrodon and Coalossal. Focus Sash grants Salazzle a guaranteed turn of set up or damage, due to its fragility. (explain that salazzle should only run focus sash on HO.) Tera Ground is a bit lacking as a defensive typing, still being weak to Water-types. (this isn't super important, tera ground is only used bc of tb and not for any defensive properties.) Salazzle struggles to break through bulky Water-types such as Gastrodon, so allies that can hit them hard like Decidueye can be helpful in accompanying Salazzle. Slow pivots that can help Salazzle get in safely like Bellibolt and Decidueye-Hisui can be a good help, as Salazzle is very frail. Salazzle is able to threaten Pokemon like Sandslash-Alola for both Decidueye formes, while also beating out Zoroark. Salazzle can also threaten foes like Rhydon with Tera Ground Tera Blast, assisting Bellibolt.

100% you need to touch on salazzle's speed at the beginning, it wouldn't be nearly as threatening if it didn't outrun almost the entire unboosted metagame (and even choice scarf decidueye-h, which you should also mention bc that's a v important speed tier rn). naturally exploiting common defensive pieces like florges and frosmoth is also big and gives salazzle opportunities to set up despite its poor bulk.
I just had some extra comments to make before this moves to GP, could you ping me when you implement this Pengu?

Salazzle blasts its way through PU! Salazzle is able to outspeed almost the entire unboosted metagame (remove comma) as well as boosted threats such as Choice Scarf Hisuian Decidueye. Salazzle can abuse defensive pieces.like take advantage of Florges to set up with Nasty Plot. Flamethrower and Sludge Wave are powerful STAB options, while (dex info. btw, you put sludge bomb in the set and wave here) Tera Blast Ground paired with Tera Ground can threaten Rhydon, Bellibolt, and opposing Salazzle. With Heavy-Duty Boots, Salazzle can ignore entry hazards such as Stealth Rock and Spikes set by foes like Gastrodon and Coalossal. Focus Sash grants Salazzle a guaranteed turn of set up or damage to help with its frailty, but it should only be used on hyper offense. due to its fragility. Salazzle should only run Focus Sash on hyper-offense teams. Salazzle struggles to break through bulky Water-types such as Gastrodon, so allies that can hit them hard like Decidueye can be helpful in accompanying Salazzle. Slow pivots that can help Salazzle get in safely like Bellibolt and Hisuian Decidueye -Hisui can be good a good help (remove comma; frailty was mentioned just a sec ago) as Salazzle is very frail. Salazzle is able to threaten Pokemon like Alolan Sandslash-Alola for both Decidueye formes (remove comma) while also beating out Zoroark. Salazzle can also threaten foes like Rhydon with Tera Ground Tera Blast, assisting Bellibolt.
