PROOF OF PEAK (Brutal Legend)
Background:
So I wanted to use ttar with garg for the sp def boost and gave ttar some mix coverage and my SR setter while garg was able to curse up and get the sp def boost while setting up then I wanted a good defensive core to help so I decided on Moltres as my ground immunity and help the teams bulk with wilo wisp and made Moltres fully defensive, lately I've been using AV glowking for my special wall and help deal with iron moth and Zamazenta, but overall checks a lot of special attackers and a chance to poison that stacks with sand chip (same with wilo wisp) they have good synergy together overall. I decided on great tusk as my spinner for hazard control with boots and head smash for zapdos and Moltres while also having a 50% chance to OHKO kyurem from full if you happen to get a speed boost and finally kingambit with my only set I ever run black glasses Tera dark to finish off the team standard set and best revenge sweeper.
Tyranitar @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Sand Stream
Shiny: Yes
Tera Type: Flying
EVs: 224 Atk / 56 SpA / 228 Spe
Hasty Nature
- Knock Off
- Ice Beam
- Low Kick
- Stealth Rock
The speed is to creep Glisor who are defensive and have a 75% to OHKO and 2HKO if sp def, knock off is great to remove items and just spammable in general, low kick for kingambit and finally SR in the last slot. Tera flying if you really need to avoid a ground move and HDB to keep ttar healthy and reset weather vs snow and sun.
Garganacl @ Leftovers
Ability: Purifying Salt
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 252 HP / 20 Def / 232 SpD / 4 Spe
Careful Nature
- Salt Cure
- Curse
- Earthquake
- Recover
Garg can help switch in vs special attacks with its boost in sand and spread salt cure to help chip things down over time or find an opportunity to set up and sweep. Tera water is vs you don’t lose to gholdengo compared to Tera fairy, helps vs kingambit with iron head and just overall a great defensive Tera. Garg usually comes in mid to late game and with predictions help chip everyone down with burn, poison and sand chip. Or just set up when the biggest threats to him are gone and sweep with curse.
Moltres @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Flame Body
Tera Type: Dragon
EVs: 248 HP / 248 Def / 12 Spe
Bold Nature
- Flamethrower
- Will-O-Wisp
- Roost
- U-turn
Moltres does what it does best, spread status and pivot, tera dragon is for wellspring to go for the wilo as its the biggest threat to the team, but if you predict them to lead with wellspring then the best lead vs it is glowking as it has a chance to OHKO with sludge bomb and can poison if not Tera dragon will cripple it and give the team a easier time vs the opponent. Standard set just max def to always switch in on physical attackers or fairies.
Slowking-Galar @ Assault Vest
Ability: Regenerator
Tera Type: Dragon
EVs: 232 HP / 56 Def / 144 SpA / 76 SpD
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Psyshock
- Sludge Bomb
- Flamethrower
- Ice Beam
I went with just 4 attacks over having future sight since psyshock helps vs mons going for CM ice beam for gliscor or lando if earth power and flamethrower if you predict a kingambit switch and hit gholdengo. Sludge Bomb to fish for poison and hits hard. The EV spread allows you to take three crunches from Zama and sp def with AV hits 417 allowing you to easily come in freely on a lot of special attacks and hit hard back. Tera dragon over water was for wellspring if needed, but the Tera can change to anything else
Great Tusk @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Protosynthesis
Tera Type: Ice
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Rapid Spin
- Head Smash
- Ice Spinner
- Headlong Rush
Pretty standard set, as said before there to remove hazards, head smash to OHKO Moltres and Ice spinner into head smash upon defensive zapdos switching in If you avoid para, ice spinner for lando and gliscor and headlong rush for STAB, ters ice is used vs kyurem to get STAB and benefits from the snow buff since kyurem is usually paired with glowking.
Kingambit @ Black Glasses
Ability: Supreme Overlord
Tera Type: Dark
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Kowtow Cleave
- Swords Dance
- Iron Head
- Sucker Punch
Kingambit + Black Glasses is a monster especially when you decide to Tera Dark. With Webs you're able to outspeed Rillaboom + Grassy Glide with Sucker Punch. At 5 Fallen you're able to OHKO Roaring Moon after a Swords Dance and Tera with Sucker Punch. +4 Tera Dark Sucker Punch (5 Fallen) OHKOs Offensive Tusk 94% of the time. Iron Head over Low Kick is for fairies as well as abusing webs with flinches.

Final thoughts:
Team was made around wanting to use ttar and have fun with the team, it definitely has its issues, but was fun getting it to top 30 and been wanting to try something new out since I’ve been out of sv ou and trying different tiers. Thanks for reading! (Did this from my iPad while in the hospital so sorry got no sprites for threatlist.)
