Preface
Hello everyone! Welcome to read my first RMT. I have registered smogon for three years, but because my English is not very good, I have never had the opportunity to chat more. Recently, I suddenly felt that I had made a breakthrough, so I wanted to try posting, but I am not very knowledgeable and don’t know what to post, so I thought of posting an RMT in the tier I am familiar with. I'm not very familiar with the forum, so this post may be a little sparse. If there is anything wrong, please criticize and correct me.

Proof of peak
Since I change my account frequently, I can no longer find my ladder screenshots, so I borrowed my friend's.This is what he played before. If you have met him on the ladder, you should have an impression that he always likes to play this team.

Tocause
I personally mostly participate in tours, which I will talk about later.

Team building ideas
To be honest, I’m not a particularly creative player, so when I play Pokémon, I choose mainstream and powerful Pokémon to form a team, which will form a team-building style that is similar to a template. This time the team will start from the template.
:Koraidon::Miraidon::Calyrex-Shadow:
These three mons are almost the most powerful attackers in SV AG, and they are also my favorite offensive core. They can be found everywhere in SVAG, so I used these three. This is one of my favorite core of offense, with Miraidon bombarding Ting-Lu constantly, weakening it, allowing Calyrex-Shadow to break through. Choice Scarf Koraidon will provide speed support for the other two and keep momentum through UT.
The offensive core is determined, so what about the defensive backbone? I thought about it for a long time and found that since these three turrets are the mainstream in the entire SVAG, then I just need to bring their checks, right?
:Arceus-Fairy::Ting-Lu::Ho-Oh:
So I chose these three, which are Koraidon's check, Miraidon/Calyrex-Shadow's check, and Hooh, which can play between these three.
At this point, the framework of the team was set, so I experimented and improved it, and finally got a complete team. Because I was very interested in various myths during that time, I named it the Savior Epic.

Team member analysis

:sv/Koraidon:
剑舞鳞射,正是仙家手段 (Koraidon) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Orichalcum Pulse
Tera Type: Fire
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Outrage
- U-turn
- Low Kick
- Flare Blitz
The speedster and revenge killer of the team.
We don't need to say much about how strong Koraidon is. Koraidon has super high speed, super high attack, and high nature bulk. The most important thing is that it has UT, which will bring great pressure on the opponent's switch.
Koraidon has two responsibilities in the team. The first is that it’s the speedster of this team.
Scarf Koraidon has a speed that exceeds some common mons such as Loaded Dice Koraidon, HDB/LO Calyrex-Shadow, HDB Miraidon, Zacian-Crowned, etc. At the same time, it can revenge kill the opponent's mon after the faint of teammates. Its speed exceeds +1DDarc-ground, +2DDNDM and other setup sweepers,so it is a very good rescue player.
By applying pressure, forcing the opponent to switch, using UT to get teammates on the field, giving them a chance to shoot, this is something Scarf Calyrex-Shadow can't do.
Another role is to finish the game.
Koraidon's biggest enemies are usually HO-OH arc-water and Arc-fairy.
252 Atk Orichalcum Pulse Koraidon Flare Blitz vs. 240 HP / 252+ Def Arceus-Fairy in Sun: 171-202 (38.7 - 45.8%) -- 17.6% chance to 2HKO after Stealth Rock.
252 Atk Orichalcum Pulse Tera Fire Koraidon Flare Blitz vs. 240 HP / 252+ Def Arceus-Fairy in Sun: 256-303 (58 - 68.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO.
252 Atk Orichalcum Pulse Tera Fire Koraidon Outrage vs. 240 HP / 252+ Def Arceus-Water: 171-202 (38.7 - 45.8%) -- 17.6% chance to 2HKO after Stealth Rock
252 Atk Orichalcum Pulse Tera Fire Koraidon Outrage vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Ho-Oh: 208-246 (50.1 - 59.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
As you can see, if these three have their HP lowered, Koraidon has a chance to break through them.
At the same time, Koraidon's bulk is also solid. He can survive a +2 ekiller's Extreme Speed or a +1 arc-ground's Earthquake. Of course, there are more damage calc, so I won't go into details.

:sv/Miraidon:
操雷控电之神 (Miraidon) @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Hadron Engine
Tera Type: Fairy
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Electro Drift
- U-turn
- Taunt
The blaster in the team
Miraidon has a strong wallbreaking ability, it can help Koraidon deal with or force back Ho-oh and arc-fairy (if they dare to stay and be hit hard by Miraidon, Koraidon will give them a gen9 shock). In the meta, Ting-Lu is the most common check for Miraidon. When Ting-Lu comes on the field to try to stop Miraidon, it will be easily weakened by Draco Meteor+Taunt+U-turn, and it will be broken through in just one or two times. At the same time, Miraidon has the ability to directly switch into the opponent's Ho-oh, which is one of the ways to counter Ho-oh in the team. At the same time, due to Miraidon's own strength, it can cause extremely heavy damage to most mons, and most importantly, it also has UT! Taunt can prevent the opponent from setup or using troom.
Miradion is the most crucial member of the offensive core. It can help Koraidon deal with its checks by coming on the field after using ut, and can also blast Ting-lu or arc-normal to help Calyrex-Shadow break through.Miraidon's check, let's say Ting-Lu, will be repelled by Koraidon.

:sv/Calyrex-Shadow:
拜神不如拜我 (Calyrex-Shadow) @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: As One (Spectrier)
Tera Type: Grass
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Encore
- Grass Knot
- Nasty Plot
- Astral Barrage
Team sweeper.Oh my god Calyrex-Shadow
Anyone who has played gen8 and gen9 knows what a terrible mon Calyrex-Shadow is, so I won't go into too much detail about the usage of this mon, I will just talk about its role in the team.Undoubtedly, 150 SPE and As One (Spectrier) give it unparalleled speed and sweeingr capabilities. After the opponent's Ting-Lu, Ho-oh, and arc-normal are weakened, Calyrex-Shadow with NP would be able to break through directly. At the same time, due to the existence of Encore, it has the possibility of taking advantage of the setup turn to lock various setup sweepers, and can also lock a series of moves such as recover, Extreme Speed, Whirlwind, Spikes, web, etc., in order to find opportunities. As long as the opponent makes a small mistake, Astral Barrage will destroy everything.

:sv/Arceus-Fairy:
圣人不死不灭,可炼地雷风火 (Arceus-Fairy) @ Pixie Plate
Ability: Multitype
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 240 HP / 248 Def / 20 Spe
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Thunder Wave
- Recover
- Judgment
- Power Gem
Koraidon’s Check
A standard physical defensive arc, whose main goal is to stop Koraidon, but this does not mean that it has no way to stop spa attackers. Its bulk is enough for it to withstand an Astral Barrage or Electro Drift. The combination of Thunder Wave + Power Gem gives it the ability to deal with Ho-oh, and weaken tera fire Koraidon, Zacian-Crowned, Eternatus, and Calyrex-Shadow. But you must pay attention to its health to avoid being worn down too much to be unable to stop Koraidon. In addition, Will-O-Wisp + Dragon Tail is also a good combination, which works better against NDM and calyrex-ice, but the cost is that it would have trouble dealing with Ho-oh. This depends on the specific situation of the opponent.

:sv/Ting-Lu:
鼎之重器也 (Ting-Lu) @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Vessel of Ruin
Tera Type: Poison
EVs: 248 HP / 24 Atk / 236 SpD
Careful Nature
- Spikes
- Earthquake
- Whirlwind
- Payback
Miraidon and Calyrex-Shadow’s check
I don't have much to say about this mon, it is just a wall, and a consistant Spiker. Before its health is exhausted, it is a qualified check to Miraidon and Calyres-Shadow, and sometimes whirlwind can save the game.

:sv/Ho-Oh:
玄功九转!不堕轮回 (Ho-Oh) @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Regenerator
Tera Type: Flying
EVs: 160 HP / 252 Atk / 96 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Recover
- Sacred Fire
- Brave Bird
- Substitute
Team Prober and Stall killer
Thanks to Regenerator, Ho-oh can scout the set of the opponent's mons. But as you can see, this is an offensive Ho-oh. Using sub, it can bring devastating blows to the opponent, especially stall. Usually it will enter the field right after Miraidon and Calyrex-Shadow lure the opponent Ting-Lu in, then it create sub, and kill the opponent. You can also use arc-fairy and Ho-Oh as your entry point, and you can create sub against various mons that have been weakened by Thunder Wave, such as Eternatus, Calyrex-Shadow, Zacian, etc., and you only need one full para for it to work. In short, how to use it is up to you, but pay attention to the fact that compared with the defensive Ho-oh, this one has weaker bulk, so you must calculate its HP well.

Threatlist

:sv/Calyrex-Shadow:+:sv/Miraidon:
Since this team has no arc-normal, you have to rely on Ting-Lu to withstand these two mons. No matter what their sets are, the pressure on Ting-Lu will be very enormous. You should try to avoid mistakes, compete with the opponent's rhythm, kill his Ting-Lu first, and create a breakthrough.

:sv/Kyogre:
You have almost no way to stop this guy, and can only rely on Koraidon and Miraidon to switch gears a limited number of times. You have to speed up your attack.

:sv/Arceus-Fairy:
This refers specifically to those with CM and Power Gem, which cannot be stopped by Ho-oh, you must rely on your own arc-fairy to use Thunder Wave to slow it down, then your ho-oh could do some work against it, or you could force it out by switching your healthy mons into it or when it uses CM/recover.

:sv/Arceus:+:sv/Ting-Lu:
These two mons seriously interfere the team's concept of "Miraidon blast, Calyrex-Shadow sweep". If there is no chance, try to use Koraidon to break the game.

The offensive means have been strengthened. The disadvantage is that Astral Barrage is ineffective against teams carrying Arc-normal, and the rescue effect is limited.|

Using Trick, make Ting-Lu or Arc-Normal scrapped, or tera ghost kill everything, but it is the same problem as above for arc-normal.

postscript
This team was established during my AGLT in 2024. It accompanied me through the AGLT semi-finals, AGPL champion, Homefield Advantage runner-up, AG Circuit payoff semi-finals, AG open runner-up, and the ongoing AGSSNL finals. It has been constantly changed and improved, almost throughout my entire SVAG DLC2 career. It's not that the team is so strong, but I don't want this team to disappear after I quit, so I wrote this RMT. This team is suitable for novices, there is no weird set, all mainstream strength online. But on the contrary, facing the opponent's special set is likely to be fatally hit. But then again, SVAG is a tier full of mu and hax, who cares?
Thanks Tocause and HNHY for their help
