Usage Tips
========
  • Do not attempt a sweep until Sawsbuck's checks and counters are weakened
  • Be careful of switching into Grass-type attacks as its predictable and can result in Sawsbuck's death.
  • Best used as a mid to late game sweeper

  • Wild Charge
  • Substitute + Salac Berry
  • Aromatherapy
  • Synthesis
  • Agility
  • Thunder Wave
Checks & Counters
########

**Throh**: Throh can live any hit Sawsbuck wants to throw at it before a Swords Dance and can hit back hard with its super effective STAB move.

**Haunter**: Haunter is immune to Normal-type attacks and resists Horn Leech. It can check Sawsbuck by going for Sludge Wave or even switching in, if the opponent is guaranteed to go for Swords Dance. This means that Sawsbuck will be forced to switch out, wasting a turn, since Sawsbuck can barely touch Haunter however if its low on HP, it's down to a Speed tie.

**Revenge Killers**: Revenge killers such as Ninetales, Dodrio, Scyther, Sneasel and Tauros can come in after a teammate faints, outspeed Sawsbuck outside of sun and OHKO Sawsbuck due to its poor mediocre defenses. If Sawsbuck is running a Chlorophyll set and has sun up, then Sneasel can take it out from below half with an Ice Shard.

**Gourgeist**: All variants of Gourgeist resist or are immune to Sawsbuck's STAB moves, it can come in and threaten to burn Sawsbuck with a Will-O-Wisp. If Sawsbuck uses the turn to set up a Swords Dance, when Gourgeist switches in, it can Baton Pass however the incoming Pokemon is at a risk of getting burned and crippled.

**Garbodor**: Garbodor resists Horn Leech and can cause Sawsbuck to take heavy damage from the combination of Rocky Helmet + Aftermath + Double Edge's recoil when fainting. If Sawsbuck is faced against Garbodor, it's forced to switch out or get OHKOed by Gunk Shot due to Double Edge not OHKOing.

**Physical Walls**: Physical walls such as Avalugg and Pelipper can come in against Sawsbuck setting up a Swords Dance, survive a hit and retaliate with their STAB attacks such as Avalanche and Hurricane. Sawsbuck is either going to be forced to switch, wasting a turn if it did Swords Dance or get OHKOed; the opposing wall can use the chance to get status or a hard hit on the incoming Pokemon.

Overview
########

Sawsbuck is a decent sweeper due to its good abilities: Sap Sipper gives it an immunity to Grass-type attacks and boosts its Attack by one stage when it is hit by one, while Chlorophyll doubles its Speed when sun is active. Sawsbuck receives competition from Grass-types such as Leafeon; however, it has a niche in its Normal typing, which grants it an immunity to Ghost-type attacks and opportunities to hit opposing Grass-types hard with its STAB moves. Sawsbuck has good offensive type coverage and access to Swords Dance to boost its Attack for sweeping. Unfortunately, Sawsbuck isn't too fast for a sweeper, its typing gives it 6 weaknesses, and its poor defenses mean it's easy to revenge kill.

Swords Dance
########
name: Swords Dance
move 1: Swords Dance
move 2: Horn Leech
move 3: Double-Edge / Return
move 4: Baton Pass / Substitute
ability: Sap Sipper
item: Life Orb
evs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
nature: Jolly

Moves
========

Swords Dance boosts Sawsbuck's Attack by two stages. Horn Leech is a strong STAB move that recovers 50% of the damage dealt. Double-Edge is a hard hitting Normal-type STAB move; Horn Leech's recovery makes up for its recoil. Return is an option if Sawsbuck needs a strong Normal-type STAB move without recoil damage and still hits hard. Baton Pass allows Sawsbuck to gain momentum against walls such as Tangela and pass Swords Dance boosts. Alternatively, Substitute protects Sawsbuck from getting inflicted by status, allows it to scout foes' moves, and keeps it from getting revenge killed.

Set Details
========

A standard offensive EV spread is used on Sawsbuck to ensure it can outspeed as many Pokemon as possible and Speed tie with Haunter. Life Orb is used for more power. Sap Sipper allows Sawsbuck to get an Attack boost of one stage when hit by a Grass-type move. Chlorophyll can be used with sun support to get the Speed boost. When using Chlorophyll, an EV spread of 108 HP / 252 Atk / 148 Spe is preferred, as it lets Sawsbuck outspeed Choice Scarf Tauros and gives it more bulk, letting it take hits such as Sneasel's Ice Shard better.

Usage Tips
========

Sawsbuck is best used as a mid- or late-game sweeper. Sawsbuck shouldn't be setting up to sweep until its checks and counters are weakened to the point where it can 2HKO or OHKO them. When switching into Grass-type attacks, be cautious, as it's predictable and can result in Sawsbuck fainting, such as if an opposing Roselia goes for Sludge Bomb rather than Giga Drain when you switch Sawsbuck in. Make sure to bring Sawsbuck in on Pokemon it can set up on, such as Carracosta, Serperior, Relicanth, Golem, and Stunfisk, although the latter has the chance of paralyzing Sawsbuck, crippling its sweeping abilities.

Baton Pass can be used immediately after bringing in Sawsbuck to gain momentum against walls such as Avalugg, Gourgeist, and Garbodor, or Baton Pass can be used later to pass a Swords Dance boost to a teammate. Substitute prevents Pokemon such as Misdreavus, Vullaby and Pelipper from inflicting status, allows Sawsbuck to scout incoming attacks, and prevents revenge killers from dealing damage the first turn they come in. When using sun, it's crucial to bring in Sawsbuck right after setting it up, as it needs to take advantage of sun's few turns and set up a Swords Dance if needed.

Team Options
========

Entry hazards from Pokemon such as Garbodor are appreciated, as they weaken Pokemon throughout the battle so that Sawsbuck can OHKO or 2HKO them. Wallbreakers such as Tauros can weaken walls to the point of getting OHKOed by Sawsbuck's attacks. Sawsbuck provides a switch-in to Grass- and Electric-types, which threaten Poliwrath. In return, Poliwrath helps beat Ice- and Fire-types that threaten Sawsbuck, especially Avalugg due to its physical bulk. A Fire / Water / Grass core including Sawsbuck has great synergy, as the members resist each other's weaknesses; Pelipper, Sawsbuck and Ninetales work especially well as partners in this case. If using Chlorophyll, teammates such as Carbink, Golem, and Volbeat are appreciated because they can use Sunny Day. Volbeat deserves a special mention, as it has a slow U-turn that can give Sawsbuck a free switch in. Pokemon that benefit from sun, such as Ninetales, Flareon, and Victreebel, make good teammates, as they are similar to Chlorophyll Sawsbuck. Sneasel checks Ghost-types that don't mind taking Sawsbuck's attacks, such as Haunter and Gourgeist.

Other Options
########

Wild Charge allows Sawsbuck to hit Water / Flying such as Mantine, Pelipper and Swanna harder than Horn Leech. Jump Kick can be used for hitting Steel-types such as Bastiodon and Klang. Megahorn can hit Tangela and Gourgeist hard. Substitute + Salac Berry can be used; Sawsbuck should spam Substitute until the foe switches out or it gets the Speed boost. Aromatherapy can be used to keep Sawsbuck's team free of status, while Synthesis recovers HP and even more so in sun. Agility boosts Speed to ensure Sawsbuck isn't revenge killed by faster Pokemon when not in sun. Thunder Wave can be used to cripple Pokemon before fainting.

Checks & Counters
########

**Gourgeist**: All variants of Gourgeist resist or are immune to Sawsbuck's STAB moves, so it can come in and threaten to burn Sawsbuck with Will-O-Wisp. If Sawsbuck uses the turn Gourgeist switches in to set up a Swords Dance, it can Baton Pass out; however, the incoming Pokemon is at risk of getting burned as well. Also, Gourgeist can't touch Sawsbuck if it is behind a Substitute.
**Faster Pokemon**: Faster Pokemon, such as Ninetales, Choice Scarf Rotom-F, Dodrio, Scyther, Sneasel, and Tauros, can come in after a teammate faints, outspeed Sawsbuck outside of sun, and OHKO Sawsbuck due to its poor defenses.
**Priority**: Priority moves such as Sneasel's Ice Shard and Mightyena's Sucker Punch can hit Sawsbuck hard before it gets a chance to attack. Pokemon such as Illumise and Meowstic can also cripple Sawsbuck with Prankster Thunder Wave, lowering its Speed.
**Haunter**: Haunter is immune to Normal-type attacks and resists Horn Leech. It can check Sawsbuck with Sludge Wave or by switching in when you use Swords Dance. This means that Sawsbuck will be forced to switch out, wasting a turn and allowing Haunter to set up a Substitute or hit the incoming Pokemon.
**Physical Walls**: Physical walls such as Avalugg, Garbodor, and Pelipper can switch into Swords Dance, survive a hit, and retaliate with their STAB Avalanche, Gunk Shot, and Hurricane, respectively. Sawsbuck is either going to be OHKOed or be forced to switch and have wasted a turn setting up; the opposing wall can use this chance to inflict status or score a hard hit on the incoming Pokemon.

Choice Band Iron Fist Ledian's Mach Punch in C&C pls (Sneasel's Ice Shard tho)

Also I was planning on filling in stuff it can set up on in UT and never did, soooo you should do that.

use the spread i suggested in the other thread, which is 108 HP / 252 Atk / 148 Spe, it lets you outspeed scarf tauros in sun and gives you enough bulk to take sneasel's ice shard much more easily

stress that victreebel is almost a mandatory teammate on sun

remove chlorophyll from oo since it's in set details now

remove the special set from oo, it only has 60 spa

qc 1/3

  • The set lets you outspeed Scarf Tauros in sun and enough bulk to take Sneasel Ice Shard better
I think you should mention 'with Chlorophyll' as with Sap Sipper, it doesn't outspeed.

Umm Darnell, I think Magnemite either ment to say slash his spread or put it in set details with Chlorophyll cause Max Speed is much better without sun. So fix that

Give some more things that it can set up on other than a couple of water types.

yo things like that are generally irrelevant to analyses unless they actually provide any information

Anyways, I'd perhaps remove the point that it isn't too fast for a sweeper since base 95 maxed out outspeeds a respectable portion of it (still doesn't outspeed sneasel rip).

Baton Pass is in OO when it shouldn't be.

In Usage Tips, I'd mention how it's crucial to bring buck in immediately after Sun has just been set, because sun isn't infinite anymore and you'll want to take advantage of the remaining 7 turns to SD + attack/sweep (and buck won't ohko everything to factor that in). Ik chloro is just set details but it's still important enough

Usage tips should mention when to use Baton Pass and how to use it i.e. you can use it on forces it switches to act as non-damaging U-turn or to pass SD boosts

Volbeat also has a slow u-turn, that's really cool for setting up sun and ensuring buck is safe

I'd probably reword the Garbodor C&C or make it less significant because +2 Double Edge literally rapes it and suicide spiking variants are put at risk of an OHKO by unboosted Double Edge (+most players may just use spikes or something).

You should get the last bit of how it was formerly fighting-types out of the C&C, because it's irrelevant + it's supposed to be finalized and i'm sure you wouldn't want that onsite.

Hmm, maybe you may want to add Haunter somewhere in C&C? It's also immune to Double-edge, and it outspeeds and OHKOs with Sludge Wave. Scarf variants also suck.

In OO, maybe T-wave could be a bit fun to use early-game and cripple possible switch-ins for sawsbuck, although mostly it's a gimmick + buck is not exactly the bulkiest mon ever.

Also you could mention manual sun :o

I'm not QC so take this with a grain of salt :p

Sawsbuck is decent sweeper in the tier due to its good abilities;: Sap Sipper giving gives it an immunity to Grass-type attacks and boosting boosts Attack by one stage while Chlorophyll doubles the Speed when in the sun is active. Sawsbuck receives competition from Grass-types such as Leafeon,; however,(AC) it has a niche with its Normal typing,(AC) letting which grants it be immune an immunity to Ghost-type attacks and opportunities to hit opposing Grass-types harder with its STAB moves. Sawsbuck has good offensive type coverage and access to Swords Dance to boost its Attack for sweeping. Unfortunately, Sawsbuck isn't too fast for a sweeper in the tier and its poor (you can't say it's poor after just promoting it as a good typing, offensive or not) typing giving gives it 6 weaknesses, while also having and poor defenses meaning mean it's easy to revenge kill.

Swords Dance
########
name: Swords Dance
move 1: Swords Dance
move 2: Horn Leech
move 3: Double-Edge / Return
move 4: Baton Pass / Substitute
ability: Sap Sipper
item: Life Orb
evs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
nature: Jolly

Moves
========

Swords Dance is for boosting the Sawsbuck's Attack by two stages. Horn Leech is Grass-type a strong STAB move that and recovers 50% of the damage dealt to the foe. Double-Edge is a hard hitting Normal-type STAB which gives off with recoil,(AC) damage but however Horn Leech makes up for that with its recovery. Return is an option if Sawsbuck needs a Normal-type STAB which move that doesn't have recoil damage and still hits hard. Baton Pass allows Sawsbuck to gain momentum against walls such as Tangela and pass Swords Dance boosts. Substitute prevents Sawsbuck from getting inflicted by status, allows it to scout foes' moves,(AC) and avoids keeps Sawsbuck from getting revenge killed.

Set Details
========

The standard offensive EV spread is used on Sawsbuck to ensure it can outspeed as many Pokemon as possible and Speed tie with Haunter. The Life Orb is for more power in the attacks Sawsbuck is dishing out. Sap Sipper allows Sawsbuck to get an Attack boost of one stage when hit by a Grass-type attack. Chlorophyll can be used with sun support to get the double Speed boost;. When using Chlorophyll, an EV spread of 108 HP / 252 Atk / 148 Spe is preferred,(AC) as it lets Sawsbuck outspeed Scarf Tauros and has more bulk to take hits such as Sneasel's Ice Shard better.

Usage Tips
========

Sawsbuck is best used as a mid-(add)to-(add)late game sweeper. Sawsbuck shouldn't be setting up to sweep until its checks and counters are weakened to the point of 2HKO or OHKO. When switching into Grass-type attacks, be cautious,(AC) as it'(add)s predictable and can result in Sawsbuck fainting;, such as if an example would be an opposing Roselia going goes for Sludge Bomb rather than a predicted Giga Drain. Make sure to bring Sawsbuck in on Pokemon it can set up on such as Carracosta, Serperior, Relicanth, Golem and Stunfisk,(AC) although it the latter has the chance of paralyzing Sawsbuck, crippling its sweeping abilities.

Baton Pass can be used straight away after bringing in Sawsbuck to gain momentum against walls such as Avalugg, Gourgeist, and Garbodor or to pass a Swords Dance boost. Substitute avoids prevents Pokemon such as Misdreavus, Vullaby and Pelipper from inflicting status, allows Sawsbuck to scout incoming attacks,(AC) and prevents revenge killers from doing damage the first turn they come in. When using sun, its crucial to bring in Sawsbuck after setting it up,(AC) as it needs to take advantage of the amount of sun's few turns and set(space)up a Swords Dance if needed.

Team Options
========

Entry hazards from Pokemon such as Garbodor are appreciated,(AC) as it they weakens Pokemon throughout the battle to the point where so Sawsbuck can OHKO or 2HKO them. Wallbreakers such as Tauros can weaken walls to the point of getting OHKOed. (Is this relevant to Sawsbuck? I don't see anything about Sawsbuck or its team here) Sawsbuck provides is a switch-(add)in from Poliwrath,(AC) which is threatened by Grass- and Electric-type attacks. In return, Poliwrath helps beat Ice- and Fire-types which that threaten Sawsbuck,(AC) especially Avalugg due to its physical bulk. A Fire-, Grass- and Water-type core is appreciated in performing a great synergy with Sawsbuck; an example of this would be Pelipper, Sawsbuck and Ninetales work especially well in this case, with Ninetales further providing a method of sun support for Sawsbuck. Teammates such as Carbink, Golem and Volbeat are appreciated,(AC) as the can use Sunny Day. however Volbeat deserves a special mention,(AC) as it has a slow U-turn which that can benefit Sawsbuck with a free switch-(add)in. Pokemon such as Ninetales, Flareon, and Victreebel. (incomplete sentence) Sneasel helps by checking Ghost-types that don't mind taking Sawsbuck's attacks such as Haunter and Gourgeist which don't mind taking Sawsbuck's attacks.

Other Options
########

Wild Charge allows Sawsbuck to hit Water- and Flying-types such as Mantine, Pelipper and Swanna harder than Horn Leech. Jump Kick is for hitting Steel-types such as Bastiodon and Klang. Megahorn can hit Tangela and Gourgeist harder (nothing to compare it to). Substitute can be used until the opponent switches out or gets a Speed boost from a and Salac Berry can be used as Sawsbuck can use Substitute until the opponent switches out or it gets the Speed boost. Aromatherapy is for keeping Sawsbuck's the team healed from free of status while Synthesis is to gain back recovers HP and even moreso when is in sun, recovers even more however both of these moves have a mere 8 PP. (PP isn't hugely relevant) Agility can be used to gather boosts Speed to avoid ensure Sawsbuck being isn't revenge killed by faster Pokemon when not in sun. Thunder Wave can be used to cripple Pokemon before fainting and is more of a gimmick.

Checks & Counters
########

**Gourgeist**: All variants of Gourgeist resist or are immune to Sawsbuck's STAB moves, so it can come in and threaten to burn Sawsbuck with a Will-O-Wisp. If Sawsbuck uses the turn Gourgeist switches in to set up a Swords Dance, when Gourgeist switches in, it can Baton Pass; however,(AC) the incoming Pokemon is at a risk of getting burned and crippled. However, Gourgeist can't touch Sawsbuck if it is behind a Substitute.

**Faster Pokemon**: Faster Pokemon such as Ninetales, Choice Scarf Rotom-F, Dodrio, Scyther, Sneasel and Tauros can come in after a teammate faints, outspeed Sawsbuck outside of sun,(AC) and OHKO Sawsbuck due to its poor mediocre defenses.

**Priority**: Priority moves such as Sneasel's Ice Shard and Mightyena's Sucker Punch can damage Sawsbuck hard before it gets a chance to attack. Pokemon such as Illumise and Meowstic can also cripple Sawsbuck with their Prankster Thunder Wave,(AC) lowering it'(add)s Speed.

**Haunter**: Haunter is immune to Normal-type attacks and resists Horn Leech. It can check Sawsbuck by going for with Sludge Wave or even by switching in, if when the opponent is guaranteed to go for use Swords Dance. This means that Sawsbuck will be forced to switch out, wasting a turn and allowing Haunter to set up a Substitute or hit the incoming Pokemon, since Sawsbuck can barely touch Haunter however if its low on HP, it's down to a Speed tie. (I don't understand this last bit, but I don't think you need it since you mentioned the Speed tie somewhere before)

**Physical Walls**: Physical walls such as Avalugg, Garbodor and Pelipper can come in against Sawsbuck setting up a Swords Dance, survive a hit,(AC) and retaliate with their STAB attacks such as Avalanche, Gunk Shot, and Hurricane, respectively. Sawsbuck is either going to be forced to switch, wasting waste a turn if it did Swords Dance setting up, or get OHKOed; the opposing wall can use this chance to get inflict status or score a hard hit on the incoming Pokemon.

Take note on some of my changes in regards to how use things like "however" and semi-colons so you can apply them in the future. You tend to run-on or incorrectly use phrases, so just work on that a bit and you'll be solid.

Overview
########

Sawsbuck is a decent sweeper in the tier due to its good abilities: Sap Sipper gives it an immunity to Grass-type attacks and boosts its Attack by one stage when it is hit by one, while Chlorophyll doubles the its Speed when sun is active. Sawsbuck receives competition from Grass-types such as Leafeon; however, it has a niche with in its Normal typing, which grants it an immunity to Ghost-type attacks and opportunities to hit opposing Grass-types harder with its STAB moves. Sawsbuck has good offensive type coverage and access to Swords Dance to boost its Attack for sweeping. Unfortunately, Sawsbuck isn't too fast for a sweeper in the tier, (comma) and its typing gives it 6 weaknesses, and its poor defenses mean it's easy to revenge kill.

Swords Dance
########
name: Swords Dance
move 1: Swords Dance
move 2: Horn Leech
move 3: Double-Edge / Return
move 4: Baton Pass / Substitute
ability: Sap Sipper
item: Life Orb
evs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
nature: Jolly

Moves
========

Swords Dance is for boostsing Sawsbuck's Attack by two stages. Horn Leech is a strong STAB move that recovers 50% of the damage dealt to the foe. Double-Edge is a hard hitting Normal-type STAB move; with recoil, but Horn Leech's recovery makes up for its recoil that with its recovery. Return is an option if Sawsbuck needs a strong Normal-type STAB move that doesn't have without recoil damage and still hits hard. Baton Pass allows Sawsbuck to gain momentum against walls such as Tangela and pass Swords Dance boosts. Alternatively, Substitute prevents protects Sawsbuck from getting inflicted by status, allows it to scout foes' moves, and keeps it Sawsbuck from getting revenge killed.

Set Details
========

The A standard offensive EV spread is used on Sawsbuck to ensure it can outspeed as many Pokemon as possible and Speed tie with Haunter. Life Orb is used for more power in the attacks Sawsbuck is dishing out. Sap Sipper allows Sawsbuck to get an Attack boost of one stage when hit by a Grass-type move attack. Chlorophyll can be used with sun support to get the double Speed boost. When using Chlorophyll, an EV spread of 108 HP / 252 Atk / 148 Spe is preferred, as it lets Sawsbuck outspeed Choice Scarf Tauros and has gives it more bulk, letting it to take hits such as Sneasel's Ice Shard better.

Usage Tips
========

Sawsbuck is best used as a mid-to-late game mid- or late-game sweeper. Sawsbuck shouldn't be setting up to sweep until its checks and counters are weakened to the point where it can of 2HKO or OHKO them. When switching into Grass-type attacks, be cautious, as it's predictable and can result in Sawsbuck fainting, such as if an opposing Roselia goes for Sludge Bomb rather than a predicted Giga Drain when you switch Sawsbuck in. Make sure to bring Sawsbuck in on Pokemon it can set up on, (comma) such as Carracosta, Serperior, Relicanth, Golem, (comma) and Stunfisk, although the latter has the chance of paralyzing Sawsbuck, crippling its sweeping abilities.

Baton Pass can be used straight away immediately after bringing in Sawsbuck to gain momentum against walls such as Avalugg, Gourgeist, and Garbodor, (comma) or Baton Pass can be used later to pass a Swords Dance boost to a teammate. (the way this sentence was originally worded sounded like Sawsbuck would have a SD boost "straight away") Substitute prevents Pokemon such as Misdreavus, Vullaby and Pelipper from inflicting status, allows Sawsbuck to scout incoming attacks, and prevents revenge killers from doing dealing damage the first turn they come in. When using sun, it's crucial to bring in Sawsbuck right after setting it up, as it needs to take advantage of sun's few turns and set up a Swords Dance if needed.

Team Options
========

Sawsbuck provides a switch-in to Grass- and Electric-types, which threaten from Poliwrath. (period) which is threatened by Grass- and Electric-type attacks In return, Poliwrath helps beat Ice- and Fire-types that threaten Sawsbuck, especially Avalugg due to its physical bulk. A Fire / Water / Grass Fire-, Grass- and Water-type core including Sawsbuck is appreciated in performing a has great synergy, as the members resist each other's weaknesses with Sawsbuck; Pelipper, Sawsbuck and Ninetales work especially well as partners in this case, with Ninetales further providing a method of sun support for Sawsbuck (drought is banned in pu, though? or is sunny day ninetales a set?). If using Chlorophyll, teammates such as Carbink, Golem, (comma) and Volbeat are appreciated, as because they can use Sunny Day. Volbeat deserves a special mention, as it has a slow U-turn which that can give benefit Sawsbuck with a free switch in. (this is an important distinction; switch-in is a Pokemon that switches in on another, while the noun switch in is the act of switching in on another Pokemon) Pokemon that benefit from sun, such as Ninetales, Flareon, and Victreebel, (comma) make good teammates, (comma) as they are benefit from the sun similar to Chlorophyll Sawsbuck when using Chlorophyll. Sneasel helps by checking checks Ghost-types that don't mind taking Sawsbuck's attacks, (comma) such as Haunter and Gourgeist.

Other Options
########

Wild Charge allows Sawsbuck to hit Water / Flying Water- and Flying-types such as Mantine, Pelipper and Swanna harder than Horn Leech. Jump Kick is can be used for hitting Steel-types such as Bastiodon and Klang. Megahorn can hit Tangela and Gourgeist hard. Substitute + Salac Berry can be used; Sawsbuck should spam Substitute until the foe opponent switches out or it gets a the Speed boost from a Salac Berry. Aromatherapy can be used to keep is for keeping Sawsbuck's team free of status, (comma) while Synthesis recovers HP and even more so in sun. Agility boosts Speed to ensure Sawsbuck isn't revenge killed by faster Pokemon when not in sun. Thunder Wave can be used to cripple Pokemon before fainting.

Checks & Counters
########

**Gourgeist**: All variants of Gourgeist resist or are immune to Sawsbuck's STAB moves, so it can come in and threaten to burn Sawsbuck with a Will-O-Wisp. If Sawsbuck uses the turn Gourgeist switches in to set up a Swords Dance, it can Baton Pass out; however, the incoming Pokemon is at a risk of getting burned as well. Also, Gourgeist can't touch Sawsbuck if it is behind a Substitute.
**Faster Pokemon**: Faster Pokemon, (comma) such as Ninetales, Choice Scarf Rotom-F, Dodrio, Scyther, Sneasel, (comma) and Tauros, (comma) can come in after a teammate faints, outspeed Sawsbuck outside of sun, and OHKO Sawsbuck due to its poor mediocre (pick one) defenses.
**Priority**: Priority moves such as Sneasel's Ice Shard and Mightyena's Sucker Punch can damage Sawsbuck hard (pick one of "hit Sawsbuck hard" and "damage Sawsbuck") before it gets a chance to attack. Pokemon such as Illumise and Meowstic can also cripple Sawsbuck with their Prankster Thunder Wave, lowering its Speed.
**Haunter**: Haunter is immune to Normal-type attacks and resists Horn Leech. It can check Sawsbuck with Sludge Wave or by switching in, when the opponent is guaranteed to when you use Swords Dance. This means that Sawsbuck will be forced to switch out, wasting a turn and allowing Haunter to set up a Substitute or hit the incoming Pokemon. (period)
**Physical Walls**: Physical walls such as Avalugg, Garbodor, (comma) and Pelipper can switch into come in against Sawsbuck setting up a Swords Dance, survive a hit, and retaliate with their STAB attacks such as Avalanche, Gunk Shot, and Hurricane, respectively. Sawsbuck is either going to be OHKOed or be forced to switch, (remove comma) and have wasted a turn setting up, or get OHKOed; the opposing wall can use this chance to inflict status or score a hard hit on the incoming Pokemon.

uploaded, Darnell make sure to work on your prose and make it more flowing and less of the overview stuff mentioned in the sticky, i edited the overview slightly you can take a look at it on site. pls less of the "x move does this. x move does this. x move does this." see other options and moves for what i mean. other than that nice work.
