Hi, while looking at a few suggestions, I realized that SD Ace is a great idea in itself and can be quite surprising in the current meta. So, I propose a team that includes other original sets to maximize the surprise effect and catch the conventional checks of this team off guard. The team is built around an offense that utilizes dual Rocky Helmet (Lando-T + Hatt).

:sv/cinderace:
Cinderace @ Focus Sash
Ability: Blaze
Tera Type: Fighting
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Pyro Ball
- Reversal
- Sucker Punch

Let's start with Cinderace. The Focus Sash + Reversal variant is a key component of our strategy. With Reversal hitting at 200 BP when Cinderace is at 1 HP, it creates significant openings early in the game. Pyro Ball is essential for Fire STAB, while Sucker Punch offers priority and counters threats like Dragapult. Cinderace is also our only Fairy resist, so preserving its Focus Sash is crucial, especially against balanced teams.

:sv/hatterene: :sv/landorus-therian:
Landorus-Therian @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Intimidate
Tera Type: Grass
EVs: 232 HP / 20 Def / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earth Power
- Taunt
- U-turn
Hatterene @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Magic Bounce
Tera Type: Steel
EVs: 248 HP / 200 Def / 60 Spe
Bold Nature
- Psychic Noise
- Draining Kiss
- Nuzzle
- Healing Wish

I quickly realized I needed another form of hazard control since we don't have Court Change on Ace. I thought of the core Cind + Hatt, which seemed quite good. So, I went with dual RH (Hatt + Lando-T), which has been working very well for me lately, having reached top 10 several times with this core. I added them simultaneously to the team to complete the less offensive part of the team.

Hatt :hatterene: Psychic Noise to annoy Gliscor and get through subs, it also helps against Iron Moth if you still have Tera, because he might scout for Tera and sub (but generally you just Tera Steel + Psychic Noise if it’s your last tool against it). Draining Kiss gives longevity, Nuzzle to para Glowking and all. HWish can actually clutch some games paired with Kyurem.

Lando :landorus-therian:: Classic set, while outspeeding Glimmora and Great Tusk, it can set rocks and pivot or Taunt the opposing mon. Tera Grass helps against Waterpon.

:sv/darkrai:
Darkrai @ Roseli Berry
Ability: Bad Dreams
Tera Type: Poison
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Nasty Plot
- Dark Pulse
- Focus Blast
- Sludge Bomb
I then tackled the offensive core of the team. Given the team, I wanted to go for NP Krai. Roseli Berry helps deal with Enamorus and some Iron Valiant. Classic set apart from that, to make huge openings in general because "Darkrai isn’t even top 5 dark in OU" (you know…). Focus Blast for Steel and dark etc.

:sv/kyurem:
Kyurem @ Loaded Dice
Ability: Pressure
Tera Type: Electric
EVs: 56 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def / 196 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Substitute
- Icicle Spear
- Tera Blast

Next up is Kyurem. I chose the DD Sub variant with Loaded Dice and Tera Blast Electric to better handle Moltres, Dozo, Alom etc. Coupled with Sub, it's a really good sweeper able to win some matchups by itself. I don't have much else to say except that it's Kyurem, after all... I mean… Tera Blast Electric 3HKO Full Def Dozo also, you will just have to take care about Tera or Curse.

:sv/iron-valiant:
Iron Valiant @ Booster Energy
Ability: Quark Drive
Tera Type: Dark
EVs: 96 Atk / 160 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Destiny Bond
- Moonblast
- Knock Off
- Close Combat

Finally, Iron Valiant synergizes well with the team, providing a pivot and a mixed attacker, able to chip in usefully. Destiny Bond allows it to get rid of common checks if needed, like Hatterene for example. It’s a basic set here.

THREATS :

Toxic Spikes :pmd/glimmora: Glimmora Offenses are really annoying because you have to play around Glimmora to not set TSpikes at a bad moment, but we have a lot of tools against HO / Offense so it should not be much on an issue though

Dragapult :pmd/dragapult: The Specs Variant is very annoying because it is able to just grab a kill almost every time it enters the field, you will have to try to surprise it with Cinderace or play patiently and setup Kyurem at the good moment and try a sweep once potential Zama’s has already burnt out their Def Boost.

Shoutouts to the Teambuilding Lab team for their amazing help to finalyse the team, especially Tysonslayer 658Greninja and Roller K !!
Shoutouts to Antho17### for the test games !
Have fun with the team !

And I thought SD Ace was a funny haha. I was using this team and went 0-5 in my first games. I will note I'm a 1500-ish player and wasn't in the zone. But I felt Lando and Hatt would let some offensive threat in, like Ogerpon, and I didn't have anything to do about it. Is there a way to deal with Ogerpon facing Lando? Or do I just have to avoid that?

Yeah the team is a bit difficult to use and requires to know the team wells. In general you just setup 2 DD with Kyurem to sweep your opponent bc Waterpon teams are usually very weak to the kyurem set, also you can tera grass lando if you think Waterpon is still a big issue but yeah the team definitely has a lot of bad MUs though and need to be piloted very well :/

Since your team is reliant on keeping hazards off, how does your team address Ceaseless Edge? Darkrai? IV?
Yo, I couldn't even access smogon for now a few, only on phone, so yeah it does actually get through Hamurott thanks to hatt / lando etc but getting one or 2 layers of spikes isn't that bad, anyway the team isn't really relying on keeping hazards off tbh, you just setup Kyurem or Darkrai to clean up, weakening em with Lando-T and the Cind set beforehands

May I ask why you added 196 speed for Kyurem? Which one do you want to pass?
Great Tusk and common mons that wanna outspeed it. (sorry I'm busy and couldn't even access Smogon as said above) I can develop more on a few sets that I may not have explained so well
