Base Facility: The Contest Hall

Format Changes:
Starting with the rules of the Contest Hall, this event has the following changes:

• This Event is Level 2.
• This Event costs challengers no Star Pieces. (As a reminder, they must now pay normal JC costs for events.)
• Two players will challenge the Event as a team. Each player will bring one Pokemon, for a total of two.
• The two players will participate in a contest against Stella Magna and Duchess the Saharaja, who is played by the referee.
• The players will each have their own Score, but they win the event if either player Scores higher than Stella Magna.
• The players will specify their Production in their signup post, rather than in a DM to the ref.
• Due to the event's length, refs are paid 50% more JC, rounded up. (As per recent Event pay changes.)

With the power of truly ludicrous amounts of money, all things are possible. Stella Magna's unbroken streak of Contest Victories is no accident. Through a combination of hard work, unceasing effort, and egregious bribery, she has stacked Duchess' deck against the challengers; and indeed, against all challengers!

• The Master Judge always prefers Beautiful Appeals in this event.
• Stella Magna and Duchess automatically win the Voting Phase. (Skip the Unveiling and Voting Phases.)
• Duchess the Saharaja may bring her entire Level 3 movepool as her production; far in excess of the 14-move limit for Level 2 contests.

Magna's Mail (Held Item) (Represented with :flame mail:) A venomously sarcastic letter from Stella Magna congratulating you on your Contest victory. The attached gift box gives off some red flags, to put it lightly... The holder's attacks deal Fixed damage. The BAP of the user's self-sacrificing moves is increased by 15. (This item is immutable.)

Writ of Formal Apology (Key Item) (Represented with :mail:) A sterile, corporately-worded letter on official stationary. It offers apologies to [AGGRIEVED PARTY OR PARTIES HERE] for Stella Magna's recent [outburst / stander / attack / physical altercation / other], and outlines legal reprocussions for seeking compensation from her agency... Use this item when you claim it. After use, this item remains in the profile as a key item with no effect. Unlock one Advanced Technique, for one of the following species of Pokemon: One Advanced Technique unlock of your choice, for one of the following Pokemon you own: Pikachu, Smeargle, Necturna, Meloetta, Diancie, Chromera,​ Decidueye, Incineroar, Primarina, Meowscarada, Skeledirge, Quaquaval​ (Decidueye-Hisui is excluded.)​

He must have stolen it somehow while everybody was distracted.
