[OVERVIEW]

Grass
========

Serperior's great Special Attack stat, Speed stat, and ability in Contrary allow it to be a powerful sweeper. Contrary boosts its Special Attack each time a Leaf Storm is used, allowing it to break past Pokemon like Toxapex, Mantine, and Porygon2, and its great Speed stat allows it to outpace most of the metagame including Pokemon like Mega Gallade, Landorus, and Mega Diancie. It also has great utility options with Glare, Substitute, and Leech Seed that allow it to wear down the opposing team. However, Serperior's mediocre bulk means that it is easily revenge killed by faster Pokemon like Mega Lopunny and Weavile, Choice Scarf users like Latios and Heracross, and priority users like Dragonite and Diggersby. Serperior also suffers from a lack of good coverage options, as it relies on Hidden Power Fire to hit Steel-types super effectively. It also has to rely on Leaf Storm to do major damage because of its mediocre Special Attack stat. Furthermore, it is hard to justify a spot on the team for Serperior when other Pokemon such as Celebi, Whimsicott, and Decidueye individually improve matchups significantly, such as Steel and Poison, Dragon and Dark, and Psychic, respectively.

Moves
========

Serperior's Leech Seed helps to keep itself healthy against Pokemon like Celesteela, Toxapex, and Chansey. Serperior using Substitute is key to force switches on Pokemon like Toxapex and Ferrothorn and ease predictions to make it harder for the opposing team to revenge kill Serperior. The combination of Leech Seed and Substitute also helps Serperior wear down Pokemon like Heatran and Chansey. Leaf Storm boosts Serperior's Special Attack to break past bulky Pokemon such as Toxapex and Mega Sableye and clean weakened teams late-game. Hidden Power Fire, when powered up once, allows Serperior to take care of Steel-types like Mega Scizor, Forretress, and Ferrothorn.

Set Details
========

252 Speed EVs with a Timid nature allow Serperior to outpace Pokemon like Mega Gallade and Keldeo. Leftovers allows Serperior to have passive recovery while using Substitute + Leech Seed to get some HP back. Contrary allows Serperior to boost its Special Attack by using Leaf Storm and to take advantage of Sticky Web to get a Speed boost.

Usage Tips
========

Let Serperior come in on bulkier Pokemon such as Mega Sableye, on weak attacks like Forretress's Gyro Ball, on a predicted switch, or on predicted entry hazards from opposing Landorus-T or Garchomp. Make sure to scout common defensive Pokemon like Chansey, Ferrothorn, and Celesteela to make sure they aren't running Toxic as well as common Thunder Wave users such as Jirachi, as status will cripple Serperior significantly. Due to Serperior's mediocre bulk, do not let it take strong attacks such as Hydregion's Draco Meteor and Celesteela's Heavy Slam. Switch Serperior out when Pokemon that commonly have priority such as Dragonite, Diggersby, Weavile, and Bisharp are on the field, as Serperior does not take these attacks well. Prioritize using Leech Seed against bulkier teams such as Normal, Poison, and Flying, as it will slowly wear them down especially if there are entry hazards up. Use Serperior to clean late-game, as once all its checks and counters are out of the way, it has an easier time sweeping. In the Steel-type matchup, try to wear down Heatran as much as possible, as after Serperior powers up from using Leaf Storm, it can sweep with Hidden Power Fire. It can also outstall Heatran's Magma Storm PP by using Substitute, to fish for a miss and, when given the opportunity, use Leech Seed to help wear it down. Be careful around Pokemon with the ability Pressure like Zapdos and Suicune, as they can get rid of Leaf Storm's PP and make Serperior unable to clean late-game.

Team Options
========

Mega Venusaur is a must-have partner for Serperior because of its ability in Thick Fat and physical bulk, as this enables it to take on Pokemon such as Infernape and Mamoswine. Mega Venusaur can also soak up Toxic Spikes, which Serperior appreciates. Ferrothorn helps wear down bulkier teams like Normal and Dark with Spikes and can cripple Ice and Flying teams with Stealth Rock and Leech Seed and by forcing switches. Ferrothorn's Steel typing is also great for taking Ice-, Dragon-, and Fairy-type attacks like Greninja's Ice Beam, Latio's Draco Meteor, and Mimikyu's Play Rough and forcing their users out, which helps Serperior sweep late-game. Breloom greatly helps in the Ice-, Normal-, and Dark-type matchups with its Fighting typing against Pokemon like Weavile, Chansey, and Greninja. With Spore, Breloom can put passive Pokemon like Toxapex and common Stealth Rock setters like Garchomp to sleep. When running Rockium Z with Stone Edge, Breloom can take care of Celesteela and Mandibuzz after a Swords Dance. Celebi can help with the Steel-type matchup, as it can run Groundium Z to OHKO Heatran and threaten both Mega Scizor and Ferrothorn with Hidden Power Fire. With its Psychic-type STAB move, Celebi can also improve the Poison-type matchup, and it can even force in Alolan Muk and OHKO it after one Nasty Plot when running Groundium Z. Tapu Bulu is the best Choice Scarf user for Grass, as it can OHKO Mega Charizard Y and Volcarona with Stone Edge as well as help with fast Pokemon like Hydreigon and Mega Lopunny. Thanks to Grassy Terrain, it also provides Serperior with more passive recovery and makes Leaf Storm more powerful, which it appreciates. Cradily is able to set up Stealth Rock to complete a stacking duo with Ferrothorn. It is also a great specially defensive wall that can take on Hydreigon, Latios, and Fire-types like Volcarona and Blacephalon. Whimsicott can help with matchups like Dragon, Dark, and Fighting because of its Fairy typing, threatening Pokemon like Garchomp, Mega Sableye. and Mega Gallade. Thanks to Whimsicott's Fairy typing, it stops Kommo-o from using its Clangorous Soulblaze that would otherwise be a bit threat to the team. Whimsicott can also help with its utility moves in Tailwind, Encore, and Stun Spore to help Serperior outpace faster Pokemon like Latios and setup Pokemon like Volcarona, and slow down threatening Pokemon like Greninja and Victini. Decidueye helps with the Psychic-type matchup because of its combination of Swords Dance, Spirit Shackle, and Shadow Sneak being able to take care of most of these Pokemon. With Spirit Shackle, Swords Dance, and Roost, it can trap troublesome walls like Toxapex, Mantine, and Celesteela and take care of them. Decidueye also greatly helps with Victini, a big threat to Grass teams, as once a Pokemon gets OHKOed by V-create, it can come in and take care of it or use it as a chance to set up with Swords Dance.

Grass
--------

Glare can be used over Leech Seed to paralyze troublesome Pokemon like Mega Charizard Y, Victini, and Kyurem-B; however, Serperior will struggle to keep itself healthy without Leech Seed because it will rely more on its passive recovery from Leftovers. Dragon Pulse can be used over Hidden Power Fire to threaten Dragon-types like Kyurem-B and Dragonite; however, without it Serperior cannot hit important Pokemon like Mega Scizor and Ferrothorn in the Steel-type matchup. Choice Scarf can be used to make Serperior outpace Pokemon like Weavile and Choice Scarf Latios; however, its mediocre Special Attack stat, lack of coverage options, and inability to switch its moves make it hard to justify using over better Choice Scarf users like Tapu Bulu.

Checks and Counters
===================

Grass
--------

**Status**: Pokemon that usually run Toxic such as Chansey and Celesteela can hinder Serperior, as it can no longer keep itself healthy while using Leaf Storm. Serperior should not come out if Toxic Spikes from Toxapex are on the field, as this will hinder its passive recovery from Leftovers. Thunder Wave from Jirachi or Porygon2 can make Serperior unable to outpace Pokemon it needs to like Heatran in order to outstall its Magma Storm PP with Substitute.

**Fire-types**: Serperior fails to take Fire-type attacks from Heatran, Mega Charizard X and Y, and Volcarona, as while it does outpace these Pokemon, it fails to do any significant damage to them before getting OHKOed.

**Poison-types**: Pesky Poison-types like Alolan Muk and Mega Venusaur can cause Serperior trouble, as these Pokemon can tank any of its attacks and OHKO it with their STAB moves.

**Haze Users**: Haze users like Toxapex and Mantine can either get rid of Serperior's boost or make it waste Leaf Storm's PP; however, after two Leaf Storm boosts, they have trouble removing them.

**Faster Attackers and Priority**: Faster Pokemon like Weavile and Choice Scarf Pokemon like Latios, Kyurem-B, and Infernape can outpace Serperior and easily take care of it with their STAB attacks. Serperior also has trouble with handling Bisharp's Sucker Punch or Mega Scizor's Bullet Punch because of its mediocre bulk.

**Special Walls**: Special walls like Chansey and Mantine can tank Serperior's attacks after being boosted by Leaf Storm and easily wear it down with their attacks. However, if they are caught by Leech Seed on the switch, Serperior can use Substitute to wear them down along with Leaf Storm.

**Wallbreakers**: Powerful physical and special wallbreakers like Hydreigon and Kommo-o can easily tank an attack from Serperior and OHKO it back with their powerful attacks.

Grass
========

* Serperior has a great ability in Contrary, which can power up its Special Attack each time a Leaf Storm is used that allows it to break past Pokemon like Toxapex, Jirachi and Celesteela. It can also take advantage of opponent's Sticky Web to gain a free Speed Boost.
* Thanks to its great Speed stat, Serperior can outpace most of the metagame as it can outspeed Pokemon like Mega Gallade, Landorus and Mega Diancie.

* Talk about its utility options such as sub leech seed and glare that allows it to wear down teams combined with its good speed
* However, its medicore bulk and lack of coverage moves allows set up sweepers and wallbreakers like Mew, Alolan Muk and Mega Latios to easily OHKO it.
* Faster Pokemon and revenge killers like Mega Lopunny and Weavile along with Choice Scarf users like Latios and Heracross gives it trouble as they can outpace and 2KO 2HKO or OHKO Serperior.
* It has trouble against wallbreakers like Raichu, Meloetta and Excadrill because their STAB moves can easily take care of it.
Merge this point with the point where you are talking about its medicore bulk and rephrase it
* Furthermore, Serperior is priority weak as it gets 2KOed severely weakened by Extreme Speed and Quick Attack from Dragonite and Diggersby
respectfully respectively.
* point about its mediocre special attack and its reliance on leaf storm boost to deal significant damage.
* It is also hard to put on Grass-type teams because of other Special Attackers like Celebi that can help more greatly in the Poison- and Steel-type matchup because of its Psyshic-typing and able to run Earth Power to OHKO Heatran and Groundium Z for Alolan Muk. It could also mean dropping Cradily to give room to Serperior; however this means it will make it harder to take care of Mega Charizard Y and Volcarona. I think you can rephrase it to make it better and add the word tight team slots since that is exactly why it can be hard to fit in serperior on a grass type team without compromising other match ups You can go with something like ' Due to the issue of tight team slots on Grass-type teams it can be hard to justify a spot for Serperior when other Pokemon such as Celebi and Cradily improve match ups where the former helps with Steel- and Poison-type teams and latter provides a way to check Fire-types like Volcarona and Stealth rock support in one slot.'

Moves
========

* Add a point about leech seed
* Substitute is key to use on force switches as well as bulky Pokemon like Toxapex and Ferrothorn. Talk about how substitute eases prediction and makes it harder for opposing team to revenge KO serperior, can also add how Substitute along with Leech Seed allows it to wear down opposing Pokemon.
* Leaf Storm is important to use as it power ups its Special Attack to break past Toxapex and clean weakened teams late-game.
* Hidden Power Fire when powered up allows it to take care of Steel-types like Mega Scizor, Jirachi and Ferrothorn.

Set Details
========

* 252 Spe
ed with a Timid nature allows it to outpace Pokemon like Mega Gallade and Keldeo.
* Maximum Special attack investment allows it to hit as hard as possible.
* Leftovers allow Serperior to have passive recovery while using Substitute + Leech Seed to get some HP back.
* Serperior's ability Contrary allows its Special Attack to get powered up by Leaf Storm and also allows it to take advangte of Sticky Web to get a Speed boost.

Usage Tips
========

* Let Serperior come in on bulkier Pokemon like Toxapex and Mantine, weak attacks like Ferrothorn's Power Whip, a predicted switch or hazards being put down.
*
Talk about to scout for Toxic against defensive Pokemon as they can cripple it on the switch and make it unable to wear down opposing team or clean late-game.
* Be wary around Pokemon that can have Fire-type coverage like Celesteela, Garchomp and Hydreigon as it will greatly hinder Serperior from using Leaf Storm to power itself up or using Leech Seed to slowly get some reocvery recovery back.
*
Due to its mediocre bulk, do not let Serperior come in on strong attacks like Hydregion's Draco Meteor or Celesteela's Heavy Slam as it will be 2KOed 2HKOed by those attacks. You can say it will get severely weakened instead of 2HKOed as well.
* Switch Serperior out when Pokemon that commonly have priority like Dragonite, Diggersby, Weavile and Bisharp as Serperior does not take these attacks well. Merge this point with the above point as they both are basically talking about its mediocre bulk and rephrase to suit.
* Use Leech Seed against bulkier teams like Normal, Poison and Flying as it will slowly wear them down especially if there are hazards down. You can rephrase this point with something like 'Prioritize using Leech Seed against bulkier teams such as..'
* Use Serperior to clean late-game as once all its checks and counters are out of the way, Serperior has an eaiser time sweeping.
* In the Steel-type matchup try to wear down Heatran as much as possible, as after Serperior powers up from using Leaf Storm, it can sweep with Hidden Power Fire.
You can also talk about how Serperior can stall out magma storm pp by using Substitute against Heatran and magma storm has shaky accuracy so serperior can get a free sub in to use leech seed next to wear it down,
* Mention how leaf storm has low PP and so should be used carefully against teams that has a pressure user like Zapdos and against dedicated special walls as it can result in serperior not being able to clean late-game.

Team Options
========

* Mega Venusaur is a must have
partner for Grass Serperior because of its ability Thick Fat and for its physical bulk as this enables it to take on Infernape and Mamoswine. It is also thanks to its bulk it can take on Mimikyu and Mega Diancie in the Fairy-type matchup.
* Cradily is essential for being a check to Volcarona and being able to set up Stealth Rock and pair a stacking duo with Ferrothorn. It is also a great
Special Defense specially defensive wall that can take on Hydreigon, Latios and Torkoal's attacks Blacephalon [Torkoal is handled by mega venu too and Blace is a better threat example imo]. In return Serperior can help with troubling walls like Toxapex and able to take on Steel-types like Ferrothorn and Mega Scizor.
* Ferrothorn forms a hazard stacking core with Cradily as You mentioned in the above point that ferrothorn and cradily forms a hazard stacking core so no need to mention again, instead talk how ferro wears down bulky teams with spikes and leech seed combo forcing switches it can help wear down bulkier teams like Normal and Dark and offensive teams like Dragon and Fairy. Ferrothorn is also great for matchups such as Ice, Dragon and Fairy because of its Steel-typing forcing them out which helps Serperior sweep late-game.
* Breloom greatly helps in both the Ice-, Normal- and Dark-type matchup with its Fighting-typing as it helps with Pokemon like Weavile, Chansey and Greninja. It can also be an
emcery emergency check with Focus Sash to Volcarona.
* Celebi can
greatly help with the Steel-type matchup as it can run Groundium Z to OHKO Heatran and threaten both Mega Scizor and Ferrothorn with Hidden Power Fire. With its Psychic STAB, Celebi can also help greatly in the improve Poison-type matchup as it can force in Alolan Muk and OHKO it after one Nasty Plot.
* Tapu Bulu is the best Choice Scarf user for Grass
-type teams, as it can OHKO Mega Charizard Y and Volcarona with Stone Edge as well as help with fast Pokemon like Hyreigion and Mega Lopunny. Thanks to Grassy Terrtian, it also provides Serperior more passive recovery which it appreciates.
* Whimsiscott can help
greatly [try not to repeat a particular word] with matchups like Dragon, Dark and Fighting because of its Fairy-typing threatening Pokemon like Garchomp, Mega Sableye and Mega Gallade. It can also help with its uality utility moves in Tailwind, Encore and Stun Spore to help outpace Dragon-types like Latios, set up Pokemon like Volcarona and slow down threatening Pokemon like Greninja and Victini.
* Decidueye helps with the Psychic-type matchup because of its combination of Spirit Shackle and Shadow Sneak being able to take care of most of these Pokemon. It also greatly helps with Victini, a big threat to Grass-type teams as once a Pokemon gets OHKOed by V-Create, Decidueye can come in and take care of it. It can also trap bulkier Pokemon like Toxapex and Celesteela with Spirit Shackle to set up and take care of it with is Z move, which Serperior appreciates.

**Fire-types**: Serperior fails to take Fire-type attacks from Heatran, Mega Charizard X and Y and Volcarona, while Serperior does outpace these Pokemon, it fails to do any

**Poison-types**: Pesky Poison-types like Alolan Muk and Mega Venusaur can cause Serperior trouble as these Pokemon can tank any of its attacks and OHKO it with their STAB moves.

**Haze and Phasers**: Haze users like Toxapex and Mantine and Whirlwind users like Skarmory can either get rid of Serperior's boost or force it out, therefore making it lose its boost gain by Leaf Storm.
Dont mention skarmory here as it is weak to HP Fire which means it will take HP fire first before it can use Whirlwind. just keep this point to Haze Users, you can also mention how haze users make serperior waste PP of leaf storm.

**Faster Attackers**: Faster Pokemon like Weavile and Choice Scarf Pokemon like Latios, Kyurem-B and Infernape can outpace and easily take care of Serperior with their STAB attacks.

**Special Walls**: Special walls like Chansey and Mantine can tank Serperior's attack even after being boosted by Leaf Storm and can easily wear it down with their attacks.
Mention this is not the case if serperior catches them with Leech seed on the switch as then it can use Substitute to wear them down and fire off leaf storms which will make it hard to handle.

**Wallbreakers**: Powerful Physical and Special wallbreakers like Excadrill, Hyderigon, and Kommo-o can easily tank an attack from Serperior and OHKO it back with their powerful attacks.

- imo you should focus on what contrary allows it to break past with its grass stab

* Thanks to Serperior's great Speed stat, it can outpace most of the metagame from Pokemon like Mega Gallade, Landorus, and Mega Diancie.
* It also has great utility options with Glare, Substitute, and Leech Seed that allows it to wear down the opposing team.
- would talk a little more about what these utility allow it to do

* However, Serperior's medicore bulk and lack of coverage moves allows set up sweepers and wallbreakers like Mew, Alolan Muk, Raichu, Choice Scarf Meloetta, Excadrill and Mega Latios too easily OHKO it.
- alolan raichu needs terrain+it to be weakened to revenge kill serp so i wouldnt use that example, also excadrill seems like a bad example here

* Faster Pokemon like Mega Lopunny and Weavile along with Choice Scarf users like Latios and Heracross gives Serperior trouble as they can outpace and 2HKO or OHKO it.
* Serperior has to rely on Leaf Storm to do major damage because of its mediocre Special Attack stat.

- would not really talk about cradily (ferro has been running spikes+sr recently making this less useful), more its other options like decidueye or whimsicott

* Leech Seed helps Serperior keep itself healthy against Steel-, Water- and Normal-types like Celesteela, Toxapex and Chansey.
- would reword this just to say it allows it to stay healthy, you dont need to include the types imo

* Substitute is key to use on force switches on Pokemon like Toxapex and Ferrothorn and eases predictions to make it harder for the opposing team to revenge kill it. With Leech Seed and Substitute helps wear down Pokemon like Heatran and Chansey.
* Leaf Storm is important to use as it power ups its Special Attack to break past Toxapex and clean weakened teams late-game.
* Hidden Power Fire when powered up allows it to take care of Steel-types like Mega Scizor
, Jirachi and Ferrothorn.
- mega scizor and ferro are best examples to keep here. you can add forretress (becoming more used on bug) and on a type grass is weak against (bug).

* 252 Speed EVs with a Timid nature allows it to outpace Pokemon like Mega Gallade and Keldeo.
* Leftovers allow Serperior to have passive recovery while using Substitute + Leech Seed to get some HP back.

* Be careful around Pokemon with the ability Pressure like Zapdos and Suicune as it can easilly get rid of Leaf Storm's PP and make it unable to clean late-game.
- suicune cant easily pressure leaf storm, just take that word out (since it needs the right conditions)

Team Options

* Mega Venusaur is a must have partner for Serperior because of its ability Thick Fat and for its physical bulk as this enables it to take on Infernape and Mamoswine. It is also thanks to its bulk it can take on Mimikyu and Mega Diancie in the Fairy-type matchup.

- would also talk about how it can set rocks since cradily has been decreasing in usage recently

* Breloom greatly helps in both the Ice-, Normal- and Dark-type matchup with its Fighting-typing as it helps with Pokemon like Weavile, Chansey and Greninja. It can also be an emergency check with Focus Sash to Volcarona.
- talk about its sd+rockium z set that allows it to check pokemon such as Mandibuzz and Celesteela.

* Celebi can help with the Steel-type matchup, it can run Groundium Z to OHKO Heatran and threaten both Mega Scizor and Ferrothorn with Hidden Power Fire. With its Psychic STAB, Celebi can also improve the Poison-type matchup as it can force in Alolan Muk and OHKO it after one Nasty Plot.
* Tapu Bulu is the best Choice Scarf user for Grass, as it can OHKO Mega Charizard Y and Volcarona with Stone Edge as well as help with fast Pokemon like Hyreigion and Mega Lopunny. Thanks to Grassy Terrtian, it also provides Serperior more passive recovery which it appreciates.
* Cradily is essential for being a check to Volcarona and being able to set up Stealth Rock to pair a stacking duo with Ferrothorn. It is also a great specially defensive wall that can take on Hydreigon, Latios and Blacephalon. In return Serperior can help with troubling walls like Toxapex and able to take on Steel-types like Ferrothorn and Mega Scizor.

- moved cradily down in team options for reasons stated in overview.

* Whimsicott Whimsiscott can help with matchups like Dragon, Dark and Fighting because of its Fairy-typing threatening Pokemon like Garchomp, Mega Sableye and Mega Gallade. It can also help with its utility moves in Tailwind, Encore and Stun Spore to help outpace Dragon-types like Latios, set up Pokemon like Volcarona and slow down threatening Pokemon like Greninja and Victini.
- mention that this pokemon is grass teams saving grace against kommo-o.

- would talk about its sd+roost+dual ghost stab set w/ spooky plate, imo z move celebi or breloom is better. that is the more dominant decidueye set atm anyway.

- imo dragon pulse is just bad, whimsicott should be used if you want to improve the dragon matchup. this makes serperior worse than it is atm

* Choice Scarf can be used to be able to outpace Pokemon like Weavile and Choice Scarf Latios; however, its mediocre special attack stat, lack of coverage options, and not being able to switch its moves make it hard to justify using over better Choice Scarf users on Grass like Tapu Bulu.

- talk about how they cant deal with serperior after a few leaf storms

**Faster Attackers**: Faster Pokemon like Weavile and Choice Scarf Pokemon like Latios, Kyurem-B and Infernape can outpace and easily take care of Serperior with their STAB attacks.

**Special Walls**: Special walls like Chansey and Mantine can tank Serperior's attack after being boosted by Leaf Storm and can easily wear it down with their attacks. However, if they are caught by Leech Seed on the switch, as it can use Substitute to wear them down along with Leaf Storm.

**Wallbreakers**: Powerful Physical and Special wallbreakers like Excadrill, Hyderigon, and Kommo-o can easily tank an attack from Serperior and OHKO it back with their powerful attacks.

[OVERVIEW]

Grass
========

* Serperior has a great ability in Contrary, which can power up its Special Attack each time a Leaf Storm is used that allows it to break past Pokemon like Toxapex, Mantine, Hippowdon, and Porygon2. It can also take advantage of opponent's Sticky Web to gain a free Speed Boost.
* Thanks to Serperior's great Speed stat, it can outpace most of the metagame from Pokemon like Mega Gallade, Landorus and Mega Diancie.

When you write this up, say how these allow Serperior to serve as a setup sweeper.

* However, Serperior's medicore bulk and lack of coverage moves allows set up sweepers and wallbreakers like Mew, Alolan Muk, Raichu, Meloetta, Excadrill and Mega Latios too easily OHKO it.
*
means that it is easily revenge killed by Faster Pokemon like Mega Lopunny and Weavile along with Choice Scarf users like Latios and Heracross and priority users such as x and x. gives Serperior trouble as they can outpace and 2HKO or OHKO it.
Condensed all this into one bullet, the previous examples weren't great.

* Lack of coverage options

* Furthermore, Serperior is priority weak as it gets 2KOed by Extreme Speed and Quick Attack from Dragonite and Diggersby
respectively.

Put this where you talk about its mediocre bulk.

* Due to the issue of tight team slots on Grass-type teams it can be hard to justify a spot for Serperior when other Pokemon such as Celebi and Decidueye improve tough match ups where the Celebi helps with Steel- and Poison-type teams while Decidueye helps greatly in the Psychic-type matchup with its Ghost STAB.
I would mention Whimsicott for Dragon and Dark.

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========

* Leaf Storm is important to use as it power ups its Special Attack to break past
bulky Pokemon such as Toxapex and x and clean weakened teams late-game.

Usage Tips
========

* Let Serperior come in on bulkier Pokemon like Toxapex and Mantine, weak attacks like Ferrothorn's Power Whip, a predicted switch or hazards being put down.

This bullet isn't great as it is, you talk about switching it in on two of the Pokemon you list in Serperior's checks and counters which is contradictory.

* Make sure to scout common defensive Pokemon like Chansey, Ferrothorn or Celesteela is not running Toxic as if Serperior gets Toxic, it will cripple it for it to wear down the opposing team or clean mid to late game.
Make this into a general status bullet and talk about Thunder Wave here too.

* Be wary around Pokemon that can have Fire-type coverage like Celesteela, Garchomp and Hydreigon as it will greatly hinder Serperior from using Leaf Storm to power itself up or using Leech Seed to slowly get some recovery back.
This bullet seems useless because people know not to switch Grass-type Pokemon into Fire-type attacks, and all of the Pokemon you listed can beat Serperior with other attacks, which makes it similar to the bullet below.

* Due to its mediocre bulk, do not let Serperior come in on take strong attacks like Hydregion's Draco Meteor or Celesteela's Heavy Slam as it will be severely weakened by those attacks. Switch Serperior out when Pokemon that commonly have priority like Dragonite, Diggersby, Weavile and Bisharp as Serperior does not take these attacks well.

Team Options
========

* Mega Venusaur is a must have partner for Serperior because of its ability Thick Fat and for its physical bulk as this enables it to take on Pokemon such as Infernape and Mamoswine. It is also thanks to its bulk it can take on Mimikyu and Mega Diancie in the Fairy-type matchup.
Being able able to remove Toxic Spikes is good. Beating Mega Diancie is not notable either.

* Ferrothorn helps wear down bulkier teams like Normal and Dark with Spikes and can cripple Ice and Flying teams with Stealth Rocks, Leech Seed and forcing switches. Ferrothorn is also great for matchups such as Ice, Dragon and Fairy because of its Steel typing forcing them out which helps Serperior sweep late-game.
Talk about types of attacks and Pokemon it can take on for Serperior using that great defensive typing over types themselves.

* Breloom greatly helps in both the Ice-, Normal- and Dark-type matchup with its Fighting-typing as it helps with Pokemon like Weavile, Chansey and Greninja. It can also be an emergency check with Focus Sash to Volcarona. When running Rockium Z with Stone Edge, after a Swords Dance Breloom can take care of Celesteela and Mandibuzz.
Breloom doesn't serve as a reliable check to Volcarona because of hazards, while you accept the loss to those two types when playing Grass. Talk about Spore though.

Talk about Grassy Terrain powering up Leaf Storm.

Cradily is hardly essential on Grass teams anymore. You can talk about its Fire neutrality when talking about it as a specially defensive wall though.

* Whimsicott can help with matchups like Dragon, Dark and Fighting because of its Fairy-typing threatening Pokemon like Garchomp, Mega Sableye and Mega Gallade. Thanks to Whimsicott's Fairy typimg, it stops Kommo-o from using its Z-Clanging Scales that would otherwise be a bit threat to the team. It can also help with its utility moves in Tailwind, Encore and Stun Spore to help Serperior outpace Dragon-types faster Pokemon like Choice Scarf Latios, set up Pokemon like Volcarona and slow down threatening Pokemon like Greninja and Victini.

* Decidueye helps with the Psychic-type matchup
because of its combination of the item Spooky plate, Swords Dance, Spirit Shackle and Shadow Sneak being able to take care of most of these Pokemon. It also greatly helps with Victini, a big threat to Grass-type teams as once a Pokemon gets OHKOed by V-Create, Decidueye can come in and take care of it or use it as a chance to set up with Swords Dance. With Spirit Shackle. Swords Dance and Roost, it can trap troublesome walls like Toxapex, Mantine and Celesteela and take care of them.
Talk about Spirit Shackle before you talk about Victini.

Grass

Lead the analysis with a sentence about what Serperior does for Grass generally, rather than jumping straight into it.
Serperior has a great ability in Contrary, which can power up its Special Attack each time a Leaf Storm is used that allows it to break past Pokemon like Toxapex, Mantine, Hippowdon, and Porygon2. Serperior can also take advantage of the foe setting down Sticky Web to gain a free Speed Boost. I don't think this is relevant, especially considering Serperior doesn't do much at all vs Bug and no other type really uses webs. Serperior has a great Speed stat, which allows it to outpace most of the metagame from Pokemon like Mega Gallade, Landorus and Mega Diancie to be a good setup sweeper. It also has great utility options with Glare, Substitute, and Leech Seed that allows it to wear down the opposing team as it can Substitute on Pokemon it forces out like Toxapex, Glare troubling Pokemon like Celesteela and Leech Seed walls like Chansey to get some additional recovery back Too much detail for overview in my opinion, this all can be in usage tips or moves. However, Serperior's medicore bulk means that it is easily revenge killed by faster Pokemon like Mega Lopunny and Weavile, Choice Scarf users like Latios and Heracross and priority users like Dragonite and Diggersby. Serperior also suffers from lack of good coverage options as it relies on Hidden Power Fire to hit Steel-types super effectively. It also has to rely on Leaf Storm to do major damage because of its mediocre Special Attack stat. Furthermore, It is hard to justify a spot on the team for Serperior when other Pokemon such as Celebi, Whimsicott, and Decidueye improve individually match ups significantly, such as Steel and Poison, Dragon and Dark, and Psychic, respectively.where Celebi helps with Steel- and Poison-type teams, Whimsicott helps in the Dragon- and Dark-type matchup, and Decidueye helps greatly in the Psychic-type matchup with its Ghost STAB.

Serperior's Leech Seed helps to keep itself healthy against Pokemon like Celesteela, Toxapex and Chansey. Serperior using Substitute is key to force switches on Pokemon like Toxapex and Ferrothorn and eases predictions to make it harder for the opposing team to revenge kill Serperior. With using Leech Seed and Substitute, it helps wear down Pokemon like Heatran and Chansey. Leaf Storm is important to use as it power ups its Special Attack to break past bulky Pokemon such as Toxapex and Mega Sableye and clean weakened teams late-game. Hidden Power Fire when powered up once allows Serperior to take care of Steel-types like Mega Scizor, Forretress and Ferrothorn.

Set Details
========

Having 252 Speed EVs with a Timid nature allows it to outpace Pokemon like Mega Gallade and Keldeo. Leftovers allow Serperior to have passive recovery while using Substitute + Leech Seed to get some HP back.
Serperior's ability Contrary allows its Special Attack to get powered up by Leaf Storm and also allows it to take advantage of Sticky Web to get a Speed boost.

Usage Tips
========

Let Serperior come in on bulkier Pokemon such as Mega Sableye, weak attacks like Ferrothorn's Power Whip
Use a different example - Ferrothorn clicking Power Whip is irrelevant to a grass team., a predicted switch or when hazards being put down from Landorus-T or Garchomp. Make sure to scout common defensive Pokemon like Chansey, Ferrothorn or Celesteela is not running Toxic or common Thunder Wave users such as Galvantula (?) and Jirachi as if Serperior gets Toxic or Thunder Wave, itstatus will cripple Serperior significantly it from wearing down the opposing team or sweep mid to late game. Due to Serperior's mediocre bulk, do not let it take strong attacks such as Hydregion's Draco Meteor or Celesteela's Heavy Slam as it will be severely weakened by those attacks. Switch Serperior out when Pokemon that commonly have priority such as Dragonite, Diggersby, Weavile and Bisharp are on the field as Serperior does not take these attacks well. Prioritize using Leech Seed against bulkier teams such as Normal, Poison and Flying as it will slowly wear them down especially if there are hazards down. Use Serperior to clean late game as once all its checks and counters are out of the way, it has an easier time sweeping. In the Steel-type matchup try to wear down Heatran as much as possible, as after Serperior powers up from using Leaf Storm, it can sweep with Hidden Power Fire. It can also stall out Heatran's Magma Storm PP by using Substitute as if Magma Storm misses, Serperior can use this chance to use Leech Seed to help wear it down. Be careful around Pokemon with the ability Pressure like Zapdos and Suicune as it can get rid of Leaf Storm's PP and make it unable to clean late-game.

Team Options

Mega Venusaur is a must have partner for Serperior because of its ability Thick Fat and for its physical bulk as this enables it to take on Pokemon such as Infernape and Mamoswine. Mega Venusaur can also soak up Toxic Spikes that which Serperior appreciates. Ferrothorn helps wear down bulkier teams like Normal and Dark with Spikes and can cripple Ice and Flying teams with Stealth Rocks, Leech Seed and forcing switches. Ferrothorn is also great for being able to take Ice-, Dragon- and Fairy-types attack like Greninja's Ice Beam, Latios' Draco Meteor, and Mimikyu's Play Rough because of its Steel typing forcing them out which helps Serperior sweep late-game. Breloom greatly helps in both the Ice-, Normal- and Dark-type matchup with its Fighting-typing as it helps with Pokemon like Weavile, Chansey and Greninja. With Spore, Breloom can put passive Pokemon like Toxapex or common Stealth Rock settlers like Garchomp to sleep. When running Rockium Z with Stone Edge, after a Swords Dance Breloom can take care of Celesteela and Mandibuzz. Celebi can help with the Steel-type matchup, it can run Groundium Z to OHKO Heatran and threaten both Mega Scizor and Ferrothorn with Hidden Power Fire. With its Psychic STAB, Celebi can also improve the Poison-type matchup as it can force in Alolan Muk and OHKO it after one Nasty Plot. Tapu Bulu is the best Choice Scarf user for Grass, as it can OHKO Mega Charizard Y and Volcarona with Stone Edge as well as help with fast Pokemon like Hyreigion and Mega Lopunny. Thanks to Grassy Terrtian Terrain, it also provides Serperior more passive recovery and make Leaf Storm more powerful which it appreciates. Cradily is able to set up Stealth Rock to pair a stacking duo with Ferrothorn. It is also a great specially defensive wall that can take on Hydreigon, Latios and Fire-types like Volcarona and Blacephalon. Whimsicott can help with matchups like Dragon, Dark and Fighting because of its Fairy-typing threatening Pokemon like Garchomp, Mega Sableye and Mega Gallade. Thanks to Whimsicott's Fairy typing, it stops Kommo-o from using its Z-Clanging Scales that would otherwise be a bit threat to the team. It can also help with its utility moves in Tailwind, Encore and Stun Spore to help Serperior outpace faster Pokemon like Latios, set up Pokemon like Volcarona and slow down threatening Pokemon like Greninja and Victini. Glare can be used over Leech Seed to paralyze troublesome Pokemon like Mega Charizard Y, Victini and Kyurem-B; however, Serperior will struggle to keep itself healthy without Leech Seed because of relying more on its passive recovery from Leftovers. Dragon Pulse can be used over Hidden Power Fire to threaten Dragon-types like Kyurem-B and Dragonite, however now Serperior cannot hit important Pokemon like Mega Scizor and Ferrothorn in the Steel-type matchup.
Choice Scarf can be used to make Serperior able to outpace Pokemon like Weavile and Choice Scarf Latios; however, its mediocre special attack stat, lack of coverage options, and not being able to switch its moves makes it hard to justify using over better Choice Scarf users like Tapu Bulu.

**Status**: Pokemon that usually run Toxic such as Chansey and Celesteela can hinder Serperior as it can no longer keep itself healthy while using Leaf Storm. Serperior should not come out if there is a Toxic Spike down from Toxapex, as this will hinder its passive recovery from Leftovers. Thunder Wave from Jirachi or Porygon2 can make Serperior unable to outpace Pokemon it needs to like Heatran in order to stall it out its Magma Storm PP with Substitute.

**Fire-types**: Serperior fails to take Fire-type attacks from Heatran, Mega Charizard X and Y and Volcarona, while Serperior does outpace these Pokemon, it fails to do any significant damage to them before Serperior gets OHKOed.

**Poison-types**: Pesky Poison-types like Alolan Muk and Mega Venusaur can cause Serperior trouble as these Pokemon can tank any of its attacks and OHKO it with their STAB moves.

**Hazers**: Haze users like Toxapex and Mantine can either get rid of Serperior's boost or make it waste Leaf Storm's PP, therefore making it lose its boost gain by Leaf Storm; however after two Leaf Storm boosts, they have trouble to Haze it away.

**Faster Attackers and Priority**: Faster Pokemon like Weavile and Choice Scarf Pokemon like Latios, Kyurem-B and Infernape can outpace and easily take care of Serperior with their STAB attacks. Serperior also has trouble with handling Bisharp's Sucker Punch or Mega Scizor's Bullet Punch because of its mediocre bulk.

Greninja has Protean and very rarely ever clicks Dark-type moves.
Greninja is still Dark-type when it first comes in, so this should definitely be clarified anyway. Something along the lines of "...and slow down threatening Pokemon like Greninja when it changes its type via Protean, and Victini."

Nobody switches a Greninja hard into Whimsicott. Either it’s Dark, and you never click Stun Spore anyway, or it’s Water and that’s a risk you can never take with your wincon and only answer to Serpwrior. This literally isn’t a scenario.

[OVERVIEW]

Grass
========

Serperior's has a great Special Attack stat, Speed stat, and ability in Contrary that allows allow it to be a powerful sweeper. Its ability in Contrary boosts its Special Attack each time a Leaf Storm is used, allowing it to break past Pokemon like Toxapex, Mantine, and Porygon2, (comma) Serperior has a and its great Speed stat, which allows it to be a good setup sweeper and (repeats) outpace most of the metagame including Pokemon like Mega Gallade, Landorus, and Mega Diancie. It also has great utility options with Glare, Substitute, and Leech Seed that allows allow it to wear down the opposing team.

Moves
========

Serperior's Leech Seed helps to keep itself healthy against Pokemon like Celesteela, Toxapex, (AC) and Chansey. Leaf Storm is important to use, as it boosts Serperior's Special Attack to break past bulky Pokemon such as Toxapex and Mega Sableye and clean weakened teams late-game. Hidden Power Fire, when powered up once, allows Serperior to take care of Steel-types like Mega Scizor, Forretress, and Ferrothorn.

Set Details
========

252 Speed EVs with a Timid nature allow Serperior to outpace Pokemon like Mega Gallade and Keldeo. Leftovers allows Serperior to have passive recovery while using Substitute + Leech Seed to get some HP back. Serperior's ability in Contrary allows Serperior to boost its Special Attack to get powered up by using Leaf Storm and it to take advantage of Sticky Web to get a Speed boost.

Usage Tips
========

Let Serperior come in on bulkier Pokemon such as Mega Sableye, on weak attacks like Forretress's Gyro Ball, on a predicted switch, or when on predicted entry hazards are being put down by from opposing Landorus-T or Garchomp. Make sure to scout common defensive Pokemon like Chansey, Ferrothorn, or and Celesteela to make sure they aren't running Toxic as well as common Thunder Wave users such as Jirachi, as status will cripple Serperior significantly. Prioritize using Leech Seed against bulkier teams such as Normal, Poison, and Flying, as it will slowly wear them down especially if there are entry hazards down up. It can also outstall Heatran's Magma Storm PP by using Substitute, as if Magma Storm misses, Serperior can use this with a chance to also to fish for a miss and, when given the opportunity, (entire rewrite basically but I think this is what the point was meant to be?) use Leech Seed to help wear it down. Be careful around Pokemon with the ability Pressure like Zapdos and Suicune, as they can get rid of Leaf Storm's PP and make it Serperior unable to clean late-game.

Team Options
========

Mega Venusaur is a must-have partner for Serperior because of its ability in Thick Fat and physical bulk, as this enables it to take on Pokemon such as Infernape and Mamoswine. Mega Venusaur can also soak up Toxic Spikes, which Serperior appreciates. Ferrothorn helps wear down bulkier teams like Normal and Dark with Spikes and can cripple Ice and Flying teams with Stealth Rock (RC) and Leech Seed (RC) and by forcing switches. Ferrothorn's Steel typing is also great for being able to take taking Ice-, Dragon-, and Fairy-type attacks like Greninja's Ice Beam, Latios's Draco Meteor, and Mimikyu's Play Rough because of its Steel typing, and forcing them their users out, which helps Serperior sweep late-game. Breloom greatly helps in the Ice-, Normal-, and Dark-type matchups with its Fighting typing, as it helps with against Pokemon like Weavile, Chansey, and Greninja. With Spore, Breloom can put passive Pokemon like Toxapex and common Stealth Rock settlers setters like Garchomp to sleep. When running Rockium Z with Stone Edge, after a Swords Dance Breloom can take care of Celesteela and Mandibuzz after a Swords Dance. Celebi can help with the Steel-type matchup, as it can run Groundium Z to OHKO Heatran and threaten both Mega Scizor and Ferrothorn with Hidden Power Fire. With its Psychic-type STAB move, Celebi can also improve the Poison-type matchup, as and it can even (or tweak it however you like but this obviously can't technically be the reason) force in Alolan Muk and OHKO it after one Nasty Plot. Cradily is able to set up Stealth Rock to pair complete a stacking duo with Ferrothorn. Decidueye helps with the Psychic-type matchup because of its combination of Swords Dance, Spirit Shackle, (AC) and Shadow Sneak being able to take care of most of these Pokemon.

Other Options
=============

Grass
--------

Glare can be used over Leech Seed to paralyze troublesome Pokemon like Mega Charizard Y, Victini, and Kyurem-B; however, Serperior will struggle to keep itself healthy without Leech Seed because of relying it will rely more on its passive recovery from Leftovers. Dragon Pulse can be used over Hidden Power Fire to threaten Dragon-types like Kyurem-B and Dragonite; however, without it, (AC) Serperior cannot hit important Pokemon like Mega Scizor and Ferrothorn in the Steel-type matchup. Choice Scarf can be used to make Serperior outpace Pokemon like Weavile and Choice Scarf Latios; however, its mediocre Special Attack stat, lack of coverage options, and not being able inability to switch its moves makes make it hard to justify using over better Choice Scarf users like Tapu Bulu.

Checks and Counters
===================

Grass

**Haze Users**: Haze users like Toxapex and Mantine can either get rid of Serperior's boosts or make it waste Leaf Storm's PP, therefore making it lose its boosts gained by Leaf Storm;(p sure this is a repeat?) however, after two Leaf Storm boosts, they have trouble removing them.

**Faster Attackers and Priority**: Faster Pokemon like Weavile and Choice Scarf Pokemon like Latios, Kyurem-B, and Infernape can outpace Serperior and easily take care of Serperior it with their STAB attacks.
