ORAS UU Sharpedo and friends

Hello, I wanted to build an UU team nd i choosed to build one around one of my favourite mon : Sharpedo. I actually tested it seems not working after 1 200 ladd, so I need some help to improve it, i can delete any mons you want for improve this team. Here is the team :

archeops.gif

Archeops @ Focus Sash
Ability: Defeatist
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Endeavor
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Head Smash

First i went for M-Dactyl, but when testing, I found that Regular Sharpedo wasn't good, so i choosen Archeops for have acces to M-Sharpedo. So he is my lead who does Stealth Rock. Before die, the most of time, I choose Endeavor for weaken the oppenent for make easy Sharpedo's set up against non preparted teams. Head Smash is a great STAB who can 3HKO mons like Forretress. Finally, EQ is here for EdgeQuake combo.

sharpedo-mega.gif

Sharpedo @ Sharpedonite
Ability: Speed Boost
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Protect
- Crunch
- Waterfall
- Ice Fang

This guy can finish the game when all Psyshical tanks are out. The idea is Revenge Kill a mon or Protect when it's at the regular mode for get the Speed Boost and the mega evolve for destroy evrything. Waterfall and Crunch are the two main STAB moves. Ice Fang is here for ruin grass type mons like Shaymin (50% to OHKO with SR). Jolly nature is here for outspeed Scarfed Darmanitan at +1 speed and the mega form.

celebi.gif

Celebi @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Nasty Plot
- Giga Drain
- Psychic
- Recover

Celebi is a great Late Game Sweeper. I choosen him for finish with Psychical walls like Hippodown and so help M-Sharpedo. Set Up a Nasty Plot is really easy against mons like Milotic or Florges thanks to his bulk. Giga Drain can help wain some HP. Psychic is a regular STAB and Recover is here for ake easy his setup against annoying mons.

magneton.gif

Magneton @ Choice Specs
Ability: Analytic
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Volt Switch
- Thunderbolt
- Flash Cannon
- Hidden Power [Grass]

Magneton is my second special sweeper. He can OHKO mons Like M-Diancie or M-Altaria, so his is very usefull. HP Grass can surprise mons like defensif Swampert. Thunderbolt and Flash Cannon are the two powerfull STABS who help me deal against mons like Florges and Crobat. His only problem is his bulk, so if you have a better mon who can replace it, i will take it :].

aromatisse.gif

Aromatisse @ Leftovers
Ability: Aroma Veil
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
- Wish
- Protect
- Moonblast
- Aromatherapy

For me, Aromatisse is a best wisher than Florges, because of his great Defence and Good HP, he also has a great ability who ignores Taunt. So, this set is very simple, Wish and Aroatherapy helps me support my entire team (mostly against burns for M-Sharpedo). Protect is here for take Wish without dying. Finally, Moonblast is here for ruin set up sweepers.

arcanine.gif

Arcanine @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Morning Sun
- Will-O-Wisp
- Flare Blitz
- Extreme Speed

Thanks to Intimidate, Arcanine becomes a great Psychical wall. Will O Wisp can burn annoying Psychical sweepers like M-Aggron and support my entire team. Morning Sun is here for stall a little. Flare Blitz is a great STAB move who works well with Morning Sun. Finally, Extreme Speed is great for finish with weak. Endavor works well with Archeops's Endavor.

I hope receive some great tips guys :].

Hey lopo, this looks like a really fun team haha. I just have a few quick things to say:

First I don't really think that a suicide lead like Archeops fits on a balance team like yours. I think a bulkier rock setter like Donphan or Forretress would be much better options. Both of the aforementioned mons really benefit from having a cleric on the team like Aromatisse as they are all very bulky and lack reliable recovery which is helped out by Aroma's wishes. Additionally, they both have access to Rapid Spin which is really helpful to your team as one of your walls has a pretty big Rocks weakness and hazard support in general is just nice.

I'm not too sure how I feel about Magneton's place on your team, I think that a scarfer would be a better fit on your team to help out against offensive threats. Even though you do have Sharpedo who can protect and Speed Boost up to +1 Obviously you could just throw a Scarf on Magneton and call it a day, but it still doesn't outspeed some of the faster megas in the tier like Aero and Zam so I think that Jirachi would be a much better mon to put on your team. Rachi is great for Fairies and Crobat so it fills up that role that Magneton did and it's also a lot bulkier which is something you said was a problem you had with Magneton.

Yup and that's is haha, only other thing I would consider is probably a different cleric over Aromatisse like Florges or Vaporeon since you have a specially defensive spread, but you seemed pretty adamant about keeping Aroma for its ability so I'll just let that be. Hope I helped! Good luck in future battles :]

I agree with Toenail's suggestions, but here's one of my own that I think could be really fun. Instead of Nasty Plot Celebi, you could try SD Celebi. However, instead of Zen Headbutt as your secondary STAB, you can use Baton Pass. When it looks like your Celebi sweep is about to end, you can Baton Pass out into Sharpedo to give it the boosts you might have accumulated. In particular, this is a set I've found to be extremely fun:

Celebi @ Weakness Policy
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 248 HP / 220 Def / 36 SpD
Serious Nature
- Swords Dance
- Seed Bomb
- Recover
- Baton Pass

This Celebi set is bulky enough to reliably set up a boost, and easily take a lot of super effective hits in order to activate Weakness Policy. It's also slow, so it can tank a hit and then baton pass out into Sharpedo.

252 Atk Mienshao U-turn vs. 252 HP / 220+ Def Celebi: 224-264 (55.4 - 65.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

252 Atk Crobat Brave Bird vs. 252 HP / 220+ Def Celebi: 224-266 (55.4 - 65.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

252 Atk Krookodile Knock Off (97.5 BP) vs. 252 HP / 220+ Def Celebi: 218-258 (53.9 - 63.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

252 Atk Darmanitan U-turn vs. 252 HP / 220+ Def Celebi: 240-284 (59.4 - 70.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

If you prefer a Nasty Plot Celebi that sweeps on its own and would rather use that then go ahead, but this is just a fun option that you can try if you like the idea :]

I took scarf Jira, AV Donphan and BP Celebi ! But now, i need a special sweeper, any suggestions would be welcome :]. Must i replace scarf Jira by a special Jira set and replace Arcanine by another mon who could be scarfed like Chandelure ?

Personally I'd run Taunt>Earthquake on Archeops. It can help against other hazard setters as Archeops is in quite a good speed tier for being a lead. I personally disagree with Dudeman130498's Celebi idea and I think you had a better mon in Nasty Plot Celebi. Other than that the other suggestions are pretty useful for the team. Gl!

I would run Leftovers/Rocky Helmet > AV on Donphan, because Donphan's best utility in UU is taking hits and setting up rocks! Having no Leftovers means if can get the whittle on and force you to wish pass, and not being able to run Rocks on balanced is something I don't agree with. Hope this helped!
