I'm not really sure if this is in the correct area, but I saw some NU discussion and I can't quite wrap my head around the acronyms as your forum discussion topic didn't have a FAQ about what UU even means. I assume "Underused".
Anyway, I was looking at dear Shuckle here, and apparently, there is this moveset, Wrap Trap.

What irks me here is that in the moveset, there is Bide. Unless I am misunderstanding the mechanics of Bide, wouldn't Shuckle be the worst possible Pokemon to give Bide to? Think about it. Bide depends upon how much damage is taken to the Pokemon's HP numerical value, not the percentage, right? What kind of Pokemon can penetrate 614 defense? Even if they managed to, and got Shuckle down to 1HP, Shuckle's HP is pitiful, right? Wouldn't the ideal Pokemon for Bide be a Pokemon with incredibly high HP and pitiful defense? Like maybe, Blissey? (Goodness, if it could only learn Bide.)

If I'm misunderstanding something, please say so. This is just sort of itching the back of my mind.

yeah, you're right. Shuckle's analysis is pretty outdated and I don't know why anyone would ever use Bide on it. the first set is probably what you want to use if you're going to use Shuckle.

but in terms of contributing to C&C, if you wish to make a small change to an analysis, check out this thread for subjective modifications (like changing movesets or EVs) or this thread for objective modifications (typos, spelling, and grammar). if you actually want to write an entire analysis, follow the guidelines given in the Quality Control subforum.
