[OVERVIEW]

Sigilyph has access to Magic Guard, one of the best abilities in the game, which gives it immunity to all passive damage, including Stealth Rock damage, Toxic damage, and Life Orb recoil. Good Speed, good enough Special Attack, and an incredibly wide offensive movepool let Sigilyph act as a potent wallbreaker that can still pose a threat to offense thanks to its Speed. A wide support movepool lets Sigilyph sustain itself using Roost, act as a late-game sweeper using Calm Mind, and generally support its team with utility options such as Thunder Wave and Defog. However, Sigilyph is stuck with fairly low bulk, leaving it easily Pursuit trapped by Sneasel and vulnerable to being revenged killed by attacks such as Passimian's Knock Off. This low bulk and its susceptibility to coverage moves also heavily limit its opportunities to switch in, as Sigilyph takes significant damage even from neutral attacks, being easily 2HKOed by Steelix's Heavy Slam. While Sigilyph's Special Attack is good enough for it to deal heavy damage on super effective hits and against frail Pokemon, it struggles against dedicated special walls.

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========
Air Slash boasts great neutral coverage, hits Incineroar harder than any other coverage option, and hits enemy Fighting- and Grass-types. Heat Wave is Sigilyph's best option against Steel-types such as Steelix and Silvally-Steel, notably hitting Silvally-Steel for a 2HKO most of the time if Stealth Rock is up. Energy Ball hits Rock-types such as Rhydon and Diancie for super effective damage, OHKOing the former most of the time after Stealth Rock and 2HKOing the latter most of the time. It also hits Slowbro and Slowking harder than any of Sigilyph's other attacks. Roost lets Sigilyph recover health against passive Pokemon such as Blastoise and Torterra, as well as on Pokemon such as Vileplume it predicts to switch out. Protect can be used to scout Choice item users such as Passimian and Sneasel, making playing against them significantly easier. Psyshock can be used to hit Golbat, Heliolisk, and Cryogonal harder than any of Sigilyph's other attacks, having a chance to OHKO specially defensive Cryogonal and OHKOing Heliolisk, both after Stealth Rock damage.

Set Details
========
Magic Guard lets Sigilyph ignore Stealth Rock, Toxic damage, and Life Orb recoil. Life Orb gives a significant power boost, and thanks to Magic Guard, its recoil is nullified. Maximum Speed and Special Attack as well as a Timid nature give Sigilyph the ability to outspeed enemy Rotom while maximizing its power.

Usage Tips
========
Sigilyph should be brought in on predicted double switches or when the opposing Pokemon is predicted to use Toxic, minimizing the damage it takes. This also extends to passive Pokemon such as Xatu, Seismitoad, and defensive Torterra, which cannot damage Sigilyph significantly. Stealth Rock can help to turn many of Sigilyph's 3HKOs into 2HKOs, so aim to get up Stealth Rock up early in a match, especially if facing Incineroar. If using Roost, try to heal up on predicted switches, for example against Vileplume. Air Slash is generally Sigilyph's safest move to use, hitting predicted Dark-type switch-ins such as Incineroar and Sneasel. Do not be afraid to let Sigilyph be KOed by an enemy Pursuit or Knock Off if your team has a sweeper that can set up on either of the two. If using Protect, use it to scout Choice item users that may use a Dark-type attack, such as Pursuit trappers like Sneasel and Aerodactyl and Knock Off users such as Passimian.

Team Options
========
Stealth Rock users such as Steelix, Rhydon, and Diancie are excellent partners, as Sigilyph relies on the chip damage for many 2HKOs and OHKOs, such as against Rhydon with Energy Ball. Mold Breaker Druddigon also makes a great partner, taking on Heliolisk and being able to set up Stealth Rock against Xatu. Sweepers such as Incineroar, Klinklang, and Comfey that can set up on Dark-type attacks from Choice item users are excellent partners and take advantage of Pokemon Pursuit trapping Sigilyph or KOing it with Knock Off. Sigilyph threatens Grass-types such as Vileplume, Torterra, and Sceptile, so Pokemon weak to Grass-type attacks such as Rhydon, Slowbro, and Seismitoad can be excellent partners. Dark-type answers such as Passimian, Incineroar, and Diancie are good partners, as they come in on some of the more common Pokemon that threaten Sigilyph. Pokemon weak to Fighting-type attacks such as Heliolisk and Scrafty appreciate Sigilyph's ability to come in on attacks such as Passimian's Close Combat and threaten the opposing team. Pokemon that resist Ice, such as Klinklang and Incineroar, help take on the Ice-types that threaten Sigilyph. Spikes users such as Garbodor make good partners, capitalizing on the switches that Sigilyph forces.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============
A set of Calm Mind / Cosmic Power / Air Slash / Roost with Flyinium Z and an EV spread of 252 HP / 136 Def / 120 Spe with a Timid nature is an incredibly potent late-game sweeper if opposing Pokemon that resist Flying are taken out, being nearly impossible to stop if not taken out early enough. Although, critical hits ignore the defense boosts it accrues. Tinted Lens can be used with Choice Specs to fire off incredibly strong attacks that are nearly impossible to resist, letting Sigilyph 2HKO Slowking with Psyshock and 2HKO Steelix with Air Slash; however,(AC) it suffers from a vulnerability to Stealth Rock, as well as being vulnerable to status. Defog can be used alongside Magic Guard to come in on and remove almost any combination of enemy entry hazards; however, Sigilyph's low bulk means this is often better done by Xatu, which can proactively use Magic Bounce to control hazards. Thanks to Magic Guard, Sigilyph can be an excellent user of Focus Sash, especially on hyper offense teams, as when played properly, its Focus Sash is nearly impossible to break; however, the loss of Life Orb leaves it lacking in power. Thunder Wave can also be used on this set as a last-ditch effort to stop an opposing sweeper. Cosmic Power / Psycho Shift / Stored Power / Roost can be used with a Flame Orb to set up and spread burns, being nearly impossible to break if allowed to set up, but it is incredibly vulnerable to Incineroar, weak without boosts, and very vulnerable to critical hits, making its use hard to justify over sets based on Calm Mind and Air Slash. The combination of Calm Mind and Roost can be used on an offensive set to boost Sigilyph's power but requires it to give up valuable coverage.

Checks and Counters
===================
**Dark-types**: Specially defensive Incineroar takes little from anything Sigilyph can use aside from Air Slash and threatens it out with a Knock Off, but it is very susceptible to being worn down. Sneasel cannot switch in comfortably on Sigilyph's most used move, Air Slash, but can KO it with its STAB moves and threatens to Pursuit trap it. Guzzlord and Malamar can generally take most of Sigilyph's attacks and threaten it with super effective Dark-type moves.

**Faster Attackers**: Faster attackers such as Heliolisk, Choice Scarf Passimian, and Aerodactyl are all able to heavily damage Sigilyph and outspeed it easily. Heliolisk and Aerodactyl are especially of note, as both of them resist Sigilyph's main STAB attack in Air Slash, and Aerodactyl can threaten to Pursuit trap it.

**Electric-types**: Electric-types such as Rotom and Heliolisk take little from Sigilyph's Air Slash and threaten to OHKO it with their STAB Electric-type moves.

**Specially Defensive Pokemon**: Articuno takes little from anything that Sigilyph can do to it and threatens to heavily damage it Sigilyph with a STAB Freeze-Dry. Mega Audino has Regenerator before Mega Evolving to mitigate any damage done to it and can use Knock Off to remove Sigilyph's Life Orb. Cryogonal does not comfortably switch into Sigilyph, as it fears Heat Wave, but it does threaten Sigilyph out.

**Ice-types**: Mega Glalie, Choice Scarf Vanilluxe, and Mega Abomasnow threaten to heavily damage or KO Sigilyph with Double Edge, Blizzard, and Ice Shard, respectively, while Cryogonal can switch into Air Slash and force out Sigilyph easily, only fearing Psyshock.

Whoops, forgot to get this up.

C&C is a bit bare, would be appreciative for more suggestions, as I can't just say "Don't give it too many switchin opportunities"

-This low bulk also heavily limits its switch in opportunities, as it takes significant damage even from neutral attacks. you could do something about its typing here too and how it is part of the reason it can't switch in well (not many resistances)
-While its Special Attack is good, its not great, meaning that Sigilyph doesn't hit absurdly hard unless its hitting super effectively.

-Air Slash boasts great neutral coverage, hitting Incineroar harder than any other coverage option, as well as hitting enemy Fighting- and Grass-Types.

-Protect can be used to scout Choiced opponents such as Passimian and Sneasel, making playing against both of them significantly easier.
-Roost restores 50% of Sigilyph's HP, letting it heal up against passive opponents such as Blastoise, and on predicted switch-outs, such as against Vileplume just say "Roost lets Sigilyph recover health vs passive Pokemon like x, y, and z, ...". imo no need to list that it's 50% of Sigilyph's HP; that's a bit too dex-info-y for my liking
-Psyshock can be used to hit enemy Golbat and Cryogonal harder than any of Sigilyph's other attacks, having a chance to OHKO specially defensive Cryogonal after Stealth Rock damage.

Set Details
========
-Magic Guard lets Sigilyph ignore Stealth Rock and Toxic damage, as well as nullifying recoil from Life Orb.
-Life Orb gives a significant power boost, and thanks to Magic Guard, its recoil is nullified.
-Maximum Special Attack gives Sigilyph maximum attacking power.
-Maximum Speed and a Timid nature gives Sigilyph the ability to outspeed enemy Rotom, as well as enemy Vivillon. merge this sentence with the previous (and I personally would make the evs the first mention, but that's totally up to you)

Usage Tips
========
-Sigilyph should be brought in on predicted double switches, or when the opponent is predicted to use Toxic, both of which minimize the damage it takes.
-Foes that cannot damage Sigilyph significantly such as Blastoise, Seismitoad, and Torterra are excellent switchin opportunities. merge this with the above idea; they're both communicating when to get Sigilyph in (and I'd argue Xatu is a more relevant mention than Blastoise, but eh?)
-If using Roost, try to heal up vs predicted switches, for example if Sigilyph is in against a Vileplume
-Air Slash is generally Sigilyph's safest move to use, hitting the dark types that most enemies will try to bring into it, such as Incineroar and Sneasel.
-Do not be afraid to let Sigilyph die to an enemy Pursuit or Knock Off if your team has a sweeper that can set up on either of the two.
something about using protect to scout choice item pursuit trappers like sneasel, band aero, scarf doom, etc

Team Options
========
-Stealth Rock users such as Steelix, Rhydon, and Diancie are excellent partners, as Sigilyph relies on Stealth Rock for many 2HKOs and OHKOs. examples?
-Friendly sweepers that can set up on enemy Dark types such as Incineroar, Klinklang, and Calm Mind Diancie are excellent partners, and take advantage of the opponent Pursuit trapping Sigilyph, or KOing it with Knock Off. if you're talking about Choiced trappers then you could specify that; otherwise, this is fine (could add a Comfey mention over either the Incineroar or Diancie one to avoid repetition with examples)
-Sigilyph takes on enemy Grass-Types well, so pokemon weak to Grass attacks such as Rhydon, Slowbro, and Seismitoad can be excellent partners. word this better so that it doesn't sound like you're hard switching into a Whimsicott or Dhelmise lol
-Dark-resists such as Passimian, Incineroar, and Diancie are good partners, as they come in on one of the more frequent ways Sigilyph is threatened.
-Pokemon weak to fighting such as Heliolisk and Scrafty appreciate Sigilyph's ability to come in on Fighting-Type attacks, and then subsequently threaten the opposing team.

Other Options
=============
-A set of Calm Mind / Cosmic Power / Air Slash / Roost with Flyinium-Z and an ev spread of 252 HP / 136 Def / 120 Speed with a Timid Nature is an incredibly potent win condition if enemy Flying-resists are taken out, and can be nearly impossible to stop if the opponent cannot take it out early enough, aside from critical hits.
-Tinted Lens can be used with Choice Specs to fire off incredibly strong attacks that are nearly impossible to resist, letting Sigilyph 2HKO Slowking with Psyshock, and 2HKO Steelix with Air Slash, however suffers vulnerability to Stealth Rock. also doesnt get to act as a scald/status absorber due to no roost/magic guard
-Defog can be used along side Magic Guard to come in on, and remove almost any combination of enemy hazards, however Sigilyph's low bulk means that this is often inefficient, and better done by Xatu. this also means you're giving up on safety (protect/roost) or coverage
-Thanks to Magic Guard, Sigilyph can be an excellent user of Focus Sash, as if played properly its Focus Sash is nearly impossible to break, however this leaves it lacking in power. Thunder Wave can also be used on this set as a last ditch effort to stop an enemy Sweeper. Focus Sash sets should only be used on Hyper Offensive teams. somehow merge this sentence with the first. something like "Sigilyph can be an excellent Focus Sash user on hyper offensive teams" works.
-Cosmic Power / Psycho Shift / Stored Power / Roost can be used to set up and spread burns, being nearly impossible to break if allowed to set up, but is incredibly vulnerable to enemy Incineroar, as well as being very vulnerable to critical hits. mention its item explicitly and how its super fucking weak without multiple boosts
-The combination of Calm Mind and Roost can be used on an Offensive set to boost Sigilyph's power, but requires it to give up valuable coverage.
-Dazzling Gleam can be used to heavily threaten enemy Dark Types such as Guzzlord and Scrafty, but Air Slash is usually enough to hit both of them. you could mention Druddigon too I guess

Checks and Counters
===================
**Dark Types**: Specially Defensive Incineroar takes little from anything Sigilyph can use aside from Air Slash, and threatens it out with a Knock Off, however is very susceptible to being worn down. . Sneasel cannot switch in comfortably on anything except Energy Ball can switch into anything on Sigilyph's 4th moveslot too tbf, but threatens to KO Sigilyph with its STAB moves, and threatens to Pursuit Trap it. Guzzlord and Malamar both can generally take most of what Sigilyph can do, and threaten it with Super-Effective Dark moves.

**Faster Attackers**: Faster attackers such as Choice Scarf Passimian, Heliolisk, and Aerodactyl are all able to threaten to OHKO Sigilyph while outspeeding it easily. Heliolisk and Aerodactyl are especially of note, as both of them resist its main STAB in Air Slash, and Aerodactyl can threaten to Pursuit it. 252 Atk Passimian Knock Off (97.5 BP) vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Sigilyph: 240-284 (84.2 - 99.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO change OHKO to KO

a section for generic specially defensive Pokemon could work. you could move the incin mention to down here and I guess replace its line with Houndoom (and call it pivot Incineroar imo since it's really more of a mixed wall at the end of the day).

if you wanted you could add a section for Electric-types, since all of them can pivot in on at least two of Sigilyph's moves really safely. rotom and lisk being the best two options since they arent weak to anything of sigi's, so list them first ofc.

Audino-Mega has Regenerator to mitigate any damage done to it, and can use Knock Off to remove Sigilyph's Life Orb. Cryogonal does not comfortably switch into Sigilyph, as it fears Heat Wave, but threatens it out.

i would honestly just add ice-types here, sneasel and aboma (this wasnt here when this was written tbf) more often than not threaten this out, as well as scarf vani and cryo when lacking shock

Sigilyph should be brought in on predicted double switches, or when the opponent is predicted to use Toxic, minimizing the damage it takes. This also extends to enemies such as Xatu, Seismitoad, and Torterra, which cannot damage Sigilyph significantly. Stealth Rock can help to turn many of Sigilyph's 3 hit KOs into 2 hit KOs, so try to get up Stealth Rock up early in a match, especially if facing Incineroar. If using Roost, try to heal up vs predicted switches, for example if Sigilyph is in against a Vileplume. Air Slash is generally Sigilyph's safest move to use, hitting the dark types that most enemies will try to bring into it, such as Incineroar and Sneasel. Do not be afraid to let Sigilyph die to an enemy Pursuit or Knock Off if your team has a sweeper that can set up on either of the two. If using Protect, use it to scout choiced opponents that may use a Dark attack, for example Pursuit trappers such as Sneasel and Aerodactyle, or Knock Off users such as Passimian.

Stealth Rock users such as Steelix, Rhydon, and Diancie are excellent partners, as Sigilyph relies on Stealth Rock for many 2HKOs and OHKOs, such as against Rhydon with Energy Ball. Mold Breaker Druddigon also makes a great partner, taking on Heliolisk, and being able to set up Stealth Rock against Xatu. Friendly sweepers that can set up on Choiced Dark Type attacks such as Incineroar, Klinklang, and Comfey are excellent partners, and take advantage of the opponent Pursuit trapping Sigilyph, or KOing it with Knock Off. Sigilyph threatens Grass Types such as Vileplume, Torterra, and Sceptile, so pokemon weak to Grass attacks such as Rhydon, Slowbro, and Seismitoad can be excellent partners. Dark-resists such as Passimian, Incineroar, and Diancie are good partners, as they come in on one of the more frequent ways Sigilyph is threatened. Pokemon weak to fighting such as Heliolisk and Scrafty appreciate Sigilyph's ability to come in on Fighting-Type attacks, and then subsequently threaten the opposing team. Pokemon that resist Ice, such as Klinklang and Incineroar help take on the Ice-Types that threaten Sigilyph. spikes users are worth a mention imo

-Tinted Lens can be used with Choice Specs to fire off incredibly strong attacks that are nearly impossible to resist, letting Sigilyph 2HKO Slowking with Psyshock, and 2HKO Steelix with Air Slash, however suffers vulnerability to Stealth Rock, as well as being vulnerable to status.
-Defog can be used along side Magic Guard to come in on, and remove almost any combination of enemy hazards, however Sigilyph's low bulk means that this is often inefficient, and better done by Xatu, as well as giving up significant coverage.
-Thanks to Magic Guard, Sigilyph can be an excellent user of Focus Sash, especially on Hyper Offensive teams, as if played properly its Focus Sash is nearly impossible to break, however this leaves it lacking in power. Thunder Wave can also be used on this set as a last ditch effort to stop an enemy Sweeper. Focus Sash sets should only be used on Hyper Offensive teams.
-Cosmic Power / Psycho Shift / Stored Power / Roost can be used with a Flame Orb to set up and spread burns, being nearly impossible to break if allowed to set up, but is incredibly vulnerable to enemy Incineroar, weak without boosts and very vulnerable to critical hits.
-The combination of Calm Mind and Roost can be used on an Offensive set to boost Sigilyph's power, but requires it to give up valuable coverage.
-Dazzling Gleam can be used to heavily threaten enemy Dark and Dragon Types such as Guzzlord, Scrafty and Druddigon, but Air Slash is usually enough to hit them.

Checks and Counters
===================
**Dark Types**: Specially Defensive Incineroar takes little from anything Sigilyph can use aside from Air Slash, and threatens it out with a Knock Off, however is very susceptible to being worn down. . Sneasel cannot switch in comfortably on Sigilyph's most used move, Air Slash, but threatens to KO Sigilyph with its STAB moves, and threatens to Pursuit Trap it. Guzzlord and Malamar both can generally take most of what Sigilyph can do, and threaten it with Super-Effective Dark moves.

**Faster Attackers**: Faster attackers such as Choice Scarf Passimian, Heliolisk, and Aerodactyl are all able to threaten to heavily damage Sigilyph while outspeeding it easily. Heliolisk and Aerodactyl are especially of note, as both of them resist its main STAB in Air Slash, and Aerodactyl can threaten to Pursuit it.

**Electric Types**: Electric types such as Rotom and Heliolisk take little from Sigilyph's Air Slash, and threaten to OHKO it with their STAB electric moves.

**Specially Defensive Pokemon**: Type:Null takes little from anything that Sigilyph can do to it, and threatens to heavily damage it with a STAB Frustration. Audino-Mega has Regenerator to mitigate any damage done to it, and can use Knock Off to remove Sigilyph's Life Orb. Cryogonal does not comfortably switch into Sigilyph, as it fears Heat Wave, but threatens it out. null got nuked from vr so id mention something like cuno instead

**Ice Types**: Sneasel, Choice Scarf Vanilluxe and Abomasnow-Mega threaten to heavily damage or KO Sigilyph with Knock off, Blizzard and Ice Shard respectively, forcing it out, while Cryogonal can switch into Air Slash and force out Sigilyph easily, only fearing Psyshock.

If you must mention Cosmic Power + Stored Power on the Psycho Shift set, mention how it is entirely eclipsed by Calm Mind + Air Slash variants (with Psycho Shift), which are more immediately powerful, amass power much more quickly (and by extension makes it less susceptible to crits), and aren't utterly helpless against Dark-types. The extra Defense boosts won't be missed as burn can largely make up for that.

-Dazzling Gleam can be used to heavily threaten enemy Dark and Dragon Types such as Guzzlord, Scrafty and Druddigon, but Air Slash is usually enough to hit them.
Air Slash hits Scrafty harder while Ice Beam hits Druddigon harder, so Dazzling Gleam pretty much only targets Guzzlord here. You could make more mention of Sigilyph's coverage, such as Signal Beam for Malamar, but each of its coverage not already mentioned hit so few targets individually that personally I wouldn't bother including these in OO.

[OVERVIEW]

Sigilyph has access to Magic Guard, one of the best abilities in the game, which gives it immunity to all passive damage, including Stealth Rock damage, Toxic poison damage, and Life Orb recoil. This is combined with (AC) good speed Speed, good enough special attack Special Attack, and an incredibly wide offensive movepool, (RC) letting let Sigilyph act as a potent wallbreaker that can still pose a threat to offense thanks to its speed. A wide supporting support movepool including Roost, Calm Mind, and including utility options such as Thunder Wave and Defog lets Sigilyph sustain itself using Roost, act as a wincon using Calm Mind, and generally support its team. However, Sigilyph is stuck with fairly low bulk, leaving it easily pursuit trapped by Sneasel, (RC) and vulnerable to being revenged killed by attacks such as Passimian's Knock Off. This low bulk, (RC) and its susceptibility to enemy the opponent's coverage moves also heavily limit its switch in switch-in opportunities, as it Sigilyph takes significant damage even from neutral attacks, being easily 2HKO'd 2HKOed by Steelix's Heavy Slam. While its Special Attack is good, its not great Sigilyph's Special Attack is good but not great (I felt something was wrong with flow), meaning that so Sigilyph doesn't hit absurdly hard unless its it's hitting super effectively.

Moves
========
Air Slash boasts great neutral coverage, hitting Incineroar harder than any other coverage option, as well as hitting enemy Fighting- and Grass-Types. Heat Wave is Sigilyph's best option against Steel types such as Steelix and Silvally-Steel, notably hitting Silvally-Steel for a 2hko most of the time if Stealth Rock is up. Energy Ball hits Rock-Types such as Rhydon and Diancie for super effective damage, OHKOing Rhydon most of the time after Stealth Rock, and and 2HKOing Diancie most of the time. It also hits enemy opposing Slowbro and Slowking harder than any of Sigilyph's other attacks. Roost lets Sigilyph recover health against Passive pokemon such as Blastoise and Torterra, as well as on predicted switch outs switch-outs, such as Vileplume. Protect can be used to scout Choiced opponents Choice users such as Passimian and Sneasel, making playing against both of them significantly easier. Psyshock can be used to hit Golbat, Heliolisk (AC) and Cryogonal harder than any of Sigilyph's other attacks, having a chance to OHKO specially defensive Cryogonal and OHKOing Heliolisk both after Stealth Rock damage.

Set Details
========
Magic Guard lets Sigilyph ignore Stealth Rock and Toxic poison damage, as well as nullifying recoil from Life Orb. Life Orb gives a significant power boost, and thanks to Magic Guard, its recoil is nullified. Maximum Speed and Special Attack, as well as a Timid nature (AC) gives give Sigilyph the ability to outspeed enemy Rotom while maximizing its power.

Usage Tips
========
Sigilyph should be brought in on predicted double switches, (RC) or when the opponent opposing Pokemon is predicted to use Toxic, (RC) minimizing to minimize the damage it takes. This also extends to enemies Pokemon such as Xatu, Seismitoad, and Torterra, which cannot damage Sigilyph significantly. Stealth Rock can help to turn many of Sigilyph's 3 hit KOs 3HKOes into 2 hit KOs 2HKOs, so try to get up Stealth Rock up early in a match, especially if facing Incineroar. If using Roost, try to heal up vs (casual diction) predicted switches, for example if Sigilyph is in against a Vileplume. Air Slash is generally Sigilyph's safest move to use, hitting the dark types Dark-types that most enemies opponents will try to bring into in to it, such as Incineroar and Sneasel. Do not be afraid to let Sigilyph die to be KOed by an enemy Pursuit or Knock Off if your team has a sweeper that can set up on either of the two. If using Protect, use it to scout choiced opponents Choice item users that may use a Dark Dark-type attack, for example Pursuit trappers such as Sneasel and Aerodactyle Aerodactyl, (RC) or Knock Off users such as Passimian.

Team Options
========
Friendly (doesn't mean anything useful) sweepers Sweepers that can set up on Choiced Dark Type Dark-type attacks from Choice item users such as Incineroar, Klinklang, and Comfey are excellent partners, (RC) and take advantage of the opponent opposing Pokemon Pursuit trapping Sigilyph, (RC) or KOing it with Knock Off. Sigilyph threatens Grass Types Grass-types such as Vileplume, Torterra, and Sceptile, so pokemon Pokemon weak to Grass Grass-type attacks such as Rhydon, Slowbro, and Seismitoad can be excellent partners. Dark-resists Dark-type resists such as Passimian, Incineroar, and Diancie are good partners, as they come in on one of the more frequent ways Sigilyph is threatened. Pokemon weak to fighting the Fighting-type such as Heliolisk and Scrafty appreciate Sigilyph's ability to come in on Fighting-Type Fighting-type attacks, (RC) and then subsequently (both adverbs mean the same thing) threaten the opposing team. Pokemon that resist Ice, such as Klinklang and Incineroar help take on the Ice-Types Ice-types that threaten Sigilyph. Friendly Spikes users such as Garbodor make good partners, capitalizing on the switches that Sigilyph forces (period)

Follow this structure: Kyurem-Black is a menacing wallbreaker; however, many powerful Pokemon with super-effective moves can take advantage of its low speed. Many of the mistakes in this analysis were obvious; I suggest going over Smogon's Spelling and Grammar Standards.

I changed the wording in many places. Thank you for the help on the commas, as I messed up in a few cases.

I disagreed with the following changes:

as well as giving gives up significant coverage. (this change is incorrect and flows worse)

but threatens to KO Sigilyph with its STAB moves and threatens to Pursuit trap it. (the threat of pursuit meaningfully changes how the matchup plays, however others may disagree)

Additionally, the blurb at the end of your AMGP check may drive off people from wanting to implement your check if you do something similar in the future, as it comes off as unnecessarily hostile.

Cosmic Power / Psycho Shift / Stored Power / Roost can be used with a Flame Orb to set up and spread burns, being nearly impossible to break if allowed to set up, but it is incredibly vulnerable to Incineroar, weak without boosts, and very vulnerable to critical hits, making its use hard to justify over Calm Mind / Air Slash based sets based on Calm Mind and Air Slash. The combination of Calm Mind and Roost can be used on an offensive set to boost Sigilyph's power but requires it to give up valuable coverage.

Checks and Counters
===================
**Dark-types**: Specially defensive Incineroar takes little from anything Sigilyph can use aside from Air Slash and threatens it out with a Knock Off, but it is very susceptible to being worn down. Sneasel cannot switch in comfortably on Sigilyph's most used move, Air Slash, but can KO
it with its STAB moves and threatens to Pursuit trap it. Guzzlord and Malamar can generally take most of Sigilyph's attacks and threaten it with super effective Dark-type moves (why is there a Malamar mention on a current year analysis).

**Faster Attackers**: Faster attackers such as Choice Scarf Passimian,(RC) Heliolisk, Choice Scarf Passimian,(AC, current order implies Scarf Aerodactyl is a set) and Aerodactyl are all able to heavily damage Sigilyph and outspeed it easily.

**Specially Defensive Pokemon**: Articuno takes little from anything that Sigilyph can do to it and threatens to heavily damage it Sigilyph with a STAB Freeze-Dry(AH). Mega Audino has Regenerator before Mega Evolving to mitigate any damage done to it and can use Knock Off to remove Sigilyph's Life Orb. Cryogonal does not comfortably switch into Sigilyph, as it fears Heat Wave, but it does threaten it Sigilyph out.

**Ice-types**: Sneasel Mega Glalie, Choice Scarf Vanilluxe, and Mega Abomasnow threaten to heavily damage or KO Sigilyph with Knock Off Double Edge, Blizzard, and Ice Shard, respectively, while Cryogonal can switch into Air Slash and force out Sigilyph easily, only fearing Psyshock.(just some changes to reflect the new drop + you already used Sneasel in a different section)
