RU Sigilyph [QC 3/3] [GP 2/2]

qc: roman / teachable / mraldo
gp: cryogyro / tdp

[OVERVIEW]

Sigilyph is an offensive Defogger that can threaten entry hazard setters like Nidoqueen, Roserade, Mega Steelix, and Registeel with its combination of Psychic and Heat Wave. Magic Guard prevents damage from Stealth Rock, Life Orb, and status, allowing Sigilyph to avoid chip damage and use Defog more consistently. However, Sigilyph is largely outclassed by other hazard control options such as Mandibuzz and Gligar, which can check a lot of threats due to their superior bulk, and by Mega Blastoise, which offers better offensive presence. Because Sigilyph's Speed stat is only decent for an offensive Pokemon, it will struggle to revenge kill faster threats such as Shaymin, Virizion, and Salazzle. Bad defensive typing and bulk also leave it weak to common threats like Tyrantrum and susceptible to coverage moves found on Pokemon like Feraligatr, Virizion, and Mega Blastoise. Vulnerability to Pursuit from Pokémon like Drapion is another factor that makes it more unreliable. The prevalence of defensive Pokemon such as Mandibuzz, Milotic, and Porygon2 is a big problem, since Sigilyph can't beat them reliably with its STAB moves.

[SET]
name: Offensive Defog
move 1: Psychic
move 2: Heat Wave
move 3: Roost / Air Slash
move 4: Defog
item: Life Orb
ability: Magic Guard
nature: Timid
evs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========

STAB Psychic lets Sigilyph hit entry hazard setters like Nidoqueen and Roserade and OHKO Toxicroak and Bewear. Heat Wave is the preferred coverage move to hit Steel-types like Bronzong, Mega Steelix, and Escavalier, which would otherwise wall Sigilyph completely. Roost keeps Sigilyph healthy during the match with proper prediction and is important for beating hazard setters like Registeel. Air Slash is a secondary STAB option to OHKO Virizion. Defog is the main niche of the set, allowing Sigilyph to support teammates that are weak to Stealth Rock like Yanmega and Golisopod.

Set Details
========

Maximum Special Attack and Speed investment with a Timid nature makes Sigilyph able to outspeed the likes of Roserade and Toxicroak and hit as hard as it can. Life Orb is mandatory to boost Sigilyph's power and make it able to OHKO defensive variants of Escavalier with Heat Wave. Magic Guard is also necessary to protect it from Stealth Rock, Life Orb, and status damage.

Usage Tips
========

Utilize slow pivots like Mega Ampharos, Gligar, and Mandibuzz to bring Sigilyph in safely. Roost is best used when forcing switches from slower Pokemon like Bewear and Machamp to heal so Sigilyph can find better opportunities to attack or use Defog later in the match. Utilize Magic Guard to switch into passive Pokemon like Milotic and Cresselia and remove entry hazards, especially if running Roost. When Sigilyph is on field, it’s usually good to use an appropriate coverage move, but you have to be attentive in the presence of Pokemon like Drapion and Sneasel, which can switch in on Psychic and Pursuit trap it. If the opposing team lacks a Pursuit trapper, Sigilyph can enter much more aggressively, especially against bulky builds that rely on status and hazard damage.

Team Options
========

Pokemon that beat Mandibuzz like Tyrantrum, Mega Abomasnow, and Rhyperior are very appreciated, since they can remove Sigilyph's most prevalent counter and provide offensive presence or hazard support. Choice Specs Yanmega is another very good partner, since it can pressure a lot of Sigilyph's checks such as Cresselia, Mandibuzz, and Bronzong with its strong Bug Buzz, open the way for Sigilyph to spam Psychic and Air Slash more freely, and circumvent its big Stealth Rock weakness with Sigilyph's Defog. Virizion can help by taking out Pokemon like Milotic and Porygon2, while Sigilyph can beat the likes of Nidoqueen and Dragalge. Fire-types such as Entei, Ninetales, and Salazzle appreciate Sigilyph's ability to keep the field clean with Defog.

[SET]
name: Calm Mind
move 1: Psychic
move 2: Heat Wave
move 3: Roost
move 4: Calm Mind
item: Life Orb
ability: Magic Guard
nature: Timid
evs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========

Psychic is the best STAB option to threaten Fighting- and Poison-types immediately. Heat Wave handles Pokemon that resist Psychic such as Bronzong, Escavalier, and Registeel. Roost is essential on this set to recover HP and set up reliably. Calm Mind boosts Sigilyph's Special Attack and Special Defense to help it break through defensive cores and take special hits from Pokemon like Necrozma and Salazzle.

Set Details
========

Maximum Special Attack and Speed investment is mandatory for making Sigilyph as strong and fast as possible. Life Orb is the preferable item for punching holes along with Calm Mind boosts. Magic Guard protects Sigilyph from passive damage, which is amazing for a setup sweeper.

Usage Tips
========

With this set, Sigilyph can get opportunities to set up against Pokemon like Dragalge and Roserade after the Special Attack drop from their Draco Meteor and Leaf Storm as well as against Choice-locked Pokemon like Bewear, Emboar, and Gardevoir when they are locked into resisted moves. It also can get in against passive threats like Milotic, Florges, and Bronzong without Gyro Ball to set up and hit hard after some Calm Mind boosts. Roost must be used whenever it gets chipped down to minimize the chance of getting KOed by a critical hit after the boosts from Calm Mind. Try scouting for moves that can potentially stop Sigilyph from using Calm Mind comfortably, like Hidden Power Ice from Shaymin and Thunder Wave from Porygon2 and Cresselia. It's also good to reveal Calm Mind only when it's absolutely necessary, and this set must be careful about setting up when switch-ins still exist, especially Pursuit trappers.

Team Options
========

Tyrantrum, Bewear, and Rhyperior are great partners for pressuring Pokemon that aren't threatened by Sigilyph after boosts, like Mandibuzz, Porygon2, and Drapion. Virizion and Meloetta can form Calm Mind cores with Sigilyph to bypass each other's checks due to the use of Z-Moves like Bloom Doom, All-Out Pummeling, and Gigavolt Havoc. Pokemon that are able to take on Pursuit trappers like Drapion and Sneasel, including Rhyperior, Mega Steelix, and Escavalier, are a must. Sigilyph also likes the pivoting support of Flygon, Mandibuzz, and Rotom-H. Speed control such as Thunder Wave from Porygon2 and Sticky Web from Araquanid allows Sigilyph to outpace threats like Virizion and Salazzle.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

Other coverage options like Ice Beam, Flash Cannon, and Energy Ball can be used to beat Pokemon like Flygon, Diancie, and Rhyperior but are suboptimal due to the scarce number of targets. A Calm Mind + 3 attacks set can be used to punch holes in defensive cores but lacks the longevity given by Roost. Icium Z and Ice Beam can be used on such a set as a way to lure Mandibuzz effectively. A Focus Sash + Thunder Wave or Tailwind set can be used as an emergency button to revenge kill faster Pokemon like Salazzle and Virizion, and Sigilyph is a perfect Pokemon for this role, since Magic Guard ensures it will always take a hit. Flame Orb + Psycho Shift can be used to cripple threats like Bewear and Honchkrow and spread burns on defensive Pokemon such as Bronzong and Mega Steelix. However, this set will underwhelm in power due to the lack of Life Orb.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Mandibuzz**: Mandibuzz is a full stop to Sigilyph, since it is immune to Psychic, takes little damage from Air Slash and Heat Wave, easily takes out Sigilyph with Foul Play or Knock Off, and can outlast Sigilyph by using Roost properly.

**Rock-types**: Diancie, Gigalith, Tyrantrum, and Rhyperior can take most of Sigilyph's moves when it lacks Flash Cannon or Energy Ball and retaliate with powerful STAB attacks or set entry hazards to pressure the opposing team. Lycanroc-D can set up Swords Dance on it and proceed to break through its partners with Splintered Stormshards, but it has to be careful of Focus Sash variants.

**Dark-types**: Drapion is immune to Psychic and can threaten Sigilyph with a powerful Knock Off or Pursuit to remove it from the match. Umbreon can take virtually anything from Sigilyph and use Wish to heal its teammates or proceed to beat Sigilyph with Foul Play.

**Faster Attackers**: Choice Scarf users like Tyrantrum and Flygon can scare Sigilyph out with Head Smash or Outrage. Other Pokemon like Virizion, Mismagius, Zygarde-10%, and Salazzle can take it out with their STAB attacks or Z-Moves.

Banned deucer.
as a side note you need to fix the title so that it reads "Sigilyph [QC x/3]", right now the order is wrong.
--
you need to tag me once you are done implementing the following. i will come back once you're done and look over it again for 1/3. if you have any questions i would be glad to help - roman#4216

my comments for qc are in blue, comments for gp are in purple
grammatical errors are fixed with strikethrough and bold
fluff/irrelevant information is cut out by strikethrough as well
[OVERVIEW]

i'm not sure why you have semi colons at the end of some points but they need to be changed to periods. i'm not a gp checker but you will not have 1/3 until this is done, this is important for all of your analyses.

- Sigilyph is a offensive Defogger that can threat hazard setters like Nidoqueen, Roserade and Steel-types like Steelix and Bronzong due to the combination of Psychic and Heat Wave; | at least drop the bronzong example, if not both. bronz literally 1v1s sigilyph and mega steelix does 88 max with heavy slam.
- It has a fantastic ability in Magic Guard, that makes Sigilyph Stealth Rock damage and Life Orb recoil, giving it some longevity alongside Roost and making it able to absorb status; hard to follow. make this something like,"Magic Guard mitigates damage Stealth Rock, Life Orb, and status damage, allowing it to more consistently do x."
- However, Sigilyph is largely outclassed by other hazard control options such as Mandibuzz, Gligar, and Mega Blastoise. another Pokémon with hazard control like Mandibuzz, Gligar and Mega Blastoise, that can check a lot of threats or offer a better offensive presence; You need to either remove the last part or make it a new sentence with examples, it's very hard to follow all of that in one sentence. you can either make a new sentence or drop the examples in the first one (mandi / glig / mega blastoise) and just say "However, Sigilyph is largely outclassed by other hazard control options that can check a lot of threats or offer a better offensive presence."
- 97 base Speed makes Sigilyph loose an important speed tier, being outsped by Pokémon it would be supposed to check like Shaymin, Virizion and Salazzle; difficult to follow. make this "Because Sigilyph's Speed stat is only decent for an offensive Pokemon, it will struggle to revenge kill faster threats such as Shaymin, Virizion, and Salazzle."
- It's typing and poor bulk leaves it vulnerable to powerful threats in the tier like Tyrantrum and Honchkrow, and also coverage moves from the likes of Feraligatr, Virizion and Blastoise; change it to "Bad defensive typing and bulk leaves it weak to common threats like Tyrantrum and also leaves it susceptible to coverage moves found on Pokemon like Feraligatr, Virizion, and Mega Blastoise."
- Vulnerability to Pursuit from Pokémon like Drapion and Honchkrow is another factor that makes it more unreliable;
- The prevalence of defensive Pokémon in Mandibuzz, Milotic and Porygon2 is a big problem, since Sigilyph can't beat them reliably with it's STAB moves.

i'm not going to re write your entire analysis for you but i'm letting you know that this is gonna be a pain for gp to check so if there's a star (*) by a point you need to consider going back and re writing it.

Moves
========

- Psychic is the best STAB letson Sigilyph and can hit Pokémon hazard setters like Nidoqueen and Roserade while disencouraging the use of hazard setting, alsoand OHKOing Toxicroak and Bewear;
- Heat Wave is the preferable preferred coverage move to hit Steel-types like Bronzong, Mega Steelix and Escavalier that would otherwise wall it completely and threaten it with their moves. fluff
- Air Slash is a secundary secondary STAB option to hit Pangoro and Chesnaught, which is OHKOed, and also neutrally hit Cresselia. Roost may be an option to keep itself healthy, but it usually will not be able to switch into the majority of the tier and abuse it; | you need to change the chesnaught example since it dies to psychic. also change this to "Air Slash is a secondary STAB option to OHKO Pangoro and x." i feel like hitting cresselia neutrally is super irrelevant since you do like what 20 to it lol?
* make roost its own bullet point and explain how it's important for sigi so that it can beat rockers like registeel

- Defog is the main niche of the set and makes allows it available to support teammates that are weak to Stealth Rock like Yanmega and Moltres.

Set Details
========

- Maximum Special Attack and Speed investment with a Timid Nature makes Sigilyph able to outspeed the likes of Yanmega and Moltres while hitting as hard as it can. change the examples, you used the same ones in literally the last sentence
- Life Orb is mandatory to boost Sigilyph's power and make it able to OHKO Pokémon like Bewear and Escavalier with Psychic and Heat Wave; unboosted Heat Wave will OHKO Choice Band escavalier, so you need to change the example or at least specify which set Life Orb lets it OHKO. also - 252 SpA Sigilyph Psychic vs. 4 HP / 0 SpD Bewear: 378-446 (98.9 - 116.7%) -- 93.8% chance to OHKO - | this example is going to have to be changed as well. please use the calculator so that what you're saying is factually correct.
- Magic Guard is also necessary to protect it from Stealth Rock and Life Orb damage. | mention avoiding damage from status like toxic and

Usage Tips
========

- Sigilyph is best used when paired with some kind of pivoting to back up it's poor bulk and give it a free turn to hit. hard to follow and the "best used when paired with" comes off as a team option. change this to "Utilize slow pivots like X and X to bring Sigilyph in safely."
- When it is on field, you have to be attentive with switches to Pokémon like Mandibuzz that wall it completely. Psychic may be a safe option if the opponent has only Steel-types to check it, and taking no damage from Life Orb makes it life much more easier. *
- When running Roost, it's best used into predicted switches to take no damage and find better oportunities opportunities in the match. | better opportunities for what..?
| you need at least four usage tips. i would do five since some of these are more common sense than tips

Team Options
========

- Pokémon that are able to beat Mandibuzz like Tyrantrum, Mega Abomasnow, and Rhyperior are very appreciated, since they can remove Sigilyph's biggest dead end and provide offensive presence or hazard support.
- Yanmega is a very good partner to Sigilyph, since it can pressure a lot of Sigilyph's checks such as x, x, and x with a strong Tinted Lens Choice Specs-Boosted Bug Buzz and open the way for Sigilyph to spam Psychic and Air Slash more freely. | you need examples here.
- Virizion and Shaymin can help by taking out Pokémon that Sigilyph can't beat without Energy Ball, like Milotic and Rhyperior, while Sigilyph can beat the likes of Roserade and Toxicroak. | a bit irrelevant, we know that milo walls it. change the rhyperior example 252 SpA Life Orb Sigilyph Psychic vs. 248 HP / 244 SpD Rhyperior: 187-220 (43.1 - 50.8%) -- 49.2% chance to 2HKO after Stealth Rock
- Speed control is very appreciated with Sigilyph, since it makes it able to outspeed and threat Pokémon like Virizion and Salazzle with Psychic. Sticky Web support from the likes of Araquanid or Thunder Wave from Cresselia and Porygon 2 can help it a lot. hard to follow. make this "Speed control such as Thunder Wave from Porygon2 or Sticky Web from Araquanid allows Sigilyph to outpace threats like Virizion and Salazzle."

- Flame Orb + Psycho Shift can also be used to cripple threats like Escavalier, Honchkrow and spread burns in defensive Pokémon such as Milotic, Bronzong and Mega Steelix. This comes with a great decrease in power, though, since this set lacks the power from Life Orb. change escavalier example since heat wave shits on it. drop milotic since it runs refresh very commonly and even if it doesn't a burn only makes it more of an issue due to marvel scale.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Mandibuzz**: Mandibuzz is a complete dead stop to Sigilyph bar the rare Ice Beam, since Mandibuzz is immune to Psychic and taking takes little damage from Air Slash and Heat Wave, while it takes it out completely with Foul Play or Knock Off and can outlast it by using Roost properly. 252 SpA Life Orb Sigilyph Ice Beam vs. 248 HP / 240+ SpD Mandibuzz: 164-195 (38.7 - 46%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock. consider dropping that all together since you lose to specially defensive defog. even the faster taunt toxic sets running no special defense investment knock off your life orb and beat you 1v1 unless you manage to get max rolls.

**Rock-types**: Diancie, Gigalith, Tyrantrum and Rhyperior can take most of Sigilyph moves when it lacks Flash Cannon or Energy Ball and retaliate with powerful STABs or set hazards to pressure the opposing team. Lycanroc-Dusk can set up Swords Dance on it and proceed to break its partners with Splintered Stormshards. consider removing lycanrock sentence since sash beats lycan 1v1 if it swords dances and life orb energy ball KOs lycanroc after slight chip

**Dark-types**: Honchkrow and Drapion isare immune to Psychic and can threaten Sigilyph with a powerful Knock Off or Pursuit to remove it from the match., although Honckrow have to be aware of Air Slash. Umbreon can take virtually anything from Sigilyph and use Wish to heal its teammates or proceed to beat Sigilyph with Foul Play.

- Flame Orb + Psycho Shift can also be used to cripple threats like Bewear, and Honchkrow and spread burns in defensive Pokémon such as Bronzong and Mega Steelix. This comes with a great decrease in power, though, since this set lacks the power from Life Orb. However, this set will lack in power due to the lack of Life Orb. easier to follow

Checks and Counters
===================

**Mandibuzz**: Mandibuzz is a dead stop to Sigilyph, since Mandibuzz is immune to Psychic and takes little damage from Air Slash and Heat Wave, while it takes it out completely with Foul Play or Knock Off and can outlast it by using Roost properly.

**Rock-types**: Diancie, Gigalith, Tyrantrum and Rhyperior can take most of Sigilyph moves when it lacks Flash Cannon or Energy Ball and retaliate with powerful STABs or set hazards to pressure the opposing team. Lycanroc-Dusk can set up Swords Dance on it and proceed to break its partners with Splintered Stormshards, but it has to be aware of Sash variants.

Other Pokemon like Virizion, Mismagius, Zygarde-10%, and Salazzle can take it out with their STABs or Z-Moves.

[OVERVIEW]

Sigilyph is an offensive Defogger that can threaten hazard setters like Nidoqueen, Roserade, Mega Steelix and Registeel due to the combination of Psychic and Heat Wave. Magic Guard avoids damage Stealth Rock, Life Orb, and status damage, allowing it to avoid chip damage and Defog more consistently. However, Sigilyph is largely outclassed by other hazard control options such as Mandibuzz, Gligar, that can check a lot of threats due to their superior bulk, and Mega Blastoise, which offer a better offensive presence. Because Sigilyph's Speed stat is only decent for an offensive Pokemon, it will struggle to revenge kill faster threats such as Shaymin, Virizion, and Salazzle. Bad defensive typing and bulk leaves it weak to common threats like Tyrantrum and also leaves it susceptible to coverage moves found on Pokemon like Feraligatr, Virizion, and Mega Blastoise. Vulnerability to Pursuit from Pokémon like Drapion is another factor that makes it more unreliable. The prevalence of defensive Pokémon in Mandibuzz, Milotic and Porygon2 is a big problem, since Sigilyph can't beat them reliably with its STAB moves.

Moves

Psychic STAB lets Sigilyph hit hazard setters like Nidoqueen and Roserade and OHKO Toxicroak and Bewear. i wouldnt mention toxicroak here cause it usually runs sucker punch allowing it to heavily damage sigilyph. Heat Wave is the preferred coverage move to hit Steel-types like Bronzong, Mega Steelix and Escavalier that would otherwise wall it completely. Roost keeps Sigilyph healthy during the match with proper prediction and is an important option to beat hazard setters like Registeel. Air Slash is a secondary STAB option to hit and OHKO Pangoro. id add another example here cause it seems like a pretty useless move if u only hit one not very relevant mon. maybe mention its good enutral coverage with psychic and heat wave? Defog is the main niche of the set and allows it to support teammates like Yanmega and Moltres that are weak to Stealth Rock.

Set Details
========

Maximum Special Attack and Speed investment with a Timid Nature makes Sigilyph able to outspeed the likes of Roserade and Toxicroak replace croak while hitting as hard as it can. Life Orb is mandatory to boost Sigilyph's power and make it able to OHKO defensive variants of Escavalier with Heat Wave. Magic Guard is also necessary to protect it from Stealth Rock, Life Orb and status damage from Toxic and Burn.

Usage Tips
========

Utilize slow pivots like Mega Ampharos, Gligar and Mandibuzz uturn mandi is pretty uncommon, id use another example here. to bring Sigilyph in safely. Roost is best used into predicted switches against slower Pokémon like Bewear and Machamp to take no damage and find better opportunities in the match to hit or Defog. Abuse Magic Guard to switch into passive Pokemon like Milotic and Cresselia and Defog, especially if running Roost.mention it should try and get burnt/toxicd cause then it cant get paralyzed/put to sleep which is really good on an offensive pokemon that relies on its speed tier to function. When it is on field, it’s usually good to use an appropriate coverage move, but you have to be attentive with switches to Pokémon like Drapion and Sneasel that can switch in on Psychic and Pursuit trap it. If the opposing team lacks a Pursuit trapper, Sigilyph can enter much more aggressively, specially on fat builds that rely on status and hazard damage.

Team Options
========

Pokémon that beat Mandibuzz like Tyrantrum, Mega Abomasnow, and Rhyperior are very appreciated, since they can remove Sigilyph's biggest dead end in Mandibuzz and provide offensive presence or hazard support. Yanmega is a very good partner to Sigilyph, since it can pressure a lot of Sigilyph's checks such as Cresselia, Mandibuzz, and Bronzong with a strong Tinted Lens Choice Specs-Boosted Bug Buzz and open the way for Sigilyph to spam Psychic and Air Slash more freely. Virizion can help by taking out Pokémon like Milotic and Porygon2, while Sigilyph can beat the likes of Nidoqueen and Dragalge. Speed control such as Thunder Wave from Porygon2 or Sticky Web from Araquanid allows Sigilyph to outpace threats like Virizion and Salazzle. remove the mention of sticky webs here, its not a great archetype in general and there are better abusers than sigilyph, not to mention webs + defog is a terrible combo. maybe mention another twave user like cresselia

Psychic is the best STAB option to threat Fighting- and Poison-types right away. Heat Wave keeps Pokémon that resist Psychic such as Bronzong, Escavalier, and Registeel. Roost is essential in this set to recover HP and setup reliably. Calm Mind boosts Sigilyph Special stats to help it breaking defensive cores and taking special hits from Pokémon like Necrozma and Salazzle.

Set Details

Maximum Special Attack and Speed investment is mandatory to being as strong and fast as possible. Life Orb is the preferable item option to help punching roles along with Calm Mind boosts. Magic Guard is a great ability to protect it from passive damage, what is essential for a setup sweeper. mention some pokemon that magic guard allows it to set up on like regi maybe

Usage Tips
========

With this set, Sigilyph can get opportunities to setup against Pokémon like Dragalge and Roserade after the Special Attack drop from Draco Meteor and Leaf Storm, and Choice-locked Pokémon like Bewear, Emboar emboar isnt very relevant, try using another example here and Gardevoir when they are locked in Fighting- or Psychic-type moves. It also can get in against passive threats like Milotic it cant set up on milotic because it just hazes the boosts, and ice beam variants bop it too, Florges, and Bronzong without Gyro Ball this is a very uncommon bronzong variant to setup against them and hit hard after some Calm Mind boosts. Roost must be used whenever it gets chipped down to minimize the chance of getting killed by a critical hit after the boosts from Calm Mind. Try scouting moves that can potentially stop Sigilyph from using Calm Mind comfortably, like Hidden Power Rock from Shaymin, and Thunder Wave from Porygon2 and Cresselia. It's also good to reveal Calm Mind only when it's really show up to be useful, and this set must be careful with switch-ins, specially about getting Pursuit trapped. this sentence is pretty confusing. say something like "try and avoid revealing calm mind until it is able to sweep because..." probably separate the point about pursuit too, since theyre completely unrelated.

Team Options
========

Tyrantrum, Bewear, and Rhyperior are great partners to pressure Pokémon that aren't threatened by Sigilyph after boosts, like Mandibuzz, Porygon2, Drapion. Virizion and Meloetta can form CM Spam cores with Sigilyph to bypass each other sets due to the use of Z-Moves like Bloom Doom, All-Out Pummeling and Gigavolt Havoc. Pokémon able to take on Pursuit trappers like Drapion and Sneasel are a must, such as Rhyperior, Steelix and Escavalier. Sigilyph also likes support through the pivoting of Flygon, Mandibuzz and Heliolisk. heliolisk is unviable. try another example.

Other coverage options like Ice Beam, Flash Cannon and Energy Ball can be used to beat Pokémon like Flygon, Diancie, and Rhyperior, but are suboptimal due to the scarce amount of targets. A Calm Mind + 3 Attacks set can be used to punch holes in defensive cores, but lacks the longevity given by Roost. Icium Z can be paired with this set as a way to lure Mandibuzz effectively. A Focus Sash + Thunder Wave or Tailwind set can be used as an emergency button to kill faster Pokémon like Salazzle and Virizion, and Sigilyph is the perfect Pokémon for this role, since Magic Guard ensures it will always take a hit. Flame Orb + Psycho Shift can also be used to cripple threats like Bewear and Honchkrow and spread burns in defensive Pokémon such as Bronzong and Mega Steelix. However, this set will lack in power due to the lack of Life Orb. maybe a mention of tinted lens but magic guard is too good to pass up + yanmega mostly outclasses that set

GustavoYAY no idea what happened but I didnt get the tag from this forum. My apologies.

Anyways

- I agree that on the Defog Set you gotta mention another Air Slash target. Mention Virizion alongside Pangoro since Life Orb Psychic do miss the KO on Viriz from full while Air Slash straight up OHKOs
- This bit " Speed control such as Thunder Wave from Porygon2 or Sticky Web from Araquanid allows Sigilyph to outpace threats like Virizion and Salazzle." feels more suited for the Calm Mind set since it somewhat contradicts the supportive nature of the defog set to me. It rolls way better with a Calm Mind set since this set would appreciate the speed drop a lot more and would be seeing on teams with araquanid than a defog one.
- On that, you can mention more partners that appreciate that are hazard weak and appreciate defog set. Fire-types like Salazzle or Entei can go here.
- Rotom-Heat over Heliolisk on the team options for the calm mind set.

Looks pretty good. QC 3/3 when implemented
