Silly Things You've Seen In Other Metagames

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/monotype-264756047
Normal Garchomp using Earth Power. Against a Flying mono. And it actually hit, thanks to (presumably) predicting Mega Pidgeot would use Roost.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/balancedhackmons-264755109
Deoxys-D and Froslass get into a hazard stacking war. Until Deo uses Rapid Spin. Later, Sturdinja with Crunch, and multiple attempts to status it (including with Searing Shot) failing, until Discharge stuck a paralysis, only to trigger the nearly requisite Lum Berry.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-264751044
Someone was testing Choice Scarf. On Ekans.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-264753116
Facade Rotom-F (which it used, un-statused, against Aggron), Elekid, Unfezant, Cradily trying to Toxic an (already paralyzed) Aggron, and DD Feraligatr falling for Destiny Bond Wobbuffet.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-264755118
4 mon team failing hard against Shell Smash Cloyster.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-264757602
Water mono with Wartortle vs. Entrainment Truant Durant failing against Arceus-Water and FEAR Starly getting the final kill.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-264758502
V-Create Smeargle getting a kill (against FEAR Rattata), Chill Drive Genesect, Electivire, and Flamethrower Talonflame.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-264757311
I don't even know... Combusken, Effect Spore Breloom, Darkrai Dark Voiding a paralyzed Kangaskhan, Drain Punch Mega Gengar, and others.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-264761734
Lone Endure+Reversal Hitmonlee gets a sweep against a very derpy team, including Agility+Speed Boost Ninjask. Gotta go fast.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-264762833
A team of mons, most of which would be shit in LC, takes on AG. Hilarity happens from turns 9 through 12, when Kyogre misses 3 Origin Pulses in a row, then goes for Sheer Cold, which actually hits.

http://pokemonshowdown.com/replay/monotyperandombattle-264879889

Even though this was a dodged game, I find that this would have been interesting. Either team could have both been mono water, or polar opposites with Ground Vs Ice. Although, the possibility is also there for a Water Vs Ground or Water Vs Ice, I find that there was a possibility a decent challenge. The point that I find silly is that the they gave up without finding out. I will always try and win, even if the odds are not in my favor.

Hmm...
- Thunder Kyogre
- freaking Rock Polish Registeel
- the chat
- left calling NOCturnal Hunter scrub when he/she's got shitty movesets
- saying standard sets such as u-turn registeel are stupid
And of course these:
★WeepAngel:lol im just going to go ahead and ignore you right now
★WeepAngel:I'm going to go play an actual game now, so you can have fun with whatever psycho movesets you call "good" XD

★reNOC: >.<
★reNOC: I want you to go
He wouldn't stop gitting Parahax on his Registeel, which was kinda ruining my plan.

★reNOC: wow...
★reNOC: using twave on a PH mon
He tried to use Thunder Wave on my already poisoned PH Giratina. Does that sound smart?

★reNOC: lol
★WeepAngel: who?
★WeepAngel: is that idiotic
Thinking the saying "lol" is something's name.

- That last move on that Registeel of his? It was Iron Head. It was a sweeping Registeel.
Edit: I just wanted to add on this battle

Focus Punch/Dynamic Punch/Zen Headbutt/Psychic Sableye (three of them), Blizzard/Megahorn Absol, Hydro Pump Gyarados, so many type chart fails it's ridiculous, and somehow burned Lando-T nearly cleans up. Maybe you might want to swap out one of your Klefki for a Liepard or something.

And you're a Mario & Luigi fan, I see.

Replay has all the weird af sets like offensive lefties mew, work up mega pidgeot

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-265475604 this wouldn't be on here normally, but that Lapras moment was amazing. This is why i use Surf or Scald usually.
Quadruple Hydro Miss. (And one turn of confusion hax.) You have less than a 1% chance of that happening. Oh, my baby, my poor, poor baby...it wasn't even your fault.

So:

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-265489846
Klefki trying to T-Wave Primal Groudon, Teeter Dance/Dizzy Punch Mega Lopunny, Eruption/Lava Plume Primal Groudon, Rock Tomb Primal Kyogre, and Needle Arm Swagger Cacturn presumably with a King's Rock (turn 17).

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-265491718
Offensive Blissey with DG/Psychic (Psychic/Fairy is an awesome attacking combo; see: Gardevoir, Alakazam) doing all of 12% to Jellicent, who is, admittedly, fairly bulky. Jelly sets up three Acid Armors and starts swinging. Also Shadow Ball Metagross, and Volcarona scores a burn on Alakazam, who literally could not care about that. In fact, that's good--now it can't be paralyzed! A forfeit soon follows.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-265493497
Eeveelution team on the right, Gen 1 squad including Pikachu on the left. Two Magic Bounce fails, Ferro has Ingrain, Ferro does not get the hell out on the obvious Fire move (Flame Charge, which is alright because Guts boost), Sylveon with Draining Kiss who whiffs a WishProtect and goes down, Espeon needlessy foddered, Payback Umbreon puts in work, and Pikachu wins the game. Both players seem to have had fun, at least.

The hackmons 1v1 ladder is complete cancer, and I am proud to admit i'm part of it.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/hackmons1v1-266510585
INNER FOCUS GEOMANCY RAYQUAZA. I'd actually faced this guy before, and it was Simple in the previous battle, suggesting he changed it to inner focus just to counter me.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/hackmons1v1-266523518
Never mind random protect on Slaking, that thing used to have speed boost. Also PP stall Giratina.

Some misc. cancerous things I've seen on the ladder that I didn't save replays for:

  • Toxic/Bullet Punch/Spiky Shield Shedinja without Sturdy.
  • Fake Out/Ice Punch intimidate MMX.
  • Random mons with Protect.
  • Feint Kyu-B. I faced the same person earlier, and they didn't have Feint.
  • Prankster Lugia with a shitload of speed creep added to it.

AnybodyAgrees TI mentioned that someone used Feint Kyube, and that it was probably to counterteam TI. And that first battle you linked, that person would have had Simple Draco Meteor, which is a very bad combination.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-266528377

Got screwed over by Effect Spore Amoonguss.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-266531902

Ferrothorn knew Explosion, non-mega Zard (with no other megas on his team), Mewtwo with no speed investment, and that Azumarill set.

This is OU, not OM, but I can't find the OU thread.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-266746435 <- physical sylveon.

...I should add an OM one here, shouldn't I?

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/monotype-266749554 <- Zapdos used Roost at 90%, when it was established faster (actually slower, but that was in trick room, which was over). Not awful, but I want an OM replay here so I don't break the rules.
