Silly Things You've Seen On The OU Ladder!

Random Shit volume 12: We Broke Doubles Edition
-Samurott. Really?
-In the hax department, two consecutive SpD drops by Shadow Ball.
-Alakazam using Psyshock when all of its remaining opponents were Dark type.
-Electrode. Well, that's one way to have a fast Volt Switch user.
-Some Mega Mawile using Foul Play on a Raikou that it intimidated before mega evolving.
-Wish Togetic and Murkrow, going up against a Weak Armor Skarmory that had not been taking advantage of its speed boosts by spamming Whirlwind.
-Someone thinking, "My Garchomp is gonna get killed by that +2 Breloom... I know! I'll switch in Greninja!"
-Same Garchomp (after getting healed by Wish) using EQ on a ballooned Aegislash. Twice.
-Dual Chop Mega Lucario. Okay...
-This one is just plain ridiculous: http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-80837353
-Speaking of hax, a Mienshao used Rock Slide three times. It missed all three times.

-Some Mega Mawile using Foul Play on a Raikou that it intimidated before mega evolving.
Forget Raikou and Intimidate, using Foul Play on Mega Mawile just blows my mind.
>Uses the Pokemon with the highest Attack stat in the game
>Uses the opponent's Attack stat instead
Now that's a level of stupid I can only see as intentional...

Nevermind, I apparently still don't know how to Pokemon.
Here's a recap of this battle : Hyper Beam + Sing Blissey, Dark Pulse Chandelure (man, Girafarig and Meoletta really seem like huge threats according to these battles), Abomasnow with both Blizzard and Ice Beam (because being able to use an accurate Ice move after 5 turns is defenitely worth the moveslot), and, of couse, Swirlix. Because Slurpuff is too much for OU to handle.
-Speaking of hax, a Mienshao used Rock Slide three times. It missed all three times.
Ouch. So much for choosing it over Stone Edge...

Actually, Huge Power doubles the power of physical moves used by the Pokémon. So a Huge Power Foul Play against something with a higher base Attack is very nasty indeed.

Edit2: Never mind.

Did not know that. Still, you'd be much better off going for Sucker Punch or Play Rough.
Unless you only invest in defenses...
That might actually kinda work...

I saw a offensive mixed milotic no dragon tail just aqua tail, waterfall, whirlpool, and water gun...
Offencive Milotic can somehow work, though. Milotic with Ability Competitive can utilise the abundance of Sticky Web and Intimidate. Considering Milotic's respectable base SpA and bulk, it can somehow usable, albeit Thundurus I and T would give some problem...

But Mixed Milotic is just plain stupid, especially with Water Gun.

>Deoxys-D with Poison Jab and not setting hazards/screens.
>Head Smash Aegislash in OU. That thing has no place outside of Uber Tier's defensive Aegislash as an emergency weapon.
>Non-Protean Greninja.
>Fly Hydreigon.
>Not switching Gardevoir in on Hydreigon's Outrage.
>Blizzard Marowak.
>Synchronoise Mega Gardevoir. (How did Greninja do that little damage to it? 4- SpA Greninja Dark Pulse vs. 252 HP/0 SpD Mega Gardevoir? The hell?)
>Synchronoise on anything ever.
>Fire Blast on a Heatran.
>Toxic on a Steel-type.

Why is Synchronoise so sucky, anyway? I can think of a good way to buff it: Let it hit just as any normal Psychic-type attack would, with the exception of gaining super-effectiveness against the user's types.

also

>stone edge/dark pulse heatran
>all the fail plays (example: moonblasting a heatran with sylveon)
>aguav berry

Dunno if you guys noticed, but that replay is from August 12th, 2013. It's not new. And according to the text chat in the replay, it was fixed the same day.

Also, http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-81062696
>Quick Attack Yanmega
>Toxic Garchomp
>Non Mega Ampharos
And more...
-Venomoth used Sludge Bomb!
-It doesn't affect Lucario...
I don't think that's how Tinted Lens works. That Arcanine was clutch, though.

Edit: Random Shit volume 13: New Page Edition
-Power Herb Solarbeam Charizard. It also had Flare Blitz and EQ.
-Sashed Dragonite.
-Passing Swords Dance to Klefki.
-Using a Trick Room Reuniclus against said Klefki.
-Registeel with Hone Claws, EQ, Focus Blast, and Flash Cannon.
-Multiple instances of a Venusaur ignoring Goodra's Sap Sipper.
-Eelektross with Rest, Sleep Talk, Coil, and Dragon Tail, holding Light Clay.
-EQ Heatran.
-Substitute Forretress... with Focus Band.
-Shedinja. It went up against a Sableye, got taunted, then got burned.
-A Smeargle using Spore against a Gliscor that had already activated its Toxic Orb.
-Sashed Lucario. It also used EQ against a Rotom-W.
