[OVERVIEW]

With access to boosting moves in Swords Dance and Flame Charge alongside a good offensive typing and strong stats, Silvally-Ghost makes for a strong setup sweeper. However, it faces stiff competition from the likes of Silvally-Fairy, which offers teams a stronger defensive typing with a plethora of useful resistances for a setup sweeper whilst maintaining the same coverage, meaning it's much more versatile and can fit on a wider variety of teams. Likewise, it also struggles to compare to other Ghost-types in the tier, such as Palossand and Jellicent, which provide teams excellent defensive support thanks to their solid secondary typing with useful immunities and supportive movepool.

[SET]

name: Swords Dance
move 1: Swords Dance
move 2: Multi-Attack
move 3: Flame Charge
move 4: Explosion / U-turn / X-Scissor
item: Ghost Memory
ability: RKS System
nature: Jolly
evs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]

Explosion is outstanding for its ability to provide a one-time nuke versus defensive checks such as Miltank and Scrafty. However, U-turn can be used as a way to gain momentum against slower Dark-types like Guzzlord. X-Scissor a way to actively sweep and still acquire the Bug-type coverage U-turn would provide. Ribombee makes a great partner thanks to its ability to not only offensively check Dark-types like Absol, but it also provides Sticky Web support. Additionally, Silvally-Ghost can act as a spinblocker against the likes of Alolan Sandslash and Claydol and use either of them as setup fodder. Virizion makes a good offensive partner not only for its ability to check common Ghost-immune Pokemon such as Miltank, but it can pressure defensive checks to Silvally-Ghost like Scrafty and Regirock especially when safely brought in with U-turn. Garbodor is also a wonderful partner for its ability to provide Spikes support and both Virizion and Garbodor appreciate Silvally-Ghost's abilities of punishing all of the Psychic-types which threaten them such as Mesprit, Xatu, and Uxie.

[OVERVIEW]

With access to boosting capabilities in Swords Dance and Flame Charge alongside a good offensive typing and strong stats further supported by its ability to spinblock, Silvally-Ghost makes for a strong offensive sweeper on hazard-stacking teams who are in need of Silvally-Ghost's niche. Furthermore, its expansive movepool allows it to fit just about any coverage the team is dependent on, pivoting capabilities with U-turn, or a nuke with Explosion to get past defensive checks. i personally think x-scissor is more useful tbh, or even substitute to play around stuff like band absol However, it faces stiff competition from the likes of Silvally-Fairy; which it offers teams a stronger offensive typing (it doesnt actually, ghost is a better offensive typing n our ghost resists are way more uncommon than our fairy ones anyway, it's mostly just the defensive utility and getting more setup opportunities in general with the same coverage bonus and a plethora of useful resists, meaning it's much more versatile and can fit on a wider variety of teams. Likewise, it also struggles to compare to other Ghost-types in the tier such as Palossand and Jellicent, which provide teams excellent defensive support. Because of these traits, Silvally-Ghost best fits on aggressive teams relying on offensive pressure supported by entry hazards.

Silvally-Ghost is effective at being a late-game cleaner or early-game breaker due to its strong offensive capabilities. Swords Dance and Flame Charge grant Silvally two stat-boosting methods, whereas Multi-Attack is its signature move and strongest STAB. Explosion is outstanding for its ability to provide a one-time nuke versus defensive checks such as Miltank and Scrafty, however U-turn can be used for added momentum as well as a way to punish Dark-types on the switch-in such as Guzzlord. not just on the switchin - u can always attack and then u-turn due to ghostvally being faster than like, all of our relevant darks Ribombee makes a great partner thanks to its ability to not only offensively check Dark-types like Absol, but it provides Silvally-Ghost Sticky Web support. Additionally, Silvally can act as a spinblocker from the likes of Sandslash-Alola Alolan Sandslash or Claydol and threaten back with a Flame Charge or Multi-Attack respectively use them as set up fodder. Virizion makes a good offensive partner not only for its ability to check common Ghost-type immunes such as Heliolisk not a problem bc flame charge already does a chunk and Miltank, but it can break through defensive checks to Silvally-Ghost like Guzzlord, Scrafty, Miltank, considering u mention miltank here u might as well just get rid of the previous point here tbh, especially since it's like, not that common or Regirock, which would otherwise not fear even a Swords Dance-boosted Multi-Attack or would force an Explosion. Virizion appreciates Silvally-Ghost's ability to check Psychic-types like Xatu, Mesprit, and Uxie.

[OVERVIEW]

With access to boosting capabilities in Swords Dance and Flame Charge alongside a good offensive typing and strong stats further supported by its ability to spinblock drop the spin block bit (or move it around if you really want), occasionally relevant but has nothing to do with its sweeping ability, Silvally-Ghost makes for a strong offensive sweeper. Additionally, its expansive movepool allows it to fit just about any coverage the team is dependent on, pivoting capabilities with U-turn, or a nuke with Explosion to get past defensive checks I dont agree with this at all, we're giving it boom and bug move that's not really a huge thing to get past any mon. I can think of a lot of moves it would rather have. However, it faces stiff competition from the likes of Silvally-Fairy - what is this dash? idgi which offers teams a stronger defensive typing for a setup sweeper whilst maintaining the same coverage bonus and a plethora of useful resists, meaning it's much more versatile and can fit on a wider variety of teams. Likewise, it also struggles to compare to other Ghost-types in the tier such as Palossand and Jellicent, which provide teams excellent defensive support. because of their secondary typings especially, its lack of a secondary typing is huge for making it not good at non-SD stuff

Silvally-Ghost is effective at being a late-game cleaner or early-game breaker due to its strong offensive capabilities id just remove this sentence, not doing much. Explosion is outstanding for its ability to provide a one-time nuke versus defensive checks such as Miltank and Scrafty, however U-turn can be used for as a way to gain momentum on all of PU's slower dark types like Guzzlord. X-Scissor, however, is a way to actively sweep and still acquire the Bug-type coverage U-turn would provide. Ribombee makes a great partner thanks to its ability to not only offensively check Dark-types like Absol, but it provides Silvally-Ghost that's me trying to say remove the words Silvally-Ghost Sticky Web support. Additionally, Silvally can act as a spinblocker from the likes of Alolan Sandslash or Claydol and use either of them as setup fodder. Virizion makes a good offensive partner not only for its ability to check common Ghost-type immunes such as Miltank, but it can break through defensive checks to Silvally-Ghost like Scrafty or Regirock 'break through' is sorta generic and not useful, more accurately it pressures them and especially likes pairing with U-turn silvally-ghost to come in on those mons. Garbodor is also a wonderful partner for its ability to provide Spikes support and both Virizion and Garbodor appreciate Silvally-Ghost's abilities of punishing all of the Psychic-types who threaten them such as Mesprit, Xatu, and Uxie.

With access to boosting capabilities moves in Swords Dance and Flame Charge alongside a good offensive typing and strong stats, Silvally-Ghost makes for a strong offensive setup sweeper. offensive sweeper is redundant However, it faces stiff competition from the likes of Silvally-Fairy;(RS), (AC) which offers teams a stronger defensive typing with a plethora of useful resistances for a setup sweeper whilst maintaining the same coverage bonus and a plethora of useful resists this feels disconnected to the previous sentence, meaning it's much more versatile and can fit on a wider variety of teams. Likewise, it also struggles to compare to other Ghost-types in the tier,(AC) such as Palossand and Jellicent, which provide teams excellent defensive support thanks to each of them having a their solid secondary typing with useful immunities and their supportive movepool.

Explosion is outstanding for its ability to provide a one-time nuke versus defensive checks such as Miltank and Scrafty,(RC).(AP) however However, U-turn can be used for as a way to gain momentum on all of PU's against slower Dark-types like Guzzlord. X-Scissor, however, is can alternatively used as changed to avoid repetition of "however" structures a way to actively sweep and still acquire the Bug-type coverage U-turn would provide. Ribombee makes a great partner thanks to its ability to not only offensively check Dark-types like Absol, but it also provides Sticky Web support. Additionally, Silvally-Ghost can act as a spinblocker from against the likes of Alolan Sandslash or and Claydol and use either of them as setup fodder.
