Silvally-Ice (QC 0/3)

"Wow JdRDMS is doing the Icevally analysis. What a surprise." Yeah I know. But let's get down to the analysis itself!
Icevally is a pretty decent and underrated set up sweeper. Ice is a pretty solid offensive type, hitting several of the top threats super effectively, such as Supergeist, Golem, Altaria, etc. If you're against a slower offensive team, you can pretty much set up and watch your opponents crumble.

[Set]
Name: Swords Dance Sweeper
Move 1: Multi-Attack
Move 2: Swords Dance
Move 3: Fire Fang
Move 4: Thunderbolt / Zen Headbutt
Item: Ice Memory
Ability: RKS System
Nature: Jolly
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spe / 4 SpA (Thunderbolt) or 4 SpD (Zen Headbutt)

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========
- Fire Fang (murders Obama, as well as stuff like Bronzor (which also allows it to potentially get an easy +4 or +6 (depending on if it switches out or not) if it packs Rest but not Sleep Talk)
- Thunderbolt (allows it to deal massive damage to stuff like Floatzel and Basculin, and just Water-types in general).
- Zen Headbutt (destroys things like Combusken, Fightingvally, Muk, etc)

Set Details
========

- Because Ice is a pretty bad offensive typing, you want to be able to attack first. That's what the Speed is for.
- Full Attack because it's a setup sweeper.
- Special Attack to give Thunderbolt that little extra boost.

Usage Tips
========

- Make absolutely sure that you have a defogger. You don't want to be taking unnecessary damage.
- Obviously make sure you take care of its checks (see below) first, then proceed to setup and clean.
- Again, if Bronzor is packing Rest but not Sleep Talk, you can get free Swords Dances. Don't try to attack it.

Checks & Counters
========
- Pyukumuku: Even with Thunderbolt, Pyuku still walls Icevally, mainly due to Unaware.
- Rapidash: Rapidash can outspeed and OHKO Icevally
- Faster Offensive Mons: A near to fully complete lack of bulk investment makes Icevally a tad on the frail side. Aside from Rapidash, there's stuff like Zebstrika, Floatzel, etc.
- Probopass: Icevally can barely scratch Probo even at +2, and it's generally not safe to get to +6 against it, and even then it doesn't do too terribly much.

Team Options
========
- Since Icevally is weak to stealth rock, you REALLY want a defogger.
- Weakness Policy Golem is useful for Rapidash.
- Bring a Fighting-type to deal with Probo.
- Bring a Taunt user or a Stallbreaker for Pyuku.

Hey, I appreciate your enthusiasm and understand it, but as of right now we’re only doing analyses for Pokemon ranked B and up. After posting in the reservation thread, you will have to wait for a QC member to like your post as a sign of approval. This analyses was not approved and won’t be due to Silvally-Ice currently being unranked. Tagging Uselesscrab to lock and move.
