yeah, i probably should have made it clearer what i meant. as for XY, i don't know how they'll work. i don't believe NU is available as a playable tier in XY (someone correct me if i'm wrong), and with the new fairy type, i don't know how it'll all shake out. i'm sure some of the unevolved and middle-stage fairies will be awful, but if even one is very prevalent, it may push down dragonair, shelgon, et al. to unviable even in NU, so i didn't want to say unequivocally that it's still useful in NU

Not yet, they still need to figure out RU.

But at least some of the middle stages should be viable (Fraxure comes to mind, being able to get off a Dragon Dance or two surprisingly easily, then it can Poison Jab/Iron Tail said Fairy in the face, and keep going).

lf shiny modest gooey goodra shiny modest lugia multiscale if possible shiny modest togekiss
can offer shiny ev pkmn and event pkmn

Shiny Multiscale Lugia isn't possible.

yeah, i forgot about fraxure. in a 'back in my day....' sort of way, i haven't played NU since before RU even existed lol :P

EDIT: so i'm not spamming this thread, anyone have an emolga safari?

At least in Gen 5 NU, you could do fun stuff like +6/6/6 Butterfree sweeps.

If I face a pokemon using stockpile what happens when I use a move like Haze or Clear Smog? Do they lose their defense boosts and their charges or they'll only lose the boost and suffer a stat drop if they swallow the stacks?

They lose their boosts from Stockpile. I have no idea if they lose their charge, but Swallow sucks, don't use it.

I wouldn't lol. It's just a nasty surprise I want to make for maison/institute AI's that stall the hell out of my patience -_-

Also which Pokemon would be ideal to break through those mono-attacker tanks? I'm thinking something that's tanky but also packs a punch and can Taunt.

yeah, taunt's good. gengar is good for that stupid weezing.
can you use heatran in maison? if so, he'd be good: immune to will-o-wisp / toxic (and fire/poison moves altogether), can taunt, hits pretty hard, pretty bulky

I know you are talking about Weezing :p

Edit: what's a good nickname name for Trevenant? Was thinking Treebeard or Shadoak. Any opinions on these two or other suggestions?

Believe it or not, it's not about Weezing lol. I was running Greninja, Talonflame and Garchomp but I couldn't get past the water type tanks. All it took was a Lanturn stockpiling on the switch to survive Garchomp's EQ and then Ice Beam Hax, also Mono attacking Milotic is pretty hard to get through with Aqua Ring + Lefties and I could swear it also had Rest.
I was thinking maybe Swagplay or Double Screen Klefki would be an ok answer but I'm not entirely sure about who to replace in the first place.

Conkeldurr and Gliscor come to mind as physical taunt users. Ttar is also a taunt user who can set up your garchomp if it is mega. If not you could also use skarmory or Jellicent.
Edit: gotta watch out for the ice weakness shared by Gliscor, so he may not work. But ttar is bulky enough to tank some special water and Ice hits, especially with leftovers for some healing. I would switch out tflame (as awesome as he is)

With what Moveset should i go for a Brave Swampert in 3rd Gen? i was thinking about EQ/ Hydro Pump/ Ice Beam, but i can't decide about the 4th Moveset, should it put Rock Slide? or maybe Protect, Rest or even Toxic (it doesn't have Curse btw)? any help with this would be really appreciated.

Hey, is anyone on my friend list able to help me out with a quick trade evo? I'd like to turn my Onix into a Steelix :)

Edit: Thanks TyVip!

Can someone look at my Trade thread and give me input on how its set up looks, etc. (I know the selection is low, ignore that issue lol). I just spent an hour and a half or so messing around with it, and I want to make sure I didn't waste my time.

Looks good! I think it might be good to separate Nature and Ability into seperate lines, but otherwise it looks great! Very simple and classy ;)

Can't decide: Timid or modest nature for togekiss? I have a parent of each nature, so both are immediately doable.
The ones I run are Bold, Calm and Modest. Togekiss aint going to outspeed much so just focus on taking a hit and slamming back hard.
Real man runs Adamant Choice Banded Hustle Extreme Speed. Oh wait,.... It's a FAIRY now

Totally look like a Fairy .
----------------------------------------------------------
Aside from that, I'll go with Modest Nasty Plot for extra damage . Its base speed is 80 so it will not out-run its counter (garchomp, excadrill, steel types).

I'll probably go with modest since i already have one with that nature. Thinking of giving it morning sun.
I'll probably have to wait til Sunday to breed it, though. Baby pokemon are a pain in the butt to breed.

I am not real man. I am fake man. HUZZAH!
