Swampert @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Torrent
Level: 50
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold / Relaxed Nature
- Scald
- Ice Beam / Earthquake
- Stealth Rock
- Yawn

Swampert makes easy work of Landorus-Therian, with its nice bulk and Scald/Ice Beam. EQ is only a 3HKO with Scarf Lando-T and a 2HKO if you're worried about Choice Band Lando-T. However, Sitrus Berry can make this 2HKO possibly turn into a 3HKO, if the damage roll is low twice in a row. There's a very low chance of that happening, but you also have a chance to OHKO Lando-T with Ice Beam or burn with Scald. Thankfully Choice Band Lando-T isn't common. If you want to run EQ for Electric types, a Relaxed nature should be used instead of Bold and it is also suggested to run minimum speed so you can speed tie with min speed Aegislash and have a chance to OHKO it with EQ. Stealth Rock and Yawn work really well with each other as moves, and can help some pokemon set up and sweep.

0 SpA Swampert Scald vs. 252 HP / 8 SpD Landorus-T: 96-114 (48.9 - 58.1%) -- 93.8% chance to 2HKO
0 SpA Swampert Ice Beam vs. 252 HP / 8 SpD Landorus-T: 144-172 (73.4 - 87.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

So the icy blast of the North Wind wrecks Lando. This is the offensive UU set

Suicune @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 108 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpA / 4 SpD/ 140 Spe
Modest Nature
- Substitute
- Calm Mind
- Scald/Hydro Pump
- Ice Beam/Icy Wind

I've slashed in Hydro Pump and Icy Wind as alternates for power & speed control, which are always inherently useful in the metagame. I cannot overstate quite how much this destroys Lando so let the calcs speak for themselves on the offensive moves with no boosts against the Scarf set.

252+ SpA Suicune Scald vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Landorus-T: 140-168 (85.3 - 102.4%) -- 12.5% chance to OHKO (becomes 93.8% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock)
252+ SpA Suicune Hydro Pump vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Landorus-T: 194-230 (118.2 - 140.2%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252+ SpA Suicune Ice Beam vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Landorus-T: 212-252 (129.2 - 153.6%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252+ SpA Suicune Icy Wind vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Landorus-T: 132-156 (80.4 - 95.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Lando's most popular moves do no more than 54% in return, even if Suicune is Bold. If Lando is Jolly then he can only 3hko with Earthquake. Every set on the calculator is a guaranteed 2hko against Lando at worst.

Assault Vest is Lando's second most popular item and it still doesn't help.
252 SpA Suicune Scald vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Assault Vest Landorus-T: 86-104 (52.4 - 63.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252 SpA Suicune Hydro Pump vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Assault Vest Landorus-T: 116-140 (70.7 - 85.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252 SpA Suicune Ice Beam vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Assault Vest Landorus-T: 132-156 (80.4 - 95.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252 SpA Suicune Icy Wind vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Assault Vest Landorus-T: 80-96 (48.7 - 58.5%) -- 96.5% chance to 2HKO

Here's a fun fact to end on. Even if Lando has a Careful nature (not optimal or popular but run with it) with Lefties and Suicune is Bold, Icy Wind still does this:
252 SpA Suicune Icy Wind vs. 252 HP / 8+ SpD Landorus-T: 108-128 (55.1 - 65.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery.
And with Ass Vest
252 SpA Suicune Icy Wind vs. 252 HP / 8 SpD Assault Vest Landorus-T: 80-96 (40.8 - 48.9%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
And Lando cannot only do the same back
8 Atk Landorus-T Earthquake vs. 200 HP / 0+ Def Suicune: 64-76 (32 - 38%) -- 0.8% chance to 3HKO after Leftovers recovery

cant say edit: fixed the EV spread since it wasn't optimal for level 50 (4 EVs were wasted in both HP and speed). That's what you get for CPing a level 100 spread...

Chesnaught @ Leftovers / Rocky Helmet
Ability: Bulletproof
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Leech Seed
- Drain Punch
- Seed Bomb / Wood Hammer
- Spiky Shield / Stone Edge / Earthquake / Power-Up Punch

First thing that came to my head besides rotom-w but I didn't want to do another rotom as something that resists both ground and rock attacks. It doesn't take much from any of lando's coverage moves either.

Mostly standard chesnaught though I got rid of spikes since hazards aren't used much on battle spot. Last move is whatever your team needs more - Spiky Shield is great for extra chip damage, scouting, and getting more leech seed recovery. Stone Edge is useful for hitting any flying or fire types that try to switch in. Earthquake also hits fire types and also lets chesnaught hit aegislash with something. Power-Up Punch lets chesnaught get rid of the -1 atk from the intimidate and make it somewhat threatening if the opponent tries to stall.

252+ Atk Choice Band Landorus-T Superpower vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Chesnaught: 77-91 (39.4 - 46.6%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Leftovers recovery

This is lando's most powerful attack it can put out and it can't even 2HKO, not to mention the attack drops it gets.
Granted, chesnaught can't do a whole lot back, but that's what leech seed is for!

-1 4 Atk Chesnaught Wood Hammer vs. 4 HP / 0 Def Landorus-T: 52-63 (31.5 - 38.1%) -- 91.6% chance to 3HKO

Goodness you guys have really came out with stuff for Lando-T! With Cune and Bowser nominated like that already, I feel this week will be the craziest when it comes to voting! If Tflame was crazy damn this will be way beyond due to these Mons and their general viability outside of just the victim!

My pick is Cresselia but I really don't even feel it after seeing all of this since I personally am torn between Cune and Bowser! So I'll just put minimal text for Cress. Standard defensive set 252hp/252def/4speed @ Rocky helmet Ice Beam, Moonlight, Lunar Dance/Toxic/Psychic, Psychic/ThunderWave/Toxic Bold Nature

Immunity to ground stab, takes meh from coverage moves bar u-turn and knock off but this is where AV Lando-T with enough offensive investment might be able to pick off a weakened Cress and where Bowser triumphs! See!!! And then Cune has its perks too. Of course a well played Lando-T especially offensive variants can always do a nice chunk with eq before switching out vs Suicune as well so Bowser really counters and checks Lando-T flawlessly! Well well voting opens my vote is on Bowser haha but Cresselia also has the perk of Lunar Dance, Toxic stalling, twave support, a mix of both if desired, ULTRA CLERIC LUNAR DANCE, ultra defensive wall with rh and colossal defenses and moonlight, and arguably best trick room setter! So not bad AT ALL just Bowser haha is such a counter for lando-t it's hilarious. inb4 Fly Lando

Gliscor (F) @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
Level: 50
EVs: 244 HP / 20 Atk / 244 Def
Impish Nature
- Ice Fang
- Roost
- Toxic
- Protect/Earthquake

Nominating the infamous toxic staller itself, Gliscor!
Alright one thing sure is clear, and that is Landorus-Therian packing one of the strongest STABs in the metagame being a ground type and boasting an incredible 145 base attack, having Earthquake ready to spam at a moment's notice. Good thing Gliscor is part flying so it's naturally immune to any ground move Landorus-T decides to toss at it, making one less problem to worry about. Toxic Heal is by far one of the greater abilities out there and seeing Gliscor being able to use it means that despite a knock off, It can still heal up more with another roost+poison heal or return a game changing toxic. I've provided some calcs to demonstrate some of Landorus Therian's most used moves vs. a Gliscor to see how it would play out.

Cresselia @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Levitate
Bold Nature
252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
- Psychic
- Ice Beam
- Toxic
- Moonlight

Standard Cress. Landorus just tickles this thing.

252+ Atk Landorus-T U-turn vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Cresselia: 62-74 (27.3 - 32.5%) -- guaranteed 4HKO
252+ Atk Landorus-T Knock Off (97.5 BP) vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Cresselia: 84-100 (37 - 44%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
252+ Atk Landorus-T Stone Edge vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Cresselia: 44-52 (19.3 - 22.9%) -- possible 5HKO

Since the most effective hits make contact, scarf variants comes in range of Ice Beam

4 SpA Cresselia Ice Beam vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Landorus-T: 136-160 (82.9 - 97.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Defensive variants still live, but it does even less to Cress than the calcs above. Helmet damage x2 + Ice Beam knocks out Landorus, so Cress can just Moonlight all of its HP back.

4 SpA Cresselia Ice Beam vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Landorus-T: 132-156 (67.3 - 79.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

Skarmory @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Sturdy
Level: 50
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Impish Nature
- Iron Defense
- Iron Head
- Roost
- Toxic

Let’s go with something classic this week c: Nominating physically defensive Skarmory!
This set is a counter to the Choice Scarf, Assault Vest, Rocky Helmet and Focus Sash sets, as well as the rare variants which may run HP Ice or Toxic it can freely come in on any moves and then set up if wanted.
Iron Defense is a safety measure for Lando-T which may set up using Swords Dance.
Iron Head is useful for breaking subs for those rare Lando-T’s who use it.
Roost is reliable recovery~ and finally Toxic is a nice way to stall against offensive sets.
That’s pretty much it, yay.

Venusaur @ Venusaurite
ability: Chlorophyll
nature: Bold
evs: 252 HP / 180 Def / 76 SpD
- Leech Seed
- Synthesis
- Giga Drain
- Toxic / Sleep Powder / Sludge Bomb

Gliscor was going to be my first choice but I'm too slow. I guess I'll put my nom towards Mega Venusaur. Landorus-T does have trouble with some Grass-types and Mega Venusaur can outright wall Landorus-T. Landorus-T is usually an all-out-attacker. Mega Venusaur won't mind taking a Knock Off at all because it will be Mega Evolving anyway. It is able to take three Earthquakes, Landorus-T primary STAB attack. Anyway, lets get in with the set. Leech Seed can catch Landorus-T and drain some of its HP and heal Mega Venusaur's. Also you can predict a U-turn or switch and go for Leech Seed to drain another Pokemon's HP that isn't a Grass-type or have Magic Guard. Synthesis is used to stall out Landorus-T and other threats in conjunction with Toxic and Leech Seed. Giga Drain is a STAB move regaining any lost HP off the foe. Sleep Powder can be used instead to stall out with Leech Seed and Giga Drain. It can also give a free turn to use Synthesis. Sludge Bomb is another STAB for hitting Fairy- and Grass-types, although, I like Toxic better in shortening the enemy's health much faster. The 76 SpD allows Mega Venusaur to take special attacks a little better from other threats. Dealing with Rocky Helmet and Focus Sash, Mega Venusaur doesn't care about either. Assault Vest, even if Landorus-T does switch out with U-turn a Pokemon is bound to get hit by either Leech Seed or Toxic.

EDIT: Forgot to add calcs.

Alomomola @ Leftovers
Ability: Regenerator
Level: 50
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
- Toxic
- Wish
- Protect
- Scald/ Waterfall

This inferior Slowbro tries to make up for its inferiority by being able to Wishpass. Alomomola has absolutely terrible special attack, meanwhile its physical attack is only bad, so if you don't care for burns, you can use Waterfall instead of Scald (in which case your fish should be Impish instead of Bold). Ironically, though, Scald actually specifically hits Landorus harder because of Intimidate (unless it's carrying AV). Anyway, Toxic, Protect, and Wish are there for the obvious reasons, so Alomomola's terrible defense doesn't really affect its ability to beat Lando reliably. Unless it's running SD. But then again, when are you ever going to see SD Lando? Furthermore, Explosion is risky for Lando because of Protect. Also, like Slowbro, Alomomola gets Regenerator, so it will be able to come in on Lando multiple times despite the fact that the genie will inevitably U-Turn out as many times as possible.

Damage Calcs:
0 SpA Alomomola Scald vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Landorus-T: 56-68 (34.1 - 41.4%) -- guaranteed 3HKO :(

Lando-t can come in on any attack from Lando-t thanks to intimidate. Base 105 SpA isn't too bad and even with little investment, HP ice from lando-t is enough to 2hko most offensive Lando-t's. If they're AV then it's a 3hko but Lando-t can't 3hko you back anyway. If Lando-t wants to u-turn on you or knock off then they're going to get punished by Lando-t's Rocky Helmet(and if it's AV helmet damage can make hp ice a 2hko sometimes).

ye, didnt want to lower speed, or special attack
its +def -spdef

this set is mostly for dealing with physical attackers so i figure the spdef isnt too important.

edit: got sniped, thanks Artic haha
Lax and Gentle are never feasible though. Go for Naive if you want to keep/sacrifice those stats. (I think I've heard Naive HP Ice Lando T is a thing now due to a VGC thing)

What difference does that make..? Lax gives me more defense which is what i want, rather than speed. Why would I go naive on this set?

Just because Lax isn't common and it's very very niche, that doesn't mean it isn't "feasible". I'm not going to run a less effective nature just cause the one I want to use is seen as weird to some people who don't understand its reasoning lol

Sorry everyone, been really busy lately. Here's a set from me and we can start voting!

duck.PKM (Porygon2) @ Eviolite
Ability: Download
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Spe
Bold Nature
- Ice Beam
- Shadow Ball / Tri Attack / Discharge
- Recover
- Thunder Wave / Toxic / Hidden Power Ground

Switches in on Lando-T and grabs a handy SpA boost due to Lando-T's naturally lower base SpD, can tank an Earthquake (or any other move) with relative easy, and can OHKO Lando-T back with an Ice Beam. Shadow Ball gives coverage against annoying things like Mega Gengar and Aegislash, or you can use Tri Attack for STAB or Discharge for sweet dual coverage with Ice Beam. Recover for health so you can continue to walk physical hitters. The last slot is really up for grabs. You could literally use any of the slashes from the other moveslots that you haven't chosen, however since Lando-T would probably switch out in fear of an Ice Beam, inflicting the switch in with a status condition may be more beneficial. Thunder Wave can cause trouble for anything that relies on its speed stat and can give you the upper hand against heavily offensive teams. Toxic can help whittle down the health of things you can't really hurt with your attacks, and Hidden Power Ground hits most Steels super effectively, providing nice coverage with Ice Beam...

edit: oh yeah Trace is an option to give Lando an attack drop, but you need the Download boost to do significant damage to him (thanks for the reminder Luci)

Biggest thing for P2 to watch out for is Knock Off from Lando-T, it's a common move on it and makes P2 significantly less bulky. However for Lando-T to use it, it will need to sacrifice itself to an Ice Beam, so it ends up being a 1-for-1 trade off basically... Assault Vest makes Lando-T bulky enough to have a shot at surviving an Ice Beam but they aren't super common and at least then you know you aren't dealing with a Scarf one, lol.

Here's what was nominated for Landorus-T:
A lot of cool mons nominated this time, bulky waters seems like the most common way of checking Lando-T. I'm gonna have to vote for Creeper3971's Swampert set, it tanks landog's moves pretty well and can retaliate with STAB Scald or Ice Beam. It also has the handy Stealth Rock + Yawn combo, I've seen GroudonEmpire use this exact set on his youtube stream and it works a treat.

Remember guys, votes in bold and try to give a little reasoning with your post :)

Voting for cant say Porygon2 mainly due to the fact I've always used it in the majority of my battles ingame. I know this is a Download set, but I also admire and give props to its other ability Trace because it isn't bothered by Landorus-T's Intimidate along with other users that have that ability. It also gives a stop to certain Pokemon, copying their abilities as well. It has a wide movepool giving it ways to check various threats in the metagame and by far my favorite Pokemon in the metagame (next to Skarmory that is).

Voting for Pyritie because it is what I would have nominated. Chesnaught can wall anything that Lando-T throws at it unless it's special and can also help against many other Physical attackers. Only thing I may have added was Synthesis as an option somewhere.

My vote goes to bobochan. Skarmory can switch into any of Lando-T's moves and proceed to stall it out with the combination of Roost + Toxic. Skarmory also takes minimal damage from U-turn and Lando-T gets Rocky Helmet damage, so Lando will be hurting itself more if it decides to U-Turn out of a bad situation. I like the fact that Iron Defense is there to stop rare SD variants of Lando-T, and Iron Defense definitely has uses against other pokemon as well.

Voting bobochan for pretty much the same reasons as described by Creeper3971. Scarf Lando-T definitely isn't going to be able to Earthquake Skarmory on a normal game and Skarm resists Bug(U-Turn) as Well as being able to tank a Knock-Off or Stone Edge easily and keep roosting to stack up health while returning iron heads to wear down Landorus-T. Having 140 base Defense, Skarmory does not play around when taking down Lando-T.

Voting PikachuCandyツ because Gliscor can take a Toxic, unlike most of the other counters listed (Venu and Skarm can but Skarm pretty much needs to be on a dedicated stall team and has no way to deal damage aside from Toxic, while Venu can get worn down by switching in on too many EQs).
