Skuntank is a great stallbreaker in ZU; its Poison / Dark typing gives it various opportunities to set up against foes such as Uxie and Audino. While initially weak, Skuntank can pummel passive walls like Clefairy and Cofagrigus with Nasty Plot and its STAB coverage. Taunt can be used to prevent foes like Miltank and Pyukumuku from recovering HP and setup sweepers like Quiver Dance Frosmoth from setting up. Alternatively, Fire Blast helps Skuntank better break through Ferroseed and Frosmoth and 2HKOes Galarian Stunfisk after a Nasty Plot boost.

Skuntank fits best on offense and balance teams that appreciate its Toxic and Psychic immunities, stallbreaking, and ability to pressure Ghost-, Psychic-, and Fairy-types like Cofagrigus, Uxie, and Clefairy. Ground-types such as Rhydon, Silvally-Ground, and Piloswine are able to heavily pressure Skuntank; checks to them such as Basculin and Cramorant are appreciated. The aforementioned Water-types can also lure in Grass-types like Ferroseed and Tangela for Skuntank to take advantage of. Partners like Sawk and Swords Dance Silvally-Ghost benefit from Skuntank weakening foes such as Garbodor, Qwilfish, and Alcremie to clean late-game.

Other Options

Life Orb provides additional damage output, but the recoil damage limits Skuntank's longevity and makes it prone to entry hazards. Defog and Heavy-Duty Boots turn Skuntank into an offensive entry hazard remover, but this makes it inconsistent in its stallbreaking role.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Ground-types**: Ground-types such as Rhydon, Silvally-Ground, and Piloswine are able to take a boosted hit from Skuntank and OHKO it back with their STAB moves.

**Faster Offensive Threats**: Skuntank's mediocre Speed leaves it susceptible to faster attackers such as Rapidash, Kangskhan, and Cinccino. Special wallbreakers and pivots like Rotom and Basculin can also threaten to revenge kill Skuntank, preventing it from consistently performing its role. However, physical attackers should be wary of residual damage from Aftermath.

**Special Walls**: Although they do not appreciate Taunt and being poisoned by Sludge Bomb, special walls such as Wishiwashi and Type: Null are able to take boosted hits from Skuntank and pivot with U-turn, safely bringing in revenge killers to threaten it. Steel-types like Ferroseed and Galarian Stunfisk are able to wear down Skuntank if it lacks Fire Blast.

Skuntank is a great wallbreaker stallbreaker in ZU, capable of setting up with Nasty Plot and pummeling passive walls like Clefairy and Cofagrigus with Sludge Bomb and Dark Pulse. (Clarify that while Skuntank is initially weak, Nasty Plot makes it hard for walls to take on, and that it has opportunities to setup largely thanks to its great Poison / Dark typing. This point should be stressed because Skuntank is in a unique position compared to say Taunt Magmortar or Vanilluxe, as that typing and aforementioned STAB coverage is super anti-meta) Fire Blast helps Skuntank better break through Ferroseed and Frosmoth, and 2HKOes Galarian Stunfisk at +2 (Added gunfisk here because Fire Blast actually lets you win this 1v1 if fisk switches in considering its EQ is so weak; fisk otherwise counters skun). Alternatively, Taunt can be used to prevent foes like Miltank and Pyukumuku (added a stall example) from recovering HP and setup sweepers like Omastar from setting up. (Switch these two sentences now)

Skuntank fits best on offensive and balance teams that appreciate its Psychic-immunity immunities (broadened this to imply Toxic / Tspikes immuties as well, just as if not more appreciated) and ability to pressure Ghost-, Psychic, and Fairy-types like Cofagrigus, Uxie, and Clefairy. Ground-types such as Rhydon, Silvally-Ground, and Piloswine are able to heavily pressure Skuntank; checks to them such as Basculin and Cramorant are appreciated. The aforementioned Water-types can also lure in opposing Grass-types like Ferroseed and Tangela for Skuntank to take advantage of. Partners like Sawk and Swords Dance Silvally-Dragon benefit from Skuntank weakening foes such as Garbodor, Clefairy Qwilfish (variance in examples), and Alcremie to clean late-game.

Life Orb provides additional damage output, but the recoil damage limits Skuntank's longevity and makes it prone to entry hazards. Defog can be utilized with Heavy-Duty Boots to turn Skuntank into an offensive entry hazard remover, but this makes it unable to perform its role as a wallbreaker stallbreaker consistently and effectively.

**Ground-types**: Ground-types such as Rhydon, Silvally-Ground, and Piloswine are able to take a boosted hit from Skuntank and OHKO it with their STAB moves.

**Faster Offensive Threats**: Skuntank's mediocre Speed leaves it susceptible to faster attackers such as Silvally-Dragon, Kangskhan, and Sneasel. However, they should be wary of being inflicted with residual damage from Aftermath. (Fit in special wallbreakers and pivots like Rotom, Magmotar, and Basculin in here as well. Bar ground types, revenge killers are some of the best ways to check Skuntank, and this point can be beefier given how extensive and important these examples are.)

**Special Walls**: (While they succumb to Taunt and are annoyed by Sludge Bomb poison, Wishiwashi and Type: Null are able to take boosted hits from Skuntank and use U-turn to safely bring in revenge killers. Steel-types like Ferroseed and Galarian Stunfisk are able to wear down Skuntank if it lacks Fire Blast.)

QC 1/2! Great work. I redirected some of the purpose of Skuntank to be a labeled as a stallbreaker and not wallbreaker, and refitted some examples accordingly. Skuntank is a great edition on teams that want a wincon vs stall, as that playstyle has only the nichest of walls like Flareon or SpD Mawile to adequately prevent it from tearing through their cores. "Wallbreaker" is best reserved for Pokemon with immediate breaking power. The content was great though so thank you once again!
