Platoon

Gible
  • If the Gible win against the Platoon
    • They qualify for playoffs
  • If the Gible tie against the Platoon, these CANNOT simultaneously happen:
    • Islanders win against the Shoguns
    • Spartans win against the Breakers 9-1 or better
  • If the Gible lose against the Platoon, two of the following cases CANNOT happen:
    • Islanders win or tie against the Shoguns
    • Spartans win against the Breakers / Spartans tie against Breakers while Gible lose their +6 BD lead
    • Machines and Dynamos series ends in a non-tie winner
    • Breakers win against the Spartans while Gible lose their +10 BD lead
    • Foxes win against the Terrors while Gibles lose their +17 BD lead
Islanders
  • If the Islanders win against the Shoguns:
    • They qualify for playoffs
  • If they Islanders tie against the Shoguns, two of the following cases CANNOT happen:
    • Gibles tie or win against the Platoon
    • Spartans win against the Breakers 8-2 or better
    • Machines win against the Dynamos 10-0
  • If the Islanders lose to the Shoguns, two of the following cases CANNOT happen:
    • Gible tie or win against the Platoon (or lose "better"/"the same" than/as the Islanders have lost)
    • Spartans win against the Breakers / Spartans tie against Breakers while Gible lose their +5 BD lead
    • Machines and Dynamos series ends in a non-tie winner
    • Breakers win against the Spartans while Islanders lose their +8 BD lead
    • Foxes win against the Platoon while Gibles lose their +15 BD lead
Spartans
  • If the Spartans win against the Breakers, two of the following cases CANNOT happen:
    • Gibles win against the Platoon (or tie while keeping their +6 BD)
    • Islanders win against the Shoguns (or tie while keeping their +4 BD)
    • Machines win against the Dynamos while passing the Spartans +4 BD advantage
  • If the Spartans tie against the Breakers, two of the following cases CANNOT happen:
    • Gible do 2-8 or better vs the Platoon
    • Islanders do better than 2-8 vs the Shoguns
    • Machines and Dynamos series ends in a non-tie winner
  • If the Spartans lose against the Breakers:
    • They cannot qualify for playoffs
Machines
  • If the Machines win against the Dynamos, two of the following cases CANNOT happen:
    • Gible win or tie against the Platoon
    • Islanders win or tie against the Shogun
    • Spartans win against the Breakers
  • If the Machines tie against the Dynamos:
    • They cannot qualify for playoffs
Dynamos
  • If the Dynamos win against the Machines, two of the following cases CANNOT happen:
    • Gible win or tie against the Platoon
    • Islanders win or tie against the Shogun
    • Spartans win against the Breakers
Breakers
  • If the Breakers win against the Spartans, two of the following cases CANNOT happen:
    • Gibles win or tie against the Platoon [they need the Gibles to lose and collapse their +11 BD]
    • Islanders win or tie against the Shoguns [they need the Shoguns to lose and collapse their +9 BD]
    • Dynamos and Machines series ends in a non-tie winner [they need the Dynamos and Machines to tie]

Foxes
  • If the Foxes win against the Terrors, two of the following cases CANNOT happen:
    • Gibles win or tie against the Platoon [they need the Gibles to lose and collapse their +17 BD]
    • Islanders win or tie against the Shoguns [they need the Shoguns to lose and collapse their +15 BD]
    • Dynamos and Machines series ends in a non-tie winner [they need the Dynamos and Machines to tie]
    • A non favorable outcome in the Spartans and Breakers series. Listed is the favorable outcomes:
      • The Foxes win against the Terros 10-0 or 9-1 while the Breakers win exactly 6-4. If the Breakers win 7-3 or better, then this outcome will not be satisfied.

i'm a little sad the tours community is still like this almost eight years later, but it is what it is i guess. i was apprehensive about signing up for scl in the first place because i saw how toxic people were the last spl i participated in, and it feels like my fears were warranted if this is a reaction to only the second game i played. competitive pokemon is supposed to be fun and an escape from real life. if your idea of fun is shittalking other people, you need to grow up.
