No, you will have to play UU ladder and accidently run into the opponent you have to play (without knowing who he is!)
If you don't play him you will be dqed because of inactivity

Also you must send the replays of every ladder battle to Sapientia, he agreed to look at these and check if you faced the right guy. Don't hesitate to send hundreds of replays if you want to be sure!
