Smogon Live Tournament 10/31/10 [Halloween Special]

HALLOWEEN SPECIAL

The LIVE Tournaments are on the IRC channel #smogonwifi. We play these tournaments relatively often so keep your eye on Wifi Tournaments for a thread titled similarly to this one. Also, if enough people are on as well as someone to run the tournament, we could have one at any time. So its a good idea to stay in #smogonwifi participate in discussion and have fun!

The tournaments being held on Halloween will be:

Tournament #1 - "Trick or Treat 4v4 Doubles" - Play only with Pokemon you are allowed to trade by wifi rules. (please clone ahead of time) After the game go into trade and choose one of your opponent's pokemon, they will do the same then continue in the next round of swiss with your new team, at the end keep the Pokemon you end up with! If you're newer to wifi and don't have Pokemon of your own I can provide you with some. We will use the 09 banlist.

Tournament #2 - "Halloween Colored 4v4 Doubles" - Only Black and Orange Pokemon According to this. We will use the 09 banlist.

The tournaments will hopefully start from 2:00 PM EST.

"Legitimately", you do it by shutting off your game while saving in the GTS. There's a guide for it around here somewhere, I'll dig it up later today perhaps.

You just need one copy of each of your initial pokemon because you will likely lose them.

EDIT: Luxray yes, amphoros no.

Tournament #1 Trick or Treat is almost finished, but if you get on irc in ~30 minutes you will be able to join #2 Halloween colors
