(And not now, I’m not baiting a doc claim, please don’t claim if you’re doc or JK lmao).

ATM I think game direction is hard sending solving the mafia team and then we’re gonna do that and be stuck here like “well who tf is the indie then”. Blazade and Sam’s buddying almost makes me feel like they’re an indie pair but considering the flavour is lone wolf that can’t be true surely :tymp:

I have played out that line of logic and said that Emcee is almost certainly town vig.

I'd like to also note that I initially claimed that my BPV absorbed the 3p kill because I thought the mafia kill was on pulsar. I would not have done this as 3p because I would know where the 3p kill was going if they could kill, or I would know that 3p wasn't a killer and not have any reason at all to volunteer that I had a BPV that was cracked. I am not the kind of player to voluntarily make mechanical claims that are easily contradicted with a night of preparation. In many of those situations as 3p my gut would be to assume Mafia shot me and Emcee followed up on the vig he said he was doing, but as I am town, I did not know where the 3p kill was if it even existed at all and blindly assumed Emcee would have reconsidered the kill after the mafia flip.

I volunteered so that I could endure that protective roles didn't claim because they thought they might have stopped town from being shot, another thing I would only do as town.

FWIW I think a lot of this is quite WIFOMy, but the last paragraph is a compelling reason to do that. Not one I would’ve thought of as town probably, and as proven I only think to claim my BPV as scum if it isn’t broken and I can pretend it is, but I think it’s quite an objectively pro-town play to claim the break.

I think you’re town anyway FWIW, more was commenting on the fact that people didn’t give the claim the analysis I felt it warranted.

Maybe I missed people playing out the logic wrt Ehmcee though lol
 
I mean sure technically I could post the votes in chronological order instead of alphabetical but that is a huge amount of work.

I mean sure if you want to do it and it looks right to everyone I can put it in the first post. Ordering vote counts chronologically is a huge amount of work when I'm already putting a lot of work into hosting. All votes are public knowledge though so you could do a chronological count if you wanted.

WIFOM has its limits, I think the way the day played out should indicate a perspective slip on my end.

I will say that if Emcee is telling the world he's shooting town, why would either Mafia or 3p go for a kill on him? I'm inclined to believe after 2 cycles of evidence that the 3p is a non lethal wildcard of some kind.

This is sorta fair, but like, scum benefits from killing me on a day i kill town because i could kill them tommorow

This obviously depends on prio tho so idk

Yes you're right but this is obviously being combined with the first day of evidence and I can bust out the math but it's a lot more complicated this time (basically there are a lot of conditions on when and how often they can kill, and then a bunch of stuff that has to happen to make it consistent with what's happened so far). But the case for a killer 3p is muddied by there not being an extra kill on either night.

Update, my kill priority supposedly has the same priority as other killing attacks "unless otherwise indicated"
