1 highlight from each series:

DPP OU: BKC vs Void - the goatly goat's campaign to prove DPP is not a variance madhouse tier has so far been successful, being the only 3-0 player remaining in the pool after Groudon faced a tragic loss last week. Jokes aside, BKC is locked in. The old joke that BKC sees a lead and he knows the other 5 is true, even in the modern era of DPP. Void is a tough opponent, going 11-1 since last SPL, and he's a historically solid player. I think it is safe to say he is BKC's toughest opponent so far, but I have to favor the goat here.

BW OU: Rewer vs Finchinator - both have been fairly strong in the tier as of recent, and Rewer had a really great showing vs GTG last week - an excellent player and one of the standouts in the pool IMO. Finch proves time and time again he is not a joke when it comes to BW, and this season I think his prep has been better than ever. He really should've won his game vs GTG week 1 (as we have all heard about... from him..), and he's played great in all 3. We all knew Finch is a solid player in this tier though - again, the thing I like this year is his prep. It is both scary and hilarious to see Finchinator innovating when he is historically known for using pretty standard stuff. I think he will take this one.

DPP OU: We Three Kings vs Groudon - the GOAT fell back down to Earth last week, and he now faces his toughest opponent yet. Can he do it? The fans are waiting with bated breath....

ADV OU: baddummy vs Pak - battle of the 3-0s here. Going into this tournament I viewed Rick as pretty solid, but a 3-0 start with a win against Roro was definitely not expected. Dude's clearly good, but I think he has gotten a little lucky in some areas. Nonetheless, it's clear his play and prep have leveled up over the last few years, and he should've been way more than 3k. Pak has been really good both in battle and builder, and man he looked like a beast last year. This is also a battle between the top team and the bottom team (this means nothing this early in the tournament), so it will be interesting to see the motivation levels here, but both of these guys strike me as people who mute a lot of the outside noise anyway. Will be a good one, giving a moderate edge to Pak especially after last week's performance.

SM OU: Drachenkeule vs Skypenguin - Drachen had a strong start, but his team last week was questionable in some areas IMO. He's a dangerous player - he brings pretty neat stuff, and sometimes it isn't gonna hit; it happens. Skype is the anointed king of this tier (other than Empo) but he has had a rough start so far - robjr played a career game against him week 1, and he lost to c0mp in week 3 in a pretty tough one. Frankly, I think Drachen is a pretty tough opponent and could easily get the upset here, but I'd be surprised if Skype would be content with his only win being against Luigi going into week 5. While this would probably be a 90/10 prediction favoring Skype week 1, I think this is like 55/45 right now, moreso due to Drachen being great than Skype losing a couple games. Definitely think he will bounce back here and giving him a slight edge.
