Smogon, RMT!

I'm new here to Smogon. I am a Pokemon Online UU 4thgen battler (Katanar on the site) and I have just lost 6-5 to the top player in the tier because of damn hax. And his Ludicolo.

My lead. I have always been a Taunt fan. It comes in useful sooooo many times. If only it survived until the Coming of the Ludicolo.

My second lead, used when Alatreon faints. Another Taunter, although I don't use Will-O-Wisp very much.


Todai (Torterra) (M) @ Life Orb

Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Wood Hammer

A reliable tank. Todai has never failed me.


Hayabusa (Sceptile) (M) @ Life Orb
Trait: Overgrow
EVs: 72 HP / 252 SAtk / 4 SDef / 180 Spd

Hayabusa screams "glass cannon" in every direction. And that's what it is. A 'mon for dealing with pesky water types.


Hitori (Moltres) @ Life Orb

My surprise hit, due to its high SpAtk. I almost keep shouting "Daimonji!" every time I make Hitori do Fire Blast. And it hits. Well, 85 percent of the time. But it's also a glass cannon.


Kotei (Entei) @ Life Orb
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Flare Blitz
- ExtremeSpeed
- Stone Edge
- Iron Head


Entei, Kazan no Tono....... It's been in my team since my first Pokemon game. When I heard about it getting Flare Blitz, I switched to PO instead of Shoddy just because of one move. Also, whatever you say, I'm keeping him in. One of the only things that damaged the accursed Ludicolo was an Extremespeed from Kotei.



Overall, it's kind of a "three part" team. Mismagius is my spare Alakazam, Torterra is my spare Sceptile and Entei and Moltres are near-on interchangeable.


I am open to any suggestions except for one thing:

-I'm keeping Entei. Full stop.

3. Have some actual words in your post beyond your six Pokemon and their moves. Not following this makes your post quite boring to read and rate. All Pokemon should have a good reason for being in your team anyway, so why not post that reason? If you are having trouble with this one, start by giving an explanation for each team member. Why are they there? What role do they serve? How do you get them in? Then, give an explanation of how you would open with the team and how you would go about using it. All of these things help people rate your team and allow us to offer more helpful advice.

Your descriptions are lacking, which means you are violating the above quoted RMT rule. If you wish to remedy this problem, explain your reasoning behind each Pokemon and why they work on your team more thoroughly. Try to aim for 3-4 sentences with your descriptions. I recommend lurking through the RMT Archive in order to see examples of what we're looking for in an RMT! If you fix this problem, private message indicating that you have done so. Once you've done that, I will unlock your thread.
