Smogon Tour 16

Hello girls and (mostly) boys, welcome to the final tour season before copies of Pokemon X&Y become available at stores near you! It feels like last season's winner was only crowned yesterday, but Smogon Tour 16 is fast-approaching and will begin on Friday, September 6th. As with previous seasons, this tour will be in the format of ADV OU, DPP OU, and BW2 OU and will last for a total of 9 weeks. Tours will mostly be hosted on Groudon's Grotto Pokemon Online server, maintained by our beloved Earthworm, who has officially announced his return to Pokemon in generation 6 after hearing news of MegaAmpharos' arrival. There are no time changes this season, meaning Friday, Saturday, and Sunday tours will still occur at 6 PM, 4 PM, and 2 PM Eastern time, respectively.

Will we witness Ojama make another run for the #1 spot despite claiming to have retired the 'ole PokeBoots? Who will be caught asking for wins during the final week in an attempt to sneak their way into the top 16 for a chance to win the coveted 16×16 png? All these questions and more will be answered in due time, so don't miss out of the action and make sure to tell your friends to jump in on the fun!
