congrats to xav, basically 0 misplays in all his series and a very dominant showing. consistency in making all these poffs, falling flat early, then eventually getting the ring is an amazing feeling, so soak all that shit in and be happy with the glory. winning shit like this is euphoric AF; this pokemon shit is Real fr
shoutouts clean for a great run as well, those games in finals were insanely close and came down to a couple plays. no one expected you to come this close and when u reach finals that's when u know ur capable of getting the chip once again. this is your sw/xav training arc. either you or xav winning would've been a sheist OLT champion regardless of result

lost in some good games to a friend, ggs bro
regardless of the end result, I am very happy with the level of play I showed throughout this tour. from someone whose entire experience in SV was summed up to a couple very subpar official team tour experiences, i never would have imagined making it this far and having a shot at the trophy. if anything, the loss has motivated me more to try my hand at other officials like stour that i never gave a real shot.
very quickly i want to say thank you to everyone who was willing to help me prep teams or just passed stuff when i was struggling to nail something down.
was great to know I had so many people cheering for me. way too many people to list out, but you know who you are. hopefully I will be back next year.

Congratulations xav, you embody everything I like in Pokemon. Smart plays, dedicated involvement and your own spin on the tiers you play. I'm also sure playing OMs shaped you to become such a unique player. Extremely well deserved victory, and I'm sure you can get a lot more done if you stay around.

Coming from OMs & losing nights of sleep worrying ab beating this guy it's always super vindicating to watch the Monsanto of OMs continuing on to farm official tours, starting from being a star in nearly every teamtour to now putting on a crazy performance in olt. As u know the boys from way back have been cheering on all your runs starting from that ost and we'll keep doing so win or loss for all ur future endeavors
