So, I read X-Act and Peterko's breeding guide and understand that gender, nature and ability of an egg is determined when the Daycare Man gets it, and that IVs are determined when he gives it to you.
My question is: which point is the point at which shinyness is determined? I'd assume its when the daycare man gets it, but I'd like to be sure.
Also, as I was typing this up I started to wonder when a Wurmple's evolution is decided as well. I'd assume this too is when the daycare man gets it, but again, it would be nice to be sure.
