Suspect Test Reasoning:

Galarian Mr. Mime is a force to be reckoned with in NFE. The DLC2 meta is the longest that it has escaped a ban this generation, as prior iterations of NFE found it overpowered. Now, especially with Pikachu and Kadabra gone from the tier, many more players are concerned with its dominance. Galarian Mr. Mime lacks checks and competition as a fast wallbreaker, revenge killer, and sweeper.

What's maybe most concerning is the variance and surprise factor of Galarian Mr. Mime. Despite having four moveslot syndrome, it pulls off Nasty Plot and Choice Specs sets very well, and the opponent won't always be able to afford to scout for coverage like Shadow Ball, Focus Blast, Ice Beam, and Trick. This makes defensive checks like specially defensive Duosion, Piloswine, Klang, and Ferroseed inconsistent, as they cannot afford to switch into a boosted Shadow Ball or Focus Blast. More so, Ice / Psychic STAB attacks tear through the most common and effective physical walls of Golbat and Tangela, giving Galarian Mr. Mime ample opportunities to wallbreak or setup when forcing them out. Coverage like Freeze-Dry also invalidates potential specially defensive walls like Wartortle and Slowpoke from statusing it or gaining momentum by pivoting. If that wasn't enough, it's also the second fastest Pokemon in the meta, and not even the faster Electabuzz is that effective at revenge killing due to it lacking strong coverage vs it, as well as Galarian Linoone only Speed tying and falling to Focus Blast unless it is Choice Scarf or Toxic Orb. Priority users like Thwackey and Gurdurr will also need a good amount of chip damage before they threaten it as well. Checking Galarian Mr. Mime ends up costing an assortment of situational defensive checks and offensive pressure to limit its opportunities to capitalize. Even then, though, it's likely to force trades and break through defensive cores.

The limitations of Galarian Mr. Mime are summed up by its poor defensive typing and attributes. It's weak to Stealth Rock and all entry hazards, so Eviolite and Choice Specs sets are easily pressured while Heavy-Duty Boots sets are easier to revenge kill, weaker, and lack setup opportunities. Ice / Psychic also overlaps with central defensive Pokemon in the metagame like Hattrem, Duosion, and Piloswine, and while Galarian Mr. Mime could still be ran with these examples, it still creates a teambuilding issue if the defensive side of things cannot cover every threat. Fire-types like Magmar, Lampent, and Raboot are dangerous for Galarian Mr. Mime thanks to their bulk and / or Choice Scarf sets, and they capitalize when it is locked into Ice Beam or Freeze-Dry. There's also its vulnerability to Knock Off and status, especially paralysis as Nuzzle Hattrem and Thunder Wave Clefairy make it much more manageable. Essentially, choosing to build around Galarian Mr. Mime will create a sort of defensive liability for the rest of the team, as most other fast threats / wallbreakers like Electabuzz, Galarian Linoone, and Magmar provide way more switch-in opportunities and relevant resistances. One could argue that the defensive issues that Galarian Mr. Mime intrinsically causes are enough to keep it in check, on top of the aforementioned four moveslot syndrome and situational answers it has.

Reqs as proof.

IMO should have let the Mime-Galar Ban be decided by the council due to just how low the ladder activity is. But I'll go for the reqs as if it's a chance to just ban Mime-Galar. Ggs to everyone that didn't hax me to win/lose.

Teams I used for this reqs.

fuck Ho3n and his swirlix team lmao

Mime has no reliable answers (apart from spdef dusclops who gets chipped easily and is bad in general), and from my experience having very little switchin opportunities and being rocks weak doesn't make up for it, even the best answers (like metang, slowpoke, scraggy, ferroseed, klang) are often one coverage move or np away from a gruesome end. Due to the recent bans and its excellent speed tier, offensive counterplay is very limited as well.
Therefore, i'll likely be voting BAN.
