Bronzong @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 16 SpA / 240 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Psychic / Earthquake
- Stealth Rock
- Protect
- Toxic

Bronzong is a good defensive partner for Nasty Plot Salazzle. It checks most of Salazzle's checks like Ground and Dragon types, e.g. Choice Scarf Flygon and Dragalge. It is also able to set up Stealth Rock which power Salazzle's breaking power/ability to wear opposing defensive cores. The spread allows you to 2hko opposing Vileplume with Psychic after Stealth Rock damage.

braviary

:braviary:

Braviary @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Defiant
EVs: 252 Atk / 72 Def / 184 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Brave Bird
- Close Combat
- Defog
- Roost

One of my favorite Salazzle partners at the moment, Braviary covers a ton of Salazzle's weaknesses, specifically a crucial Ground resist, Defogger for those SubTox sets, and can set up on the bulky waters, such as Gastro or Vap, if SpDef Bulk Up, another amazing addition to a Lazzle team. Brav will also bait in those Rock types, specifically TTrum in this meta, and KO it with BB into CC. Super cool mon.

decidueye

:ss/decidueye:
Decidueye
Ability: Long Reach
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Spirit Shackle
- Leaf Blade
- Roost

Decidueye is a great partner for Salazzle as it pressures Pokemon offensively very well too with its Swords Dance set and having access to great recovery forme in Roost. Swords Dance set makes Decidueye to a potent and great wallbreaker in the tier with a great dual STAB option in Spirit Shackle and Leaf Blade. It pressures bulky Ground- and Water-types which Salazzle has trouble with. In return Salazzle can whittle down threats with Corrosion Toxic and its use in Knock Off. Salazzle also deals with bulky Pokemon such as Escavalier which gives Decidueye trouble. Decidueye is itemless to combat the many good Ghost-types which make use of Poltergeist.

In overall this pairing compliments each other nicely in their synergy as Decidueye deals with Ground- and Water-types well, which Salazzle struggles with and Salazzle in return can help with increasing Decidueyes wallbreaking potential with either weakening threats by its own or dishing out a Toxic into their direction to cripple them and whittling them down slowly.

Flygon
:ss/flygon:
Flygon @ Lum Berry
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Earthquake
- Dragon Claw
- Throat Chop

Flygon can switch into ground type moves with Levitate. It also resists rock type moves, something that Salazzle is weak to. In turn, Salazzle can scare off fairy types, which is one of Flygon's weaknesses. Flygon can take on Pokemon who are specially defensive, while Salazzle can take care of physically defensive Pokemon. Dragon Dance is to setup so you can sweep. Earthquake and Dragon Claw are STAB moves. Throat Chop can deal with most psychic types in the tier.

:ss/Cresselia:

Cresselia (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 92 HP / 216 Def / 20 SpA / 180 Spe
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Stored Power / Substitute
- Moonblast
- Calm Mind
- Moonlight

Cresselia is a wonderful partner for this Salazzle for a variety of reasons. Firstly, Space Duck is immune to ground which Salazzle is four times weak to. Secondly, Salazzle greatly threatens the checks to Cresselia as it can Toxic dark and steel types, and can deal massive damage to steel types with its fire coverage. Thirdly, Cresselia sets up rather freely versus anything that is toxiced and has to click a healing move every couple of turns. In those moments Cresselia can set up even another Calm Mind to ensure victory.

Cresselia is absolutely broken and can therefore serve as a good team member for almost any other Pokémon. I really do not know why it is still in the tier :))

Celebi @ Colbur Berry
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 36 Def / 220 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Stealth Rock
- Healing Wish
- Shadow Ball/ Earth Power/ Twave
- Leaf Storm

Firstly its a legendary, idc but still. Its a good water resist, gets up rocks. A good lead mon too. If needed it could heal salazzle in a pinch, considering how frail of mon salazzle is. It provides with a ground resist. Other non-lead recover sets are good too, wish again could function as a means of healing it. It also offensively checks a few mons , shmash (shell smash) toise, diancie, gastrodon. Also celebi's sets are not quite used as much as a mon with so much potential utility I'd expect.

Gastrodon @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Sticky Hold
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Recover
- Scald
- Earthquake
- Toxic

gastro, can switch in on salazzles weaknesses well, or even knock off, its a good utility mon I think, its a nice paring, lazz switches in on grass, gastro switches in on water and ground, ''even better for water if you want to use storm drain'' but sticky hold plus heavy boots can be very annoying,

Dhelmise
Ability: Steelworker
EVs: 172 HP / 252 Atk / 84 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Power Whip
- Poltergeist
- Rapid Spin
- Synthesis

Similar to Decidueye but hits harder. Can deal with Grounds and Waters that Salazzle doesn't like, save for Mantine ofc. Dhel can even spin hazards away. Dhelmise can even run something like Anchor Shot over it to trap Cresselia if you already have hazard control on the team. Either way, Dhelmise does its job well and can even restore lost HP.
