Scizor > Heatran > Melmetal

Scizor checks dangerous attackers like Lele, Weavile and Rillaboom, while also providing momentum or item removal (I would personally run knock off > U-turn) on steel types, the typical Kyurem switchins. Other Kyurem switch ins like Clefable, Glowking and Blissey are threatened by Scizor.

Heatran is fine but Scizor is cooler, also tran scares out the steel types you want to lure in and weaken. I would probably like heatran more if Kyurem could grab momentum or alongside another partner that could draw those steels in. Does better than Scizor vs glowking and clefable, though again, Scizor is more fun, especially alongside its lifelong partner rotom-w.

Melmetal we already used it so it's my least favourite for me only because of that lol it's still a good pick.

Kartana is an amazing breaker that has good synergy with the other pokemon we have, Since kyurem pressures flying types and rotom wash can bring it in with volt switch on special walls, while also pressuring waters for heatran, so its a good fit rn

if you read this far i wish you have a good day and hit all your focus blasts :blobnom:

Since this core seems very weak to Kyurem and Weavile, I would recommend Scizor. It forms the iconic VoltTurn core with Rotom-W, appreciating it dealing with Fire-types such as Volcarona and Heatran, while Scizor deals with Kartana and Rillaboom. The first spread allows you to survive a +2 Knock Off from Weavile and a Choice Specs-boosted Earth Power from Kyurem, while OHKOing Weavile with U-turn. The second allows you to survive 2 Sacred Swords from Kartana, while not being 2HKOed by Draco Meteor from Choice Specs Kyurem and OHKO from +2 Superpower from Rillaboom. Both spreads are as slow as possible to bring in Kyurem safely.

Having a tran makes this so much harder -_-
Either we're doing tran volt turn or wash balance ;_;
F it idc if you don't vote for it coz it's been used before
:ss/Landorus-Therian:
Below s amirite (Landorus-Therian) (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 HP / 164 SpD / 92 Spe
Careful Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Knock Off
- U-turn

We really need an elec check, + something that can actually touch special walls like glowking lmao. Lando fits like a glove, doing this ^ and also giving rocks+ knock support so volt turn is *somewhat* effective in this boots meta. Corv also would want to have lefties vs kyu but no more. Spdef coz it's better rn.
Moves and spread liable to change according to the team
Have a good day :blobwizard:

Rillaboom @ Life Orb
Ability: Grassy Surge
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Grassy Glide
- Knock Off
- Superpower
Rillaboom partners well with Heatran, checking dangerous Ground-types that can OHKO him easily, taking Earthquakes of foes such us Swampert, Hippowdon, Excadrill... Rillaboom also checks Water-types that can cripple Heatran like Tapu Fini or Urshifu-R, forcing them to switch-out and getting +2 boosted with Swords Dance. STAB Grassy Glide +2 boosted + LO easily OHKO Pokemon that doesnt resist Grass-type attacks and makes great damage to neutral foes. It also bringd Knock Off support to the team, punishing forced switch-ins and making great damage if its boosted with Swords Dance. To sum up, it also helps versus metagame staples like Toxapex, Clefable, Slowbro... that threaten the team.

Pivot Tornadus-T

Tornadus-Therian (M) @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 244 HP / 96 Def / 168 Spe
Timid Nature
- U-turn
- Knock Off
- Heat Wave
- Defog / Air Slash

Moveset and spread can be adjusted later to what the team needs
pivot tornadus-t is a good fit to this team because it creates a volturn core with rotom wash for kyurem to switch in safely, threatening grass types that rotom lures in with heat wave, which is used to have a more accurate hit vs kartana and better matchup vs corvi. knock off generates progress against typical kyurem switchins like clef, glowking and tran. Rotom + torn-t can also be used as a double defog core to keep the field free from hazards to help kyurem, which frees heatran a slot for toxic, heavy slam or whatever.
Having a great speed tier makes tornadus also a great offensive partner for kyurem, via offensively pressuring threats to kyurem like shifu, lele, kart, gengar, blacephalon etc via making them a lot easier to manoeuvre around.

Dragapult @ Choice Specs
Ability: Infiltrator
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Shadow Ball
- Draco Meteor
- U-turn
- Hydro Pump/Fire Blast/Thunder

Dragapult forms a double dragon core with Kyurem, which is really strong, as they pressure shared checks, and pult brings in Kyurem with U turn on things like Ttar or Mandibuzz. It also keeps up the volt turn aspect, while giving crucial speed control. 4th slot to be chosen according to the team.
Have a good day:heart:

That being said I will be taking her place and will be co-hosting this now so with that being said we will begin the voting stage. why is there an heatran on this team ffs
kart capitalizes well on the threats rotom volt switches out against and alongside kyurem pressures steel types like melmetal quite well. since we have a hetran we might as well abuse its pressure with a teammate that can get lure in and uturn out of steel types. i think scizor fits nicely here as well since it lures pex, lando and steels and also frees up heatran a bit from defensive duties. also bullet punch is a massive tool against hail teams. i feel like uturn scizor fits the most here but kartana is a close second. lando does lando tings but it only draws in other landos so it doesnt give kyurem much entry.

This is how the team is currently look like and now we seek for more addition for the team

Our team is looking a bit slow and needs some Speed-control. Having a check for Tapu Koko and Zeraora, both of which do really well vs our first 4 mons, would also be really nice. Having a U-turn user to form a Volt-turn core with Rotom would be neat, as well, which gives our Specs Kyurem even more opportunities to come in more safely. Lastly, an extra Ground-immunity for Heatran is always a nice addition. It's hella basic, but Choice Scarf Landorus-Therian compresses all of that into one team slot:

Landorus-Therian (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Earthquake
- U-turn
- Stone Edge
- Knock Off / Stealth Rock

Earthquake, U-turn, and Stone Edge are really the only required moves, while the 4th slot is quite customizable. Having more Knock Off is always nice, but if we want to have our last team member not be a Stealth Rock user, our Scarf Landorus-T can bluff a non-Scarf set and run it, giving this mon even more utility.

Bulk up Zeraora

Zeraora @ Heavy-Duty Boots / Leftovers
Ability: Volt Absorb
EVs: 12 HP / 244 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Bulk Up
- Plasma Fists
- Knock Off

- Close Combat

bulk up zera is a neat win condition in the meta atm and fits well into the team we have now. speed control and electric immunity are great assets for team building, but the main reason I think bulk up zeraora fits perfectly here lies in how the team naturally handles zeraora's checks: bulky ground and grass types (and buzzwole). in a nutshell, scizor+rotom core grabs momentum on every zeraora check for heatran+kyurem to pressure them and the rest of the team. heatran also forces damage on lando-t and chomp between toxic and magma storm, which will quickly put them into zeraora range.

leftovers as a potential item because it goes very well with a potential double defog core and gives zeraora a lot of extra longevity. this would also allow scizor to run a more interesting item than hdb; the first one that comes to mind being rocky helmet, with a physically defensive spread. double defog and volturn seem counterintuitive at first since you don't punish the switches with hazards, but it also makes switching a lot easier and the main purpose would be to constantly and safely position the two breakers, heatran and kyurem.

the ev spread is to maximise leftovers recovery. this is especially useful in grassy terrain teams.
