:bw/Heatran:
Heatran @ Choice Scarf :Choice Scarf:
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Eruption
- Steel Beam
- Flamethrower
- Earth Power

Assuming you've haven't revealed that your Heatran doesn't have Leftovers, you basically switch your Heatran into a Pokemon that is scared of Magma Storm and select Steel Beam instead to obliterate the opponent's Terrakion.

Lead Sash Mamoswine

:swsh/mamoswine:
Mamoswine @ Focus Sash
Ability: Oblivious
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Endeavor
- Ice Shard
- Earthquake

Assuming your sash isn't broken, Mamoswine acts as a very good lure for Terrakion, being both slower and weak to close combat, but also being able to OHKO Terrakion with earthquake:
252+ Atk Mamoswine Earthquake vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Terrakion: 392-464 (121.3 - 143.6%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Endeavor + Sash also allows it to weaken up following slower pokemon, or be able to put up rocks + endeavor against leads.

Weavile @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Level: 100
Adamant Nature
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
- Substitute
- Triple Axel
- Knock Off
- Ice Shard

Adamant Weavile can OHKO banded Terrakion from full while still out speeding it after a single CC into Weavile’s sub. Jolly can be run alternatively to Adamant, although an OHKO after one CC isn’t guaranteed unless you have stealth rocks up.

252+ Atk Weavile Triple Axel (40 BP) (3 hits) vs. -1 0 HP / 0 Def Terrakion: 333-396 (103 - 122.6%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252 Atk Weavile Triple Axel (40 BP) (3 hits) vs. -1 0 HP / 0 Def Terrakion: 306-363 (94.7 - 112.3%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock

Our new threat will be
:ss/blacephalon:
Blacephalon @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Beast Boost
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature

- Shadow Ball
- Flamethrower
- Fire Blast

- Trick

How will YOU lure this threat? Submissions end Friday!

:ss/gengar:
Gengar @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Cursed Body
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Shadow Ball
- Sludge Bomb
- Focus Blast
- Trick
Scarf gengar outspeeds scarf Blacephalon, and cleanly ohkoes it. It also does other gengar things, and is alright speed control and a sball spammer, and can also scare out pult and kartana, along with focus blast doing good damage to steels and wearing them down for later.

Weavile @ Choice Scarf :Choice Scarf:
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Knock Off
- Ice Shard
- Triple Axel
- Low Kick

Weavile usually ends up getting revenge killed by Choice Scarf Blacephalon. Although, Choice Scarf Weavile is able to outpace it instead and OHKO it with Knock Off.

Dragapult @ Choice Scarf
Modest Nature
Ability: Infiltrator
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
- Draco Meteor
- Shadow Ball
- Fire Blast
- U-turn

Mew @ Leftovers
Ability: Synchronize
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Cosmic Power
- Stored Power
- Earthquake
- Roost

mew lures it in as it either wants to trick it or it wants to spam shadow ball as otherwise mew is unable to pressure it especially without multiple boosts. Blace cannot ko it with shadow ball and earthquake ko's it back especially after a bit of chip. Trick while can cripple mew results in blacephalon being ko'ed which we have successfully lured it in

0- Atk Mew Earthquake vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Blacephalon: 214-254 (86.6 - 102.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock

252 SpA Blacephalon Shadow Ball vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Mew: 294-348 (72.7 - 86.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery

The goal of the thread is to currently identify sets that may lure Blacephalon. Whether or not Scarf Dragapult should have scald vs fire blast is irrelevant.
No, better sets means a lure that is better and more useful in the metagame.

gengar is the least wackiest of the 3 and prob most viable sooo i choose :gengar:... scarf NP trick has some uses i think... scarf pult is a pass lol ad scarf weavile is just wut
