Shuca Melmetal
Melmetal @ Shuca Berry
Ability: Iron Fist
EVs: 252 Atk / 244 SpD / 12 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Double Iron Bash
- Ice Punch
- Superpower
- Earthquake
Intended to catch cocky Garchomp attempting to remove Melmetal after a Swords Dance, then subsequently clipped. The coverage maximizes what Melmetal hits after it has successfully lured a target with Shuca Berry.
Also good for catching balance and offense breakers like Nidoking off guard, which is a very useful trait for any team struggling to meet either of the two in its slots.

Physdef Shuca Berry Slowking-Galar
Slowking-Galar @ Shuca Berry
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 180 HP / 252 Def / 76 SpA
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Nasty Plot
- Ice Beam
- Sludge Bomb / Psyshock / Slack Off
- Flamethrower / Slack Off / Psyshock
A very customizable Slowking set, it's main purpose is luring both Garchomp and Landorus-Therian, it can do so by either running the role of a breaker with NP + 3 attacks or a wincon with NP + Slack Off + 2 attacks. With a large amount of physdef, it also lures Weavile, not being able to ohko from full unless it's LO or banded.
SpA EV's are to ohko weavile at +2 with sludge bomb while also guaranteeing the kill on no HP garchomp, but can definitely be tweaked.

Ferrothorn could prove to be an issue because you get walled by it so make sure you have a teammate to deal with it. On the other hand, if you have teammates that can deal chip down Garchomp such as a Heatran magma miss, then you can forgo knock off and use close combat instead. That's probably the best option as the above set is just a worse case scenario against Garchomp
Nidoking @ Focus Sash / Shuca Berry
Ability: Sheer Force
EVs: 252 SpAtk / 4 SpDef / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Ice Beam
- Fire Blast / Flamethrower
- Earth Power / Sludge Wave
- Thunderbolt
A certified ladder demon, Nidoking’s formidable coverage can make it tough to find a safe switch in. The vast majority of Nidos elect to run Life Orb dual STAB with Fire Blast for and Thunderbolt for those annoying bulky waters /. Sash Ice Beam is a fun ladder tech used to anti-lead or lure Lando-T , which I figure works here just as well. Fire Blast is still mandatory for , as is Thunderbolt. Unfortunately, this leaves Nidoking in a tight spot for coverage – running Earth Power lets you hit //, while missing Sludge Wave leaves you even more vulnerable to / . Ultimately, I think Earth Power deserves the spot over Sludge Wave, though this is obviously not set in stone. Finally, Shuca Berry can be run over FS for a similar purpose, especially if you’re looking to lure Lando , or if your team struggles to keep rocks off the field, at the cost of not being able to touch Garchomp at+2.
Its important to note that a Modest Nature is necessary if you're looking to lure and OHKO Spdef Lando-T as well; this thread is about luring Garchomp, so these calc's are done with a Timid Nature in mind.

First attempt at one of these;
Bisharp @ Black Glasses
Ability: Defiant
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Knock Off
- Sucker Punch
- Power-Up Punch / Brick Break
- Iron Head
Bisharp looks to catch Garchomp on the switch in, with Knock Off dealing a minimum 59%, and Sucker Punch following up with 42, without any previous boost. Admittedly Leftovers makes it a favourable roll (double min roll does ~95%) but with a previous Defiant proc, Knock Off alone is a guaranteed OHKO. This set has priority and perfect neutral coverage.
Unboosted;
