[OVERVIEW]
Sudowoodo is unviable in SS ZU because it is entirely outclassed defensively by Rhydon, which has higher stats in almost every category, a better typing, and access to support moves in Toxic and Roar. Offensively, Lycanroc-N outclasses Sudowoodo with its ability to handle Steel-types like Klinklang with Close Combat, access to Swords Dance, and higher Speed while also having Sucker Punch for faster foes.

Sudowoodo attempts to act as a threatening entry hazard setter with its 150-Base Power Rock-type STAB move in Head Smash, solid coverage with Wood Hammer, and Sucker Punch to make up for its abysmal Speed. Unfortunately, Rhydon entirely outclasses it defensively with better stats across the board after Eviolite, a better typing to deny Volt Switch users like Rotom, and better support moves in Toxic and Roar to cripple switch-ins and deny setup. Lycanroc-N outclasses Sudowoodo offensively with better coverage moves like Close Combat and Iron Tail, a higher Speed stat, and access to Swords Dance.

the absence of mention of lycanroc is worrying. the thing with sudowoodo is that defensively, rhydon has far better stats and a better typing, while offensively, lycanroc is much faster and can deal with steel-types thanks to close combat, while also having access to Sucker Punch and being able to boost with SD.

Sudowoodo attempts to act as a threatening entry hazard setter with its base 150 Rock STAB move in Head Smash as well as solid coverage with Wood Hammer and Sucker Punch. Unfortunately, Rhydon entirely outclasses it with better stats across the board after Eviolite, access to a setup move in Swords Dance, and Ground STAB for almost perfect coverage for the tier. Even more niche picks like Piloswine work better for similar reasons. if anything that sets competes with lycanroc not pilo and rhydon. sucker isn't for coverage, it is a priority to make up for sudowoodo abysmal speed stat.

Offensively, Lycanroc-Midnight Lycanroc-N outclasses Sudowoodo with its ability to handle Steel-types like Klinklang with Close Combat, access to Swords Dance, and is much faster higher Speed while also having Sucker Punch for faster opponents foes.
