How to Sign-Up
Post your priority. No need to have any special things hidden in the rules, if you don't read them then it's your own loss. However, if you lie about your priority, you will become P4. Sign-ups will be open for 48-72 hours hopefully.
Concept
Terror has broken out in the Muppets Theater, turning friends into foes. There are 5 factions and each faction is designed to help them control a certain aspect of the game. For example, things like an Items faction might be able to inspect items, steal, or force trades between users (Note that there are no items in this game, so there is obviously no item faction). We were originally going to have this be an anonymous game, but have since decided that it might not be that easy because anonymous games are said to have less activity. Let us know what you think by filling out the poll.
Rules
1.) Whilst you are alive you can talk to anyone about the game. Once you are dead you cannot talk to anyone about the game, unless you are mafia and on the same team, in which case you may talk with members of your team only, and only for strategy purposes. Knowledge acquired after death cannot be transferred from a dead player to a living player. Additionally, people cannot come back from the dead, ever.
2.) Every user has a role PM. Role PMs may not be shown to other users on Night 0, but starting from Day 1 onwards they may be freely distributed. Screenshotting of all forms is banned. If anyone finds a person encouraging others to take screenshots or taking screenshots and showing other people, please be sure to report it.
3.) You can paste things told to you by the host. You may fake logs. Do not take pasting of a host conversation as definite proof, these can be faked. If you want to fake a log, feel free to PM one of the hosts for assistance. Impersonation of a host or another user however, is banned at all points. Please do not attempt to impersonate in any way.
4.) Each day will have a deadline of 48 hours. You may vote to lynch users during the day by posting ""verb USER"" in bold, or ""No lynch"" if you don't want to lynch anyone (lynch votes will not count if they're not in the correct format!), and if you change your vote, you MUST edit the bolded text out of the old post if you post with a new vote. Once there is a majority as determined by the host, there will be a grace period of 3 hours, and if the majority is still in place after said grace period, the day will end. Please don't ask about when a majority is reached - once it's time for the day to end, it'll end (provided a host is there to update). The game will start on Night 0, but deaths can happen on Night 0 just like any other night. Lynch votes towards a dead user will count as ""No lynch"". In the event of a tie, both users will be lynched, but a ""No lynch"" will occur the next day.
5.) Each night will have a deadline of 48 hours. This gives you 48 hours to send your night action. Please state what you are doing in the PM title, it makes it MUCH easier to handle. Remember that PMs are to be sent to both Ditto and Crux (Milton Bradley and Hasbro if anonymous). If you're not going to do anything at night, send a PM titled ""Night X - idling"". This makes keeping track of things easier and informs us that you're active.
6.) Hosts reserve the right to sub out anyone we deem to be inactive.
7.) Priorities are secret and will not change.
8.) This game is multifaction. There are five factions. Factions may or may not be the same size. Some factions start out knowing their teammates and some don’t. There may or may not be neutrals in this game.
9.) If Faction A needs Faction B dead, then Faction B necessarily needs Faction A dead. There is no faction that needs you dead that is not listed in the win condition of your role PM.
10.) Each player may ask the host for one fake claim. The hosts are happy to help you in formulating a fake claim.
11.) Whilst we are very, very close, your hosts are not perfect and we may make mistakes. Do not take grammatical or spelling errors as proof that a role pm has been faked. The format of all role pms is as follows.
13.) Information from the hosts is entirely trustworthy.
14.) Don’t complain that your faction is “weaker” than other factions. Every faction has both strengths and weaknesses. Even if the balance is slightly shifted toward some faction, each faction has a decent chance at winning the game.
15.) This is a closed theme mafia. Every role is from the Muppets Show or a similar show (such as Sesame Street).
16.) There are no items in this game.
