Stereotypes:

Welcome to Stereotypes!
This Pet Mods aims at creating a unique meta containing a mon for all 171 possible types, with the hope of each mon using it's typing and the options it gives well, while still being balanced and interesting.

Submission process:

-Each slate will consist of three given typings. Users will then be able to submit a maximum of one Fakemon that has the typing.
-Submission phase will last a week.

As for some guidelines and rules, custom elements aren't allowed, unless specifically specified. For balance, try to keep the OU powerlevel in mind when making your subs in the first few slates. Once we'll have around 10 mons, start thinking only about them.

Please keep in mind this is a regional dex Meta! That means that dexited moves don't exist, and Z-Moves can't be used! (If a move was dexited because the only Pokemon that gets it was dexited, then it's fine)
That also mean Universal TMs are the gen8 ones!

Toxic isn't universal

Flavor Moves:
Description:

Conversion, Conversion2, Libero, Protean, Transistor, Dragon's Maw, Steelworker, Steeiy Spirit, Color Change, Arena Trap, Shadow Tag, Moody (Those last three are allowed as flavor but would be banned in the teambuilder)

Voting process:
-Voting will last two days.

In the voting phase, users vote for their preferred submissions and the winning submissions are added to the role compendium and spreadsheet.
The voting format is as follows:

Role in question: 1st preferred option, 2nd preferred option, 3rd preferred option.

As for self-votes...
Note: These self voting rules and the explanation are from good user lyd, slightly adapted to fit this pet mod
If you want to vote for yourself now, it gets slightly more complicated. You can always keep voting for yourself as second, but you can change the order a bit, for as long as the number of self-votes equals 2x the number of submissions you made. Let's use some examples to make it more understandable:

Stallbreaker: Yoshiblaze, Lyd, Ludicrousity
Special Wall: Ludicrousity, Lyd, Yoshiblaze
Defensive Pivot: Ludicrousity, Lyd, Yoshiblaze

So this voting format is good, cuz' Lyd voted for himself as second three times, and when you add everything up, he gave himself 6 votes, which is fine, as it is exactly the number of submissions he made for the slate x2. However, say he liked his Stallbreaker submission a lot, and he really wants it to win, he can play around with his votes a little bit:

Stallbreaker: Lyd, Yoshiblaze, Ludicrousity
Special Wall: Ludicrousity, Lyd, Yoshiblaze
Defensive Pivot: Ludicrousity, Yoshiblaze, Lyd

So to make his Stallbreaker first vote, he moved his Defensive Pivot self-vote to last. Makes sense, right? And when you add up the votes, 3 + 2 + 1 = 6 which is exactly what he wants. Let's say that he likes his Special Wall and Defensive Pivot submissions more, and he didn't like his Stallbreaker submission too much. He can do this:

Stallbreaker: Yoshiblaze, Ludicrousity, G-Luke
Special Wall: Lyd, Ludicrousity, Yoshiblaze
Defensive Pivot: Lyd, Ludicrousity, Yoshiblaze

3 + 3 adds up to six, so he's good to that. Small note that this can't be done if he made no Stallbreaker submission because if that was the case, the number of submissions he made x2 would actually end up as 4, which isn't enough. Also, had he only made a single submission, he'd always have to self-vote as #2 or lower because making only one submission gives him only two self-vote points. We hope that was clear, if you had any trouble to understand this, feel free to PM anyone from the council and we'll explain it as best as we can.

After voting ends, you will have 1-2 days to discuss the new winners!

Name: Cetaidon
Ability: Torrent/(Water Veil)
Typing: Water
Stats: 110/125/85/80/80/50 (530 BST)
Weight: 371,1 kgs
Relevant Moves: Aqua Jet, Earthquake, Flip Turn, Ice Fang, Ice Beam, Icicle Spear, Liquidation, Roar, Scald, Swords Dance, Waterfall, Water Spout, All Universal TMs
Flavor Moves: Aqua Ring, Aqua Tail, Blizzard, Bite, Body Slam, Body Press, Crunch, Dive, Double-Edge, Giga Impact, Heavy Slam, Hydro Cannon, Hydro Pump, Hyper Beam, Iron Defense, Iron Head, Life Dew, Rain Dance, Rock Slide, Smart Strike, Soak, Surf, Tackle, Tail Whip, Water Gun, Water Pledge, Whirlpool, Work Up
Description: Cetaidon is a Killer Whale wearing golden armor with a tail shaped like a trident. Thanks to its resistances to fire and water as well as Water Veil, it can easily switch-into pokemons trying to spread burns, notably defensive water types. Its good overall bulk can also let it switch-in on other attacks, though it might not take neutral hits well with hazards up or after some chip. Once it has switched in, it can make use of its Choice Band or Swords Dance sets. Choice Band is pretty straight-forward. It uses powerful Flip Turns to keep up momentum and chip the switch-in, letting Cetaidon's faster but less powerful teammates finish the job. If it predicts right, it can also slam the switch very hard thanks to its brutal power. Its Swords Dance sets can set-up very easily thanks to Cetaidon's good bulk and make use of powerful Aqua Jets to bring down the opponent's offensive mons or even more powerful Liquidations to break through defensive pokemons. Overall, Cetaidon is a tank that can switch-in very easily, especially against bulky water or fire types.

Name: Pyrolodont
Ability: Blaze/(Moxie)
Typing: Fire

Relevant Moves: Earthquake, Flare Blitz, Heat Crash, Stone Edge, Superpower, Swords Dance, Wild Charge, Will-O-Wisp, All Universal TMs
Flavor Moves: Bite, Blast Burn, Blaze Kick, Body Slam, Bulk Up, Crunch, Curse, Double-Edge, Ember, Fire Blast, Fire Fang, Fire Pledge, Flame Charge, Flame Wheel, Flamethrower, Giga Impact, High Horsepower, Hyper Beam, Leer, Overheat, Scary Face, Stomp, Sunny Day, Tackle, Take Down
Description: Pyrolodont is based on a Hell Pig. It has decent Speed and Attack which, when paired with good coverage and Moxie, can let it be a massive threat if used properly. It can make use of a Scarf set, that lets it outspeed most pokemons and potentially sweep a weakened team. On the other hand, it can also run a setup set focused more on wallbreaking thanks to Swords Dance. You could even throw Flame Charge on this set to turn it into a sweeper. Pyrolodont’s main weakness is that its very prone to taking a ton of chip damage. Not only is it weak to rocks, but Flare Blitz and Wild Charge are 2 of its best attacking options and they rack up recoil quickly. Overall, a dangerous offensive pokemon with good coverage that can blow a hole in the opponent’s defenses early on or sweep late-game.

Description: Pinequill is a big hedgehog made of pine wood with its quills being pine needles. It’s a bulky Grass type carrying nice resists, notably to Ground and Electric. Thanks to Iron Barbs, it can also punish contact moves. It’s a big part of the hazard game as it has access to both Spikes and Rapid Spin. Along with Synthesis, it’s a useful defensive pokemon as it helps its team with hazard control and can be useful in countering certain mons as well.

Description: A grass type sun setter

I have been drafting a breakdown for hours on ou grass types, futureproofing and the thought process behind this, i saw Palpitoad post 2 hours into it. And thought "I'm glad they don't overlap", then saw mossy post later and that is 11pm where i lived and i scapped the whole thing, TL;DR:

+Amazing sun-fire type synergy
+Good passive wall
-Can't do much outside of stun spore, spikes or leech seed if defensive.
-Can't touch bug poison and flying types

PSA: Don't waste your ability slot on a ability that is seen as viable only when the alternatives are shell armor or gluttony unless you specifically make that pokemon have the common factors that make the ability viable, specially on a pokemon that is bound to be outclassed by better type combinations on both defense and offense, specially if that pokemon is one that future submissions will be prepared to deal with. Game freak didn't feel like making Venusaur or Charizard pure types and there's no reason for you to think you have to.

other: all universal tms

Flavor Moves:
Ember, Encore, Flare Blitz, Giga Impact, Heat Wave, Hyper Beam, Incinerate, Mind-Blown, Morning Sun, Light Screen, Reflect, Self-Destruct
Description: A bulky fire type meant to take advantage of flame body, has been given reliable recovery and various utility options in the hopes of keeping it relevant when compared to other fire combinations that may come up later like steel/fire, outside of flame body you can also use levitate to reduce reliance on boots or flash fire to increase switch-in opportunities, a good calm mind user.

Side note: my pc died on monday and i'm writing this from a very old android 3 phone with a garbage touchscreen and 700mb of ram (200+ are used by the system when idle btw), i can't connect to discord on this and idk when my situation will change but expect the amount of text i write to greatly decrease and decorations like type images to disappear from my posts for a while. Please if you have anything to say use the "start a conversation" option here, i can check the forum at least, mainly saying this just in case there is a balance issue with any of my subs

Relevant Moves: Giga Drain, Leech Seed, Synthesis, Stun Spore, Toxic, Knock Off, Teleport, Psychic, Psyshock, Reflect, Light Screen, Weather Ball, Solar Beam, Growth
Flavor Moves: Will be added if this sub wins
Description: Kinda have to make this have really high stats just so it can compete with its Grass-type competition that I'm sure it'll have. There are just better defensive typings out there that use Grass than just pure Grass, so here's this. Stats may look crazy but there's a lot of Pokemon you can compare this to that are just worse versions of it, but are pretty low tier anyways, so I don't think will be too bad even if I admittedly have not calced it yet. The option of being a weird, slower Sun breaker exists as well.

Name: Fluxtape (my fire mixtape)
Ability: Flame Body / Competitive / Flash Fire

Relevant Moves: Fire Blast, Flamethrower, U-Turn, Earth Power, Focus Blast, Rapid Spin, Will-o-Wisp, Thunder Wave, Lava Plume, Dragon Pulse, Dragon Dance, Flare Blitz, Earthquake, Hyper Voice
Flavor Moves: Will be added if this sub wins
Description: Fast, utility-oriented pivot. Kinda modeled this after OU Dragapult where you have enough of an offensive presence to be threatening and can use that to spread status if they need to. Competitive is also a pretty great fit for a mon like this in a way that hasn't really been explored yet, as the offensive teams this would likely fit on would really be able to use the Defog deterrent. I also wanted this to kind of define a speed benchmark early on. If it wasn't obvious, Knock Off kinda ruins this Pokemon unless they can keep up hazard control.

Description: Just your average Poison Heal mon. Thanks to it's decent bulk and decent defensive typing, it can viably run a Sub SD / Coil Set, or if you wish, a utility set! It can also cripple it's opponents by using Switcheroo to give them a Toxic Orb (Switcheroo was removed) and it can also be a pretty nice pivot thanks to U-Turn. I am not very good at making sets just saying

Edit:
Don't have any ideas for the current slate, but I figure that I'd whip up a quick-reference list of "Moves not in Sword/Shield due to learners snapped but not the moves" since those are allowed and I'm super interested by this meta.
Powder, Light of Ruin, Chatter, Beak Blast, Seed Flare, Ice Hammer, Hyper Fang, Sketch, Judgement, Relic Song, Revelation Dance, Toxic Thread, Hyperspace Hole

Dark Void and Hyperspace Fury also have their descriptions in SWSH (which is what I'm using as the criteria, thanks Bulbapedia) but those might have the hard-coded problem involved.
Sketch…

Alright everyone, time for voting! You can find the rules in the OP. Just remember to vote for each type separetely.

Name: Visharate (Vishous + Accelerate)
Ability: Blaze / Contrary (HA)
Typing: Fire
Stats: 90/100/60/100/60/50 (460)
Weight: 55 kg
V-create, High Horsepower, U-turn, Quick Attack, Drain Punch, Knock Off, Flare Blitz, Body Slam, Double-Edge, Rock Tomb, Rock Slide
Overheat, Heat Wave, Fire Blast, Flamethrower, Solar Beam
Encore, Taunt, Will-O-Wisp, Protect, Substitute, Curse, Roar
and other Universal TMs
Flame Charge, Facade, Rock Smash, Headbutt, Iron Tail, Giga Impact, Strength, Dig, Mud-Slap, Fling, Fire Punch, Thief
Round, Snore, Incinerate, Ember, Secret Power, Fire Spin, Hyper Beam, Swift
Rest, Sleep Talk, Sunny Day, Attract, Confide, Double Team, Swagger, Work Up, Captivate, Helping Hand, Leer, Covet, Mimic
Rapid Spin

Description: Visharate starts slow, but thanks to Contrary V-create, Visharate can really snowball its way through a weakend team. It can be a good AV user thanks to coverage moves and the fact that it doesn't rely on status moves that much. It can still run those, if it wants too.

Name: Gekspode (geko + explode)

Flavor Moves: Fire Fang, Incinerate, Ember, Fire Spin, Sunny Day, Extrasensory, Confusion, Psychic Terrain, Lick, Misty Explosion, Self-Destruct, Misty Terrain
Description: A mixed monster with access to recoiless Mind Blown, Flare Blitz, Double Edge, & Submission. It is also immune to annoying rocks and other indirect damage. It can set up with coil and calm mind.

Name: Pyrolodont
Ability: Blaze/(Moxie)
Typing: Fire
Stats: 95/115/85/75/65/95 (530 BST)
Weight: 227,3kgs
Overall, a dangerous offensive pokemon with good coverage that can blow a hole in the opponent’s defenses early on or sweep late-game.

other: all universal tms

Name: Fluxtape (my fire mixtape)
Ability: Flame Body / Competitive / Flash Fire
Typing: Fire
Stats: 60/89/50/115/60/126 (500)
Weight: 0.2 kg
Name: Volcasion (Volcano + Explosion)

Flavor Moves: Sunny Day, Will-o-Wisp, Flame Charge, Swagger, Flare Blitz, Solar Beam, Iron Tail, Headbutt, Body Slam, Ember, Curse, Dig, Fire Punch, Rock Slide, Fire Pledge, Blast Burn, Fire Fang, Outrage
Description: Special sweeper that can remove hazards, and run a big variety of items, from Specs/Scarf to Life Orb, Leftovers or Heavy-Duty-Boots. Regenerator helps it use Mind Blown more and keep Eruption powerful, as well as pretty much negating it's Stealth Rocks weakness.

Game freak didn't feel like making Venusaur or Charizard pure types and there's no reason for

Name: Nectrance (nectar + trance)
Ability: Natural Cure / Solar Power
Typing: Grass
Stats: 110/65/70/100/110/70 (525)
Weight: 2.6 kg

Description: Just your average Poison Heal mon. Thanks to it's decent bulk and decent defensive typing, it can viably run a Sub SD / Coil Set, or if you wish, a utility set! It can also cripple it's opponents by using Switcheroo to give them a Toxic Orb, and it can also be a pretty nice pivot thanks to U-Turn. Overall, a quite good physical wallbreaker that can blow holes in a team if given the opportunity to set-up.
Weight: 35.5 kg

Name: Kudzume (Kudzu + Consume)
Ability: Stamina / Speed Boost
Typing: Grass

Description: Kudzume is a nice, bulky physical wall that can get terrifyingly out of hand when left unchecked. Its primary STAB move is Power Whip, and its best coverage is Rock Slide, which hits the Fire, Ice, Bug and Flying types that can hit it SE. It has Strength Sap for recovery, and can run Knock Off if needed.
Appearance/Pokedex: Kudzume is a very small rodent-esque Pokemon with a writhing mass of vines growing out of its back. It is highly territorial and has been known to destabilize buildings and mountains by eroding them with its vines.

Magroom
Type: Grass
Abilities: Shield Dust / Effect Spore | Magic Guard (HA)
Stats: 75 / 65 / 85 / 105 / 125 / 75 | 530 BST
Relevant Movepool:
Special: Giga Drain, Energy Ball, Earth Power, Psychic, Moonblast, Mystical Fire, Aura Sphere, Focus Blast, Sludge Bomb,
Status: Recover, Spore, Calm Mind, Leech Seed, Trick Room, Toxic, Stun Spore
WIP
Description: Versatile Magic Guard pokemon with Spore. Its typing and lower physical Def leaves it with enough weaknesses to balance out its excellent ability, support and SpD capabilities. Depending on the metagame it could try to run Life Orb sets thanks to Magic Guard and its good coverage movepool. It's a mushroom/wizard with a juxtaposition of a big hat with the cap of the mushroom.
