I win Bug with Magroach...
Name: Resonake (Resonate + Snake)
Ability: Soundproof / Sheer Force
Typing: Normal
Stats: 84 / 70 / 119 / 76 / 113 / 67 (BST: 529)
Weight: 7 kg
Relevant Moves: Boomburst, Ice Beam, Flamethrower, Thunderbolt, Recover, Rapid Spin
Flavor Moves: Protect, Sleep Talk, Substitute, Rest, Round, Snore, Facade, Attract, Toxic, Confide, Double Team, Swagger, Sunny Day, Work Up, Endure, Rain Dance, Mud-Slap, Double-Edge, Headbutt, Uproar, Shock Wave, Take Down, Iron Tail, Tackle, Giga Impact, Echoed Voice, Hyper Voice, Body Slam, Mimic, Hyper Beam, Dig, Thunder, Rock Smash, Fling, Thunder Wave, Covet, Zen Headbutt, Strength, Psych Up, Growl, Helping Hand, Water Pulse, Payback, Tri Attack, Overdrive, Rollout
Description: Resonake is a Sheer Force/Boomburst user with great bulk, designed to be quite tanky while also dealing decent damage. Access to Rapid Spin gives it good utility, and Recover keeps it alive long enough for Boomburst and a choice of Sheer Force-boosted coverage options to do their work.
Appearance and Pokedex: Resonake is a chonky didgeridoo snake reminiscent of the Tsuchinoko, if the Tsuchinoko was also a didgeridoo. It absorbs wind through a hole in its tail, and then expels it in a massive blast of sound from its gaping maw. It is also somehow able to channel the elements into blasts of energy.
And El Cadaver wins Poison with Clavelye!Name: Magroach (Magic + Corckroach)
Type: Bug
Abilities: Magic Guard / (Rattled)
Stats: 90/110/85/85/110/90 (570 BST)
Relevant moves: U-Turn, Toxic, Lunge, First Impression, Knock Off, Roost,
Flavor Moves: Moonlight, Bug Bite, Steamroller, Powder, Skitter Smack, Fell Stinger, Bug Buzz, Infestation, Fly, Giga Drain, Swift, Magic Room, Body Slam, Agility, Skill Swap, Cosmic Power, X-Scissor, Bite, Sunny Day, Aerial Ace, Light Screen, Venoshock
Description: Offensive pivot with good longevity thanks to Magic Guard and Roost. Can help it's team make progress through Toxic, First Impression or Knock. I can see this running U-Turn/Toxic/Knock Off/Roost, and maybe First Impression instead of Toxic.
Discussion phase is now open! Though, we are going to do a playtesting break now that we've done all the monotypes, to see how the meta looks like, so this discussion will probably last a week or two.
Name: Clavelye (Clavel [Spanish name of the carnation flower] + Lye)

- Recover, Toxic, Aromatherapy, Acid Armor, Stockpile, Defog, Haze, Curse
Flavor Moves: Water Pulse, Explosion, Universal TMS, Purify, Bubble, Bubble Beam, More to be added later
Weight: 58.1kg
Description: A poison type made to fill some needs on the meta with a fighting resisting knock off absorber with reliable recovery as well as another hazards clearer, its themed after detergent and is a poison type that focus on cleaning instead of dirtying up stuff, i know it overlaps as a poison immune physical wall with burrodger but by virtue of their typings they check a completely different set of pokemon and while burrodger has nice qualities like volt switch immunity and stealth rock this pokemon also stands out as a nice toxic spikes absorber, grass type check, u-turn resisting wall and thanks to sticky hold + recover its checking fighting types and general knock off users better than gencook (our fairy type), gencook in particular benefits from this since it allows it to run calm mind + recycle + berry sets without worry of having to switch into knock off.
This gets a lot of set-up/Sub opportunities thanks to it's typing + Primordial Sea. I'd recommend removing at least Substitute and maybe SD.Name: Seapwreck (Sea + Shipwreck)
Ability: Weak Armor / Water Absorb (H: Primordial Sea)
Typing: Ghost/Steel
Stats: 70 / 112 / 100 / 66 / 78 / 30 (BST: 456)

Relevant Moves: Universal TMs, Gyro Ball, Iron Head, Anchor Shot, Poltergeist, Shadow Sneak, Toxic, Swords Dance, Liquidation, Flip Turn
Flavor Moves: WIP
Description: Not Mega Dhelmise from M4A.
This hits a little too hard (notably with Tech Dual Chop). Nerfing it's Attack to 80 will make it more manageable while still being threatening.
Name: Laopharsi
Ability: Technician / Strong Jaw / HA: Corrosion
Typing:
Stats: 85/120/100/80/56/109 BST:550
Weight: 750kg / 1653.5 lbs. Height: (Tail to head) 7m / 23ft.
Relevant Moves: (Including Universal TMs)
Gunk Shot, Scale Shot, Dual Chop, Dragon Tail, First Impression, Fell Stinger, Crunch, Jaw Lock, Pursuit, Bulldoze, Flip Turn, Fire Fang, Ice Fang, Thunder Fang.
Baneful Bunker, Toxic, Venom Drench, Coil, Clangorous Soul.
Flavor Moves: Poison Fang, Poison Tail, Poison Sting, Acid, Acid Spray, Acid Armor, Bite, Amnesia.
Description: "Laophis", a pre-historic snake + "Farsi", from both "Farsi", (language)Persian for (the word)Persian and the Persian-Horned Viper. Inspired by radioactive waste. It's scales are giant heavy metal plates, with spaces between them, filled with the gooey liquid Laopharsi's body secretes constantly. It uses both horns and tail to make devastating attacks. Laopharsi are never seen in groups and have a nomad lifestyle, rendering any wilderness they pass through useless. Sights of this pokemon are extremely rare, and people only realised it's existence because of the wastelands it leaves behind.
Basically a physical sweeper with many coverage tools, natural speed tier has it over everyone except Fluxtape, Wesgranit, Skappa and Storvark, but it has setup moves, mainly Coil and Clangorous Soul, with no recovery tool for itself you may run dry of HP. Although their abilities make up for a quite tough choice, Technician for Pursuit, Bulldoze, Flip Turn and a 60x2 dragon STAB with Dual Chop or a risk-reward Scale Shot, Strong Jaw for a frightening elemental coverage and Crunch/Jaw Lock or, well Corrosion is quite niche ngl but Toxic and Venom Drench are quite a combo, if you want to experiment with that. It's not shy of immediate moves either, First Impression for revenge kills and the already mentioned Technician Pursuit, also it's natural defensive bulk will let it survive a Wesgranit Earthquake or a Cetaidon Icicle Crash. Overall a decent attacker which has a small yet unpredictable toolbox of moves and abilities.
This seems very hard to wall. I'd say to remove either Sword Dance or a lot of coverage.Name: Knightmare (Knight + Nightmare, also a pun.)
Ability: Bad Dreams/No Guard/ Justified (HA)
Typing: Ghost/Steel
Stats: 89/127/113/31/67/97 (BST: 524)
Weight: 103 kg
Relevant Moves: Universal TMs, Stone Edge, Psycho Cut, Poltergeist, Knock Off, Throat Chop, Sacred Sword, Iron Head, Stealth Rock, Swords Dance, Cross Poison, Toxic, X-Scissor, Shadow Claw, Outrage(hidden power tho its not very useful)
Flavor Moves: Nightmare, Fury Cutter, Cut, Slash, Air Slash, Aerial Ace, Spite, Grudge, Night Slash, Brick Break
Description: this thing might uhh, have too much coverage. Stone Edge hits magroach, skappa and fluxtape, psycho cut hits clavelyle and dojodo, sacred sword hits heraleo, resonake, correept and wesgranit, cross poison hits prairett, Outrage, tho not very reliable as a move at all when used by a non-dragon type, hits Drakotomy. if this thing gets voted in, it would definetly had mons that wall it, since it did lose some coverage from before i actually started writing this (Leaf Blade, wich meant nothing could wall it). i feel like it would overall be a very powerful pokemon if it got in. stealth rock and toxic are pretty good support moves for a bulky pokemon with no recovery
