Here are the winners!

NeonNitroGlycerin wins Normal with Resonake...
Resonake!.png

Name: Resonake (Resonate + Snake)
Ability: Soundproof / Sheer Force
Typing: Normal
Stats: 84 / 70 / 119 / 76 / 113 / 67 (BST: 529)
Weight: 7 kg
Relevant Moves: Boomburst, Ice Beam, Flamethrower, Thunderbolt, Recover, Rapid Spin
Flavor Moves: Protect, Sleep Talk, Substitute, Rest, Round, Snore, Facade, Attract, Toxic, Confide, Double Team, Swagger, Sunny Day, Work Up, Endure, Rain Dance, Mud-Slap, Double-Edge, Headbutt, Uproar, Shock Wave, Take Down, Iron Tail, Tackle, Giga Impact, Echoed Voice, Hyper Voice, Body Slam, Mimic, Hyper Beam, Dig, Thunder, Rock Smash, Fling, Thunder Wave, Covet, Zen Headbutt, Strength, Psych Up, Growl, Helping Hand, Water Pulse, Payback, Tri Attack, Overdrive, Rollout
Description: Resonake is a Sheer Force/Boomburst user with great bulk, designed to be quite tanky while also dealing decent damage. Access to Rapid Spin gives it good utility, and Recover keeps it alive long enough for Boomburst and a choice of Sheer Force-boosted coverage options to do their work.
Appearance and Pokedex: Resonake is a chonky didgeridoo snake reminiscent of the Tsuchinoko, if the Tsuchinoko was also a didgeridoo. It absorbs wind through a hole in its tail, and then expels it in a massive blast of sound from its gaping maw. It is also somehow able to channel the elements into blasts of energy.
I win Bug with Magroach...
Name: Magroach (Magic + Corckroach)
Type: Bug
Abilities: Magic Guard / (Rattled)
Stats: 90/110/85/85/110/90 (570 BST)
Relevant moves: U-Turn, Toxic, Lunge, First Impression, Knock Off, Roost,

Description: Offensive pivot with good longevity thanks to Magic Guard and Roost. Can help it's team make progress through Toxic, First Impression or Knock. I can see this running U-Turn/Toxic/Knock Off/Roost, and maybe First Impression instead of Toxic.
And El Cadaver wins Poison with Clavelye!

:bw/muk: :xy/weezing-galar:
Name: Clavelye (Clavel [Spanish name of the carnation flower] + Lye)
Type:

Ability: Sticky Hold/Clear Body/Healer (HA)

- Recover, Toxic, Aromatherapy, Acid Armor, Stockpile, Defog, Haze, Curse
Flavor Moves: Water Pulse, Explosion, Universal TMS, Purify, Bubble, Bubble Beam, More to be added later
Weight: 58.1kg
Description: A poison type made to fill some needs on the meta with a fighting resisting knock off absorber with reliable recovery as well as another hazards clearer, its themed after detergent and is a poison type that focus on cleaning instead of dirtying up stuff, i know it overlaps as a poison immune physical wall with burrodger but by virtue of their typings they check a completely different set of pokemon and while burrodger has nice qualities like volt switch immunity and stealth rock this pokemon also stands out as a nice toxic spikes absorber, grass type check, u-turn resisting wall and thanks to sticky hold + recover its checking fighting types and general knock off users better than gencook (our fairy type), gencook in particular benefits from this since it allows it to run calm mind + recycle + berry sets without worry of having to switch into knock off.
Discussion phase is now open! Though, we are going to do a playtesting break now that we've done all the monotypes, to see how the meta looks like, so this discussion will probably last a week or two.

Resonake
Resonake is a nice defensive pokemon. It brings hazard removal to its team and should be a solid blanket check for whatever defense it decides to invest into. It can also wear down Toxicless Dullaham through repeated Thunderbolts because it can't really damage it. Being able to damage Prairett through its sub is also quite nice.
Resonake @ Leftovers
Ability: Sheer Force
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Rapid Spin
- Recover
- Boomburst
- Thunderbolt
I think physical bulk will be slightly more valuable due to this possibly pairing up with Dullaham who has great special bulk. Thunderbolt is probably the best 4th coverage move because it hits all of Dullaham, Heraleo and Wegranit neutrally.

Magroach
Seems like a solid offensive pivot thanks to Magic Guard and a Powerful stab U-Turn. Its main issue is its serious lack of coverage which will make it very tough for it to go up against Fairy, Fighting and Steel types. I can see it running Toxic for the first 2 but steels are gonna be really annoying to go up against.
Magroach @ Life Orb
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- U-turn
- Knock Off
- Toxic
- First Impression/Roost
Not a whole lot of options tbh but U-Turn spam is pretty good.

Edit: Now, it has Double-Edge and Brick Break which could be useful coverage.

Clavelye
Solid defensive pokemon, Toxic immunity+spreading Toxic itself makes it appealing. Defog and Haze make for some nice utility and Recover is, of course, always good. I also wouldn't underestimate it offensively. 120 base special attack and solid coverage can make it threatening. It doesn't seem super difficult to wall but, since it's able to cripple pokemons that can with Toxic, it seems able to force progress quite easily.
Clavelye @ Leftovers
Ability: Sticky Hold
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Recover
- Haze/Toxic
- Defog
- Sludge Bomb/Fire Blast
Toxic+Fire Blast is a very good combo. Just a good overall wall that can do well against pokemons like Dojodo and Correept.

Clavelye @ Leftovers
Ability: Sticky Hold
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpA
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Surf
- Fire Blast
- Thunderbolt
- Toxic
This set was made to hit every Toxic immunity besides Clavelye. All of Prairett, Burrodger, Heraleo and Nimbustorm get hit by one of its coverage moves, letting it Toxic other pokemon like Dullaham, Correept and Drakotomy. Clavelye is the only pokemon that can really take it on without getting crippled.

Well turns out I thought it had electric coverage fsr. RIP.

Time for my one-liner thoughts about the new Pokémon, because I don’t really feel like typing more than 2 sentences rn.

Resonake - Looking pretty nice. Nice to see a balanced mon that can abuse STAB Boomburst.

Magroach - Looks nice as well. Offensive pivots with STAB U-Turn are always pretty nice.

Clavelye - This is very good. Nice bulk, good SpA, nice coverage, what’s not to like about this to be honest!

P.S. Stop making Prairret counters ;-;

Before opening the new slate, i have some announcements to make...

Balance Changes:
-Fluxtape will gain access to Dark Pulse
-Wesgranit will gain access to Rapid Spin and Heavy Slam

Error Fix:
-Due to a missunderstanding (i've since made it clearer in the OP), Pokemon getting Universal TMs have Toxic in their movepools even though they shouldn't. We are now fixing this, now only Pokemon who were specificied to have Toxic when submitted will have it, with the exception of Dullaham and Heraleo, who will keep it due to it being one of their most important moves.

Survey:
Here are some questions about the metagame. DuoM2 will be collecting the answers, so DM him to give your answers.
Post your exact VR (with subranks like A+ or B-).

Do you think any Pokemon are too good in the current metagame? If yes, which? What nerfs would you propose?

Do you think any Pokemon are too bad in the current metagame? If yes, which? What buffs would you propose?

What suggestions/advice would you give to people submiting?

What do you think the meta needs more of currently?

Now for the new slate...

Slate7: Ghost-Steel, Electric-Water and Poison-Dragon
You have 5 days to submit! Have fun!

Description: The next in the line of Pyuku/Pincu pokemon comes Staxia, a Pokemon based on the Wiwaxia (see image below for reference). It has a slug-like body that is covered in colorful, sharp scales. These scales, while relatively flimsy, are charged with static electricity and can be discharged when attacking or getting hit. Staxia largely serves for utility within the game, though can also serve as a potent special wall. With access to Nuzzle, Rain Dance, Electric Terrain, Spikes, Sticky Web, and Volt Switch, Staxia is good at setting utility and pivoting out.

Description: I tried making this with the fact that I undershoot things in mind, but here's a mon that abuses the defensive capabilities of its typing within the current meta to spam Ghost moves. Checks Gencook and Harzodia, DESTROYS Skappa, and hammy only heals 116 out of a bare minimum 341 max HP with Strength Sap. Burrodger does a great job keeping you at bay though, chad Fluxtape can OHKO even max HP variants after rocks, and there are others like Drakotomy that should do okay against you no matter what set you are.

Description: Here's a bold one. The goal seemed to be to let Fluxtape beat the bulky Water, but that's not very easy since it's most commonly been run with Boots and it's really difficult to hit a threshold where you get cleanly 2HKOd by Earth Power while also running full Sp. Def. I think I might enjoy using Fluxtape with some other weird power boosting item like Expert Belt but haven't tried it yet. Regardless, this is a defensive Pokemon that is meant to have that sort of utility while also achieving that goal.

Relevant Moves: Gunk Shot, Dragon Claw, Close Combat, Liquidation, Toxic, Spikes, U-Turn, Bulk Up, Haze
Description: Toilet dragon. Liquid Ooze is a cool ability to mess with Gencook really hard, and you have Haze and a typing that is resilient to our current two setup spam mons so you can keep them from getting too out of hand. If the opponent happens to switch into Heraleo when you click Haze, they instantly become much more vulnerable to Close Combat. Lack of recovery and low Speed is going to damage your longevity at least to some extent, and Clavelye beats this pretty convincingly.

In Design it would like an Edestus (Duh), With Blue Skin and Yellow Thunder-Like Details.

Description: "Laophis", a pre-historic snake + "Farsi", from both "Farsi", (language)Persian for (the word)Persian and the Persian-Horned Viper. Inspired by radioactive waste. It's scales are giant heavy metal plates, with spaces between them, filled with the gooey liquid Laopharsi's body secretes constantly. It uses both horns and tail to make devastating attacks. Laopharsi are never seen in groups and have a nomad lifestyle, rendering any wilderness they pass through useless. Sights of this pokemon are extremely rare, and people only realised it's existence because of the wastelands it leaves behind.
Basically a physical sweeper with many coverage tools, natural speed tier has it over everyone except Fluxtape, Wesgranit, Skappa and Storvark, but it has setup moves, mainly Coil and Clangorous Soul, with no recovery tool for itself you may run dry of HP. Although their abilities make up for a quite tough choice, Technician for Pursuit, Bulldoze, Flip Turn and a 60x2 dragon STAB with Dual Chop or a risk-reward Scale Shot, Strong Jaw for a frightening elemental coverage and Crunch/Jaw Lock or, well Corrosion is quite niche ngl but Toxic and Venom Drench are quite a combo, if you want to experiment with that. It's not shy of immediate moves either, First Impression for revenge kills and the already mentioned Technician Pursuit, also it's natural defensive bulk will let it survive a Wesgranit Earthquake or a Cetaidon Icicle Crash. Overall a decent attacker which has a small yet unpredictable toolbox of moves and abilities.

Flavor Moves: Smart Strike, Metal Sound, Ominous Wind, Grudge, Spite, Belch, Air Cutter, Thief.
Description: Kopfgeld, German for "Bounty" + Kobold, German for "Goblin". Inspired by typical low-rank pirate suits, German because Germanic folklore depicts goblins. Kopbold started appearing over shipwrecks and secluded islands, it's body is incorporeal, but the steel plates en it's body arent. Same with it's blade, presumed to be a plate taken off a ship. Kopbold go arround in groups, scavenging anything they can find and are extremely territorial, if they find another Kopbold group, they fight until one surrenders, rendering that piece of land exclusive to the winning group.
Pretty Straightforward stats, Kopbold shines on it's abilities and movepool. Wandering Spirit will get rid of some annoying abilities, like Heracleo's Tough Claws, Drakotomy's Hustle, Dojojo's Iron Fist, etc. Unaware counters those setup pokes like Prairret, Cetaidon, Coreept, Burrodger, Laopharsi (if it's voted), etc. Shadow Shield is more generic and it gives you a window to stop sweeps and Final Gambit or setup Nasty Plot/SD. Speaking 'bout them, Kopbold has a rainbow of coverage at it's disposal on both categories, suffering of a heavy 4-move-syndrome: Psysical has a packed dual STAB with Spectral Thief, SSneak and Archor Shot, Grass that deals with ground types, and trio of Ghost, Psychic and Dark, while Special has the well rounded Flash Cannon and Shadow Ball/Hex with WoW, Water that deals with Fire types, and the quite good coverage of Ground and Fighting. The pokemon is deceiving, being able to adapt it's moveset to your team and have a neutral hit for practically any mon on the right hands. Fear the cursed blade cause it sure does turn the tides in battle.

Soak, Ion Deluge, Electrify, No Retreat
Flavor Moves: Wild Charge, Electro Ball, Charge, Ion Deluge, Dive, Brine.
Description: Eel for the animal and thunder. It lives on warm, fresh waters, normally giant lakes. When calm or sleeping it's seen at it's OFF state, taking the surrounding water as both breathing and energy generating purposes. when it's running from another pokemon or hunting one itself it's seen at it's ON state, sparking a giant thunderbolt surrounding it and getting incredible speeds, working as both a shield and a deadly zapping tool. After a while it runs out of energy and enters it's OFF state, needing to recharge for a while before entering it's ON state again.
Hundeel has few yet deadly options It has amazing special bulk cause of the giant thunderbolt surrounding it, and it's movepool is nothing to sneeze at. First it's a Reckless set, including STAB Volt Tackle, masive Head Smash and Double Edge, including Leech life for recovering after the recoil, Speed Boost mainly for Fishious Rend, a massive sweep tool, although not as deadly without Strong Jaw, Nuzzle is there for even more speed control, and Lightning Rod is a fun gimmick with Ion Deluge and Electrify, giving you a free SpA boost to then Parabolic Charge with. All of these are aided by Soak, a way to make your electric attacks super effective, and stellar No Retreat, a free +1 omniboost in exchange of not being able to switch. If you're sweeping you'll stay regardless and if not you'll just Flip Turn/Volt Switch and try again next time, it's 5 PP will have you short after 5 switches tho so be careful. (Also had planned to get a form change between ON and OFF, but since there's no customs I had to suffice with these 3 abilities, if the pokemon is voted, waaaay in the future I might vouch for Hundeel to get a custom. For now consider the ON form it's natural and only state and sprite)

Special Moves: Shadow Ball, Flash Cannon, Mirror Shot, Night Shade, Hydro Pump, Water Gun, Surf, Whirlpool, Dark Pulse, Earth Power, Ominous Wind

Status Moves: Will-o-wisp, Spikes, Switcheroo, Rain Dance, Destiny Bond

Flavor Description: Lockergeist is based on the metaphor of Davy Jone's Locker, expect its literally a locker. Much like Dhelmise, its aquatic but not water type. The Locker part of it is covered up with bigass ghostly chains and locks that possessed it.

Competitive Description: Basically, a trapper and a wall that has dual stab on spirit shackle and anchor shot. It is 4x resistant to U turn and Volt absorb makes it block Volt switch. It also has access to good utility moves such as Wisp, spikes, and Rapid spin. Great Physical Bulk means that it can take a good amount of physical attacks. That's it really.

This hits a little too hard (notably with Tech Dual Chop). Nerfing it's Attack to 80 will make it more manageable while still being threatening.

Description: Leviafume is a dragon that exhales poisonous gas from its nostrils. Competitively, it uses its great physical bulk alongside a decent attack stat to be a bulky attacker. However, it needs to use Thunder or Dark Pulse to hit steel types which is suboptimal. As such, it might be better off using more defensively. It has a lot of supportive tools alongside its high bulk such as Spikes, Toxic Spikes, Corrosive Gas and a choice of Dragon Tail/Roar/Haze/Clear Smog. It could also run protect to squeeze as much recovery out of Black Sludge as possible or resttalk since its bulk might be worth using this mediocre recovery option. It also has poison point to try and punish U-Turns and Flip Turns.
