Galarian Stunfisk is a great Stealth Rock user in the metagame thanks to its high HP stat, solid defensive stats, and a great defensive typing that lets it wall threats such as Rotom, Rotom-S, Rotom-F, and Magneton. Stone Edge and Rock Slide are used to hit Pokemon such as Cramorant, Cryogonal, Frosmoth, and the aforementioned Rotom formes; Rock Slide is more consistent and preferred due to its higher accuracy and PP, while Stone Edge is mainly used to OHKO Centiskorch. Protect allows Galarian Stunfisk to gain more recovery from Leftovers and lets it scout Choice item users such as Sawk and Rotom. Yawn is used to force switches from Pokemon that wall Galarian Stunfisk such as Uxie and Miltank. Foul Play can be used in order to deal significant damage to Pokemon that have set up a Swords Dance such as the Silvally formes.

Galarian Stunfisk is a great pick on balance and stall teams thanks to it compressing the role of an Electric immunity, Stealth Rock setter, and special wall. Bulky Water-types such as Poliwrath, Jellicent, and Wishiwashi are great partners to Galarian Stunfisk, as they can take on Water-types such as Basculin and Poliwrath that threaten Galarian Stunfisk while also benefitting from Galarian Stunfisk's Electric immunity. Grass-types are also great partners to cover Galarian Stunfisk, with Appletun covering its weaknesses to Ground, Water, and Fire, while Gourgeist-S and Trevenant cover its weaknesses to Ground, Water, and Fighting. Uxie can also work as a partner, as it is resistant to Fighting and immune to Ground. Spikes stacking teams can also appreciate Galarian Stunfisk's ability to force switches with Yawn, with Spikes setters such as Qwilfish and Garbodor also covering Galarian Stunfisk's weakness to Fighting.

Snap Trap is used to trap and chip targets down while working in conjunction with Yawn to inflict sleep. However, having one of these moves reduces Galarian Stunfisk's coverage and utility in other areas and leaves it unable to deal with Substitute + Nasty Plot Rotom formes; they should only been used if the team has a good reason to need these moves. Rest is also used as a recovery option, but it is considerably niche and only fits on select teams. Rest is best used when paired with Heal Bell support from Audino or Altaria on stall teams.

===================

**Water-types**: Water-types such as Basculin, Poliwrath, and Wishiwashi can threaten Galarian Stunfisk with their super effective STAB moves.

**Ground-types**: Ground-types such as Rhydon, Palossand, and Silvally-Gound can threaten Galarian Stunfisk out, with the former two using that opportunity to set up Stealth Rock and the later setting up with Swords Dance.

**Fighting-types and Fighting Coverage**: Fighting-types such as Sawk and Gurdurr threaten Galarian Stunfisk with their super effective STAB moves, while Cofagrigus can set up with Iron Defense and KO it with Body Press.

**Fire-types**: Fire-types such as Centiskorch, Ninetales, and Rapidash can threaten Galarian Stunfisk with their super effective STAB moves, although they cannot safely switch in due to Galarian Stunfisk's Rock / Ground coverage.

**Strong Wallbreakers**: While Galarian Stunfisk does have great bulk, it can easily get overwhelmed by strong setup sweepers such as Swords Dance Shiftry, Silvally-Ground, Silvally-Ghost, and Iron Defense Cofagrigus.

**Spikes**: Spikes can chip down Galarian Stunfisk over time, limiting its number of switch ins and effectiveness as a special wall.

**Item Removal**: Losing its Leftovers removes Galarian Stunfisk's main form of recovery, unless it is running rest, limiting its effectiveness as a special wall. Pokemon such as Knock Off Uxie and Trick Rotom are the ones to watch out for.

Galarian Stunfisk is a great Stealth Rock user in the metagame thanks to its high HP stat, solid defensive stats, and a great defensive typing in Steel/Ground providing immunity to both Poison and Electric These attributes allow Galarian Stunfisk to be a fantastic switch in to letting it wall threats such as Rotom, Rotom-S, Rotom-F, and Magneton preventing momentum gained via volt switch blocking Volt Switch whilst simultaneously allowing an opportunity to set Stealth Rocks yourself. Earthquake is Galarian Stunfisk STAB move with Stone Edge/Rock slide being used to hit a mixture of flying, ice, and levitate Pokemon such as Cramorant, Cryogonal, Frosmoth and the aforementioned Rotom forms mention the difference between both moves. Protect is used in order to increase the amount of recovery received from leftovers with Yawn being used to force switches or put a Pokemon to Sleep. Foul Play can be used in order to deal significant damage to Pokemon that have set up a Swords Dance such as the Silvally forms.

Galarian Stunfisk is a great pick on balance and stall teams thanks to it compressing the role of an Electric immunity and Stealth Rocks setter whilst also providing utility and being a special wall. Bulky Waters such as Poliwrath, Jellicent, and Wishiwashi are great partners to Galarian Stunfisk as they can take on Water- and Fire-types give examples that threaten Galarian Stunfisk whilst also benefitting from Galarian Stunfisk Electric immunity. Grass types are also great partners to cover Galarian Stunfisk with Appletun covering the Ground, Water, and Fire weakness whilst Gourgeist-S or Trevenant cover Ground, Water, and Fighting. Uxie can also work as a partner as it is a great fighting resist and is also immune to ground. Spike stacking teams can also appreciate Galarian Stunfisk ability to force switches with Yawn with spike setters Qwilfish and Garbodor also covering Galarian Stunfisk weakness to Fighting. I'd like to have more stall specific examples, especially Audino which is an amazing partner for Gunfisk.

Snap Trap is sometimes used to trap and chip targets down whilst also working in conjunction with Yawn to inflict sleep mention that it lets Gunfisk unable to deal with Sub NP Rotom forms. Rest is also used as a recovery option mention how it differs from protect but is best used when paired with Heal Bell support it also leaves Gunfisk exploitable. Having one of the moves however does reduce Galarian Stunfisk coverage and utility in other areas so should only been used if the team has a good reason need these moves

===================

**Water-types** (AH): Water-types (AH) such as Basculin, Poliwrath, (AC) and Wishiwashi can threaten Galarian Stunfisk due to their super effective STAB moves. (AP)

**Ground-types** (AH): Ground-types (AH) such as Rhydon, Palossand, (AC) and Silvally-Gound can threaten Galarian Stunfisk out with the first two being able to set up rocks and the later setting up a Swords Dance. (AP)

**Fighting-types and coverage** (AH): (ASC) Fighting-types (AH) such as Sawk and Gurdurr threaten Galarian Stunfisk due to their super effective STAB moves whilst Cofagrigus can set up Iron Defencse and then Body Press.

**Fire Types** (AH): (ASC) Fire-types (AH) such as Centiskorch, Magmortar, and Rapidash can threaten Galarian Stunfisk due to their super effective STAB moves although cannot switch in safely due to Galarian Stunfisk Rock/Ground coverage. (AP)

**Substitute** Pokemon with substitute such as Rotom and Uxie can set up in front of Galarian Stunfisk and not be affected by Yawn
Sub Uxie isn't common enough for this, while other Substitute users get their Substitute destroyed by Eq/rock move.

**Strong breakers**: (ASC) Whilst Galarian Stunfisk does have great bulk it can get overwhelmed easily by stronger attacks with boosting moves such as Shiftry, Cofagrigus->already mentioned under Fighting coverage, and the Silvally forms. (AP)

**Spikes**:

**Item removal**:

Implemented and ready for 2nd QC.

Had a bit of trouble trying to word stall partners into the 2nd paragraph as suggested so I put it in the other options section when talking about rest. Hope this is ok. If not let me know and ill have another go

(Fluff, already state its a rocker and listing 4 Electric-types gets the point across that it blocks Volt Switch) Stone Edge/Rock slide being used to hit Pokemon such as Cramorant, Cryogonal, Frosmoth and the aforementioned Rotom forms with Stone Edge dealing more damage but having less accuracy and pp than Rock Slide. (Mention that Rock Slide is preferred because it is more consistent due its higher accuracy and PP, while Stone Edge is mainly used to OHKO Centiskorch. Going to have to restructure the sentence.) Protect is used in order to increase the amount of recovery received from leftovers Leftovers and to scout Choice-item users such as Sawk and Rotom. with Yawn being used to force switches against Pokemon that wall Galarian Stunfisk such as Uxie and Miltank. (Removed fluff and added a detailed explanation) or put a Pokemon to Sleep. Foul Play can be used in order to deal significant damage to Pokemon that have set up a Swords Dance such as the Silvally forms.

Snap Trap is sometimes used to trap and chip targets down whilst also working in conjunction with Yawn to inflict sleep. Rest is also used as a recovery option which provides instant recovery to full HP and status removal whereas leftovers provides passive recovery over time but is considerably niche and only fits on select teams. (Fluff) Rest is best used when paired with Heal Bell support such as Audino or Altaria when used on stall teams. Having one of the moves however does reduce Galarian Stunfisk coverage and utility in other areas such as being unable to deal with Substitute + Nasty Plot Rotom forms so should only been used if the team has a good reason need these moves. Should move this to after the Snap Trap mention because I think that's what this line is referring to (since running Rest only takes away 1 slot not 2)

===================

**Water-types**: Water types such as Basculin, Poliwrath, and Wishiwashi can threaten Galarian Stunfisk due to their super effective STAB moves.

**Ground-types**: Ground-types such as Rhydon, Palossand, and Silvally-Gound can threaten Galarian Stunfisk out with the first two being able to set up rocks and the later setting up a Swords Dance.

**Fighting-types and coverage**: Fighting-types such as Sawk and Gurdurr threaten Galarian Stunfisk due to their super effective STAB moves whilst Cofagrigus can set up Iron Defence and then Body Press.

**Fire-Types**: Fire-types such as Centiskorch, Magmortar, and Rapidash can threaten Galarian Stunfisk due to their super effective STAB moves although cannot switch in safely due to Galarian Stunfisk Rock/Ground coverage. However, if Galarian Stunfisk is healthy enough, it can live a hit and OHKO back with Earthquake or Stone Edge.

**Strong breakers**: Whilst Galarian Stunfisk does have great bulk it can get overwhelmed easily by stronger attacks with boosting moves such as Swords Dance Shiftry, Iron Defense Cofagrigus, and the Silvally forms. (Specify which SD Silv formes)

**Spikes**: Spikes can chip down Galarian Stunfisk over time limiting its number of switch ins and effectiveness as a special wall. Not as relevant as the other checks and counters and I think it should be removed, but I'll ask other QC members and reply back.

**Item Removal**: Losing its leftovers removes Galarian Stunfisk's main form of recovery unless running rest limiting its effectiveness as a special wall. Mention which Pokemon threaten this (Knock Off Uxie and Trick Rotom)

Snap Trap is sometimes used to trap and chip targets down whilst also while working in conjunction with Yawn to inflict sleep. However,(AC) having(lowercase) one of these moves however does reduces Galarian Stunfisk's coverage and utility in other areas such as being and leaves it unable to deal with Substitute + Nasty Plot Rotom formes;(add semicolon) so they should only been used if the team has a good reason to need these moves. Rest is also used as a recovery option,(AC) but it is considerably niche and only fits on select teams. Rest is best used when paired with Heal Bell support such as from Audino or Altaria when used on stall teams.

However, if Galarian Stunfisk is healthy enough, it can live a hit and OHKO back with Earthquake or Stone Edge. (Is this sentence necessary? It is just a repetition of the second part of the first sentence)

**Strong Wallbreakers**: Whilst While Galarian Stunfisk does have great bulk,(AC) it can easily get overwhelmed easily by stronger attacks with boosting moves strong setup sweepers such as Swords Dance Shiftry, Silvally-Ground(remove space), Silvally-Ghost,(AC) and Iron Defense Cofagrigus.
